"Who puts a laser trap in a drawer? There is a 19.47% chance an organic will forget which drawer contains the lasers, and that probability just keeps going up. Not to mention friends coming over and looking for snacks!" The android goes on as she begins to help disable the trap.

as you move into the finally room you see three rows of mostly bare shelves stand along the southeastern end of this wide room. Here and there, a dilapidated pistol or longarm sits on a dusty shelf. Three humanoid robots stand near the north wall; each is hunched over and covered in scorch marks, occasionally emitting puffs of sickly gray smoke. you recognize these bots as the same model you dispatched in the armory.
Handsome begins casing the room meticulously and discovers a strange technological device covered in leathery gore. Any one looking through also notices a few battered, but serviceable weapons. IDing this will require either engineering or mysticism.
a pulsecaster pistol
a red star plasma rifle
a tactical acid dart rifle
a thunderstrike sonic pistol
a utility scattergun
all weapons are unloaded and broken but can be repaired.
GM Friendly Sauce |
Necrotech is commonly available on Eox and quite popular among members of the corpse fleet..
Handsome Gob |
"Hmmm..." Handsome looks over Justin's shoulder and says, "That looks like a sonic pulse protector. And the paraphased paraphoretic manipulator has liquified. Also, the optical oxygen interface has oscillated out of alignment. So you thinking what I'm thinking this is??
Handsome auto-assists Justin's Engineering check.

Handsome Gob |
"Huh? Wut?" says Handsome as he very obviously tries to slip the necrograft into a pocket that could never possibly fit...
GM Friendly Sauce |
Unfortunately this particular graft is no longer useable, however it definitly means whoever was here last may be missing one.

"Maybe we check with that Eox diplomat guy first, Give-a-lark Snore? Unless we know someone on Eox?"
Can we send a message to Gevalarsk Nor?
Xavier "Rover" Florin |
"I hate Eoxians, like why live on in a horrible husk! Also no booze, smokes or sex..what kinda life is that!" he says chuckling.
GM Friendly Sauce |
Can we send a message to Gevalarsk Nor?
Once you get somewhere a little less remote in the Diaspora, in this heavy concentration of asteroids you’ll never get a signal.
Xavier "Rover" Florin |
"Also Captain I think you need to get to more open space to you know send messages. though I could be wrong, you could have a super-genius slap shot engineer like that mac..whatever form the old vids" He says looking at his communicator and noting its ability to connect to the interstellar network.
Handsome Gob |
Handsome nods to Rover, "Yep, I believe you're right!"
Handsome takes one last look around and finding nothing else of value, says, "Welp, anyone want to steal... errr... reappropriate anything else here?"
I can't think of anything else for us to do here. I'm good to move on and get somewhere from which we can send a message out to Gevalarsk.
DR34-M12 |
"Is there anything left that isn't rotten or bolted down?" Dreamz asked as she begins another scan.
I'm good to strip this place and head out.
Xavier "Rover" Florin |
"Remind me to have Justin innoculate all of us for gods know what could be on this stuff, I mean rotting flesh and food, Lizard entrails, acid, and you know used cultist gear, that I am pretty sure had bodies that never heard the word soap"Rover says taking up a few things too, as the lower gravity made it easier for him.

Carrying your loot is easy enough in the low gravity of the astroid, and you are able to get back to the ship unbothered. The engines fire up once everyone in onboard and the ships flies away from the astroid.
Moments later warning lights and klaxon's begin blaring! The view screen comes up and shows 2 fighters speeding out of the darkness of a smaller astroid, weapons locked!!!

Both ships are Death's Curtain Necrofighters!
The Death’s Curtain Necrofighter is an innovation of the Corpse Fleet’s secret shipyards. A two-crew fighter, this sleek vessel is often piloted by a trained elebrian assisted by a ghoul or skeletal gunner. An integrated tactical computer—a rarity among Eoxian-designed ships—allows for the pilot to coordinate effectively with her gunner. The hull is derived from the Death’s Head Necroglider, but it does not have formal ties to the Eoxian manufacturer.
