"Should we kill him?" Glubby asks of the rest of his mates. "Probably best to kill him so he doesn't sneak up on us later when I'm busy stabbing the Captain's eyes out."

Patches considers Glub's suggestion for a moment with his normal inscrutable expression.

"In his condition, about the only thing he could do is bleed on someone. I say let him go back to the ship. It will show the crew we can be merciful."

Leaving Hinsin, Patches casts a spell of cat's grace and heads toward the door.


The Flaxseed Pathfinder Lodge

Past the door that Hinsin pointed out in the wall, you move into an even larger chamber. This immense hall is grand in both scale and design. The room and attached southern antechamber measure over a hundred feet long from north to south. A raised dais sits in the center of the hall, flanked by two thick stone columns inscribed with runes from floor to ceiling. Two alcoves in the western wall remain dark and empty, and the northeastern corner has partly collapsed, scattering large slabs of worked stone and piles of dense rubble across the floor. More runes, similar to those on the columns, cover the walls and floor.

Vancid Creed, the artillerist from the Magpie Princess, stands among the rubble in the northeast alcove. "Why ya sick undead f~~+ers! Bad dreams! Nightmares! Rotting flesh! In my head! Too much!" He screams as he starts mixing a few vials of noxious compounds....

Patches doesn't waste time with warnings. Clearly something's messed with the man's head, but that just provides a good excuse to take him down. Drawing his blade he leaps forward and slashes at the mad pirate.

Glubby leapfrogs over the stairs onto the dais and hops closer to the artillerist as he tries to snare the man in his masterwork net. "Where is the Captain? Her eyes need a good pokin'!" he bellows.

Entangled on hit; -2 penalty on attack rolls and a –4 penalty on Dexterity, can move at only half speed, and cannot charge or run. If you control the trailing rope by succeeding on an opposed Strength check while holding it, the entangled creature can move only within the limits that the rope allows. If the entangled creature attempts to cast a spell, it must make a concentration check with a DC of 15 + the spell's level or be unable to cast the spell. Glubby tangles the alchemist up in a net and Vancid stumbles backwards away from Harold and Ursion (technically can't take a 5' step so it's a move action, which I believe would provoke) and tosses his now-mixed vial at the two!

If it's a 10' radius, then if he only moves back 5' he's inside of it as well. Also, IIRC an alchemist's bombs only do full damage to the immediate target; the rest of the creatures in the AoE only take splash damage.

Oh, I guess you're right. I was misinterpreting the explosive bomb discovery, I thought he could hit the square behind you two and still do full damage in a 10' radius but that is wrong. So he threw a regular bomb at 1d2 ⇒ 1 Ursion for full damage and Harold can make a DC 16 Ref for half of 7 splash damage.

Shoallana offers her encouragement as Ursion works his blade past Glubby's net and into the crazed man's side!

Vancid moves away from Glubby's rapier but only babbles nonsense back at Glubby's question. Surrounded, he takes out an axe and swings at Glubby.

It does not take much more to take the man out then, as he is already very wounded.

Shoallana looks to the east and sees down the stairs to an octagonal room thirty feet across with a smooth domed ceiling twenty feet high. Each wall is set with a tall tarnished silver panel, as well as a dark mural of colored glass depicting an eye-each eye has a differently coloured iris. In the center of the room is a raised pedestal ten feet in diameter and three feet high. A thick layer of dust blankets the room.

The dust begins to stir as Shoallana looks on, though. Something begins to rise from the pedestal, a gleaming and colorful humanoid shape seemingly made of glass itself! A single glassy eye rests in the middle of its head and it hefts its feet forward to start climbing the stairs towards the undine singer!

The party readies for the cyclopean glass monster to come up the stairs, which it does. As it comes out of the doorway, Glubby stabs into and but only does a moderate amount of damage. The golem turns its anger upon the grippli and swings at him!

@EF: I forgot this because Unchained. "Debilitating Injury -Bewildered: The target becomes bewildered, taking a –2 penalty to AC. The target takes an additional –2 penalty to AC against all attacks made by the rogue." So it will apply for this round.

Glubby gets punted by the creature into the air, but he tries to come down on the creature with his rapier, realizing the beast is too big for his net. "I'm coming for that eye! Harry! Move on the other side of it!"
