"Drawings? Notes? There is so much to see and explore! The wind will get there before we do!"

Continue to next room, I suppose...

Strange Aeons - Map | Darkmoon Vale - Droskar's Crucible Level 1 | Droskar's Crucible Level 2

Sorry about my absence this past week. Work has been extremely busy to the point where my brain has been just about drained by the time I get a few moments to hop onto Paizo.

The soft light of the surrounding fungus mixes with the flickering glow of the nearby torches to reveal a grand chamber. A large pool of water along the chamber’s southern edge reflects the blue and green radiance to illuminate the massive stalactites that cling to the ceiling overhead. Two other tunnels branch off from this area, leading to the east and west. Rising up from the pool is a column of rock with steeply sloped sides and a flat top, as if someone had sawn off the top of a massive stalagmite. A miniature city carved from this same stone occupies nearly the entire surface. Tiny trinkets such as ancient coins, polished semiprecious stones, and ornately braided loops of string are scattered throughout the diorama, and pale cave frogs clamber atop it. The smooth cavern floor is covered in gravel and pebbles along the edge of the pool, and several foot-long centipedes prowl among the gravel in their search for prey. There is also a figure kneeling in the still waters... (Indicated by the "U" on the map.)

Knowledge: Engineering, Geography, History, Local, or Religion DC10:
You can clearly recognize the miniature city as a diorama of Absalom and the water surrounding it likely an imitation of the Inner Sea.

Ouch! Sune's check was rather brutal. Ummm... anyone else want to give it a go????? I'll allow you all a moment to digest the following before you make your next check if you want.

Juhnavi and Syllyn both notice that the gillman seems to be eyeing Syllyn's newly acquired cloak with great interest. Igor, Padesat, and Uslad all notice that the gillman's folded cloak nearby appears to be almost identical to the cloak Syllyn is wearing... The one found at the bottom of the pit.

GM Rolls:
Igor: 1d20 + 0 ⇒ (1) + 0 = 1

The gillman smiles when Syllyn offers him the cloak and gratefully accepts the gift. He initially looks at the sandwich from Igor with skepticism, but in the name of generosity he takes it with a grateful nod. He takes a tentative bit, but then immediately smiles and eats it completely. He then makes a noiseless chuckle as he leans down to rub the belly of the corgi. Through their combined efforts, the party has endeared themselves to the gillman oracle who appears quite Helpful now. He points back into the other room and makes a drawing motion in the air before pointing at the group and then at the miniature city.

When Juhnavi wraps her long scarf around the miniature city the group suddenly feels an empowerment overcome them, a warming embrace from the long dead god of humanity... (Everyone gains a one time use +1 bonus on a single flanked enemy within the next 24 hours!)

The altar does not react to Syllyn's silver piece; however, he and Igot notice small trinkets or designs made out of crude items one could easily locate within the cavern. It seems an offering of something made by hand would appease the Craftsman!

The others look around and find a large number of small, powdery pigmented stones along the shoreline of the small pool. You also notice some large centipedes that hunt along the edge of the pool and think they have similar features to the serpentine creature that the Hunter is depicted as slaying....
