Jennix was away for the weekend and Miso is probably still getting settled back in. I'm ready to go whenever you guys are though.
Yeah, remarkable how tired sitting around in a hospital can make you, when you aren't the one who's actually in the hospital for anything. My wife and I crashed early, slept late, and I almost missed my quasi-regular gaming group. Hell, needed to come back to work to get some rest. LOL

I totally goofed on my heal hex. I thought I'd hit everyone (but myself), but wanted to double-check since Jennix just took a monster hit. Turns out I didn't hit Jennix yet, but hit Miso twice. So... what do you think, EF? Should we retcon-swap that healing to Jennix?

Worth noting, magic items that grant armor bonuses can't be enchanted as armor (iirc).
I'm okay with mage armor currently, so go ahead and take the body suit.

Check yesterday store blog. 75%-90% off of stuff. I bought a bunch of modules @ 3.50 a piece. AP's are 5.00. I didn't even look at minis, maps, 3rd party, ect...
I couldn't even get at the site yesterday cos of all the traffic.
BTW, won't get leveled up until probably Saturday or Sunday.
At one time I actually owned all the campaign settings/chronicles, modules, APs, and player companions (mostly through massive purchases during sales like that where I picked them up cheap) but lately I've been trying to get rid of some of them. The APs I'm going to keep and most of the Player Companions and modules I think I'm going to sell and use the money to buy the PDF so I can just have them all on my tablet. But most of the old chronicles and campaign settings I hardly ever or never used so I'm just selling them outright.
Yeah, I'm only buying PDF now. My Nook HD is just way too convenient. Those things have killer battery life. And besides that, I know most of paizo's material well enough that I almost never have to reference anything. The ACG and tech stuff has really made me feel out of the loop though. I bought the ACG, but haven't had time to read anything besides Brawler (needed it for a PFS build that was struggling with monk).
I still have all the subscriptions and will keep all the AP books but I'm thinking of selling some of the others that I'm less impressed with (Bastards of Golarion, I'm looking at you!) because I still have the PDF if someday I decide to look through it again.
Speaking of which, I know they've have PDF sales in the past. Anyone know when they will do that again? Or is it kind of random like some of their other sales?

Someone would need to take the EWP (katana) feat to use it one-handed, but Jennix and Zachary are both proficient if they use it as a two-handed weapon.
Ah, is that how it works? I remembered it being an exotic weapon, but I'd forgotten about dual proficiency.
It would be something I would very rarely use, only if the bow wasn't an option.
I don't anticipate we'll even have possession of it beyond this dungeon, Zach. It's more of "does anyone want to test drive this cool sword before we give it back" than a long-term combat option.
Would have helped against those trolls, but those trolls weren't the ones giving us trouble.

Anyway, I'll carry the sword for now. Maybe I'll craft one of those elven thingies that makes you proficient in a weapon just so I can rock this plot-significant katana.

We fly out to Orlando this afternoon (my bride has a conference at the House of Mouse next week) and I know for certain I won't have time to do anything until at least Tuesday, if not later.
@Terflynn: Your banner still says level 5 and your profile still says level 4! Hopefully you've been leveled to 6 and just missed those, I know I've done that before.
Level 4 is definitely a mistake, but... yeah, I've not had time to level to 6 yet unfortunately. Nor update the loot sheet for that matter. But I've spent like $2000 on furnishing my new house, so that's pretty cool I guess.
Ha, yeah... New home ownership. I won't even mention what we'll be spending next week pouring new concrete and putting up a new garage....
By the way, we are only a few encounters away from finishing book 2 (which means chronicle sheets and leveling up!). I haven't read book 3 yet but hopefully it's a step up, as I honestly haven't been that impressed with book 2.

Well that was a bit of a scavenger hunt.
It seems according to James Jacobs, the Shatter Weapon ability of the caryatid column is only meant to apply to manufactured weapons, not unarmed strikes, natural attacks, or even monk unarmed strikes. I was not able to find an official ruling, however.

Probably isn't one, especially not from him — JJ is a big-picture guy, not a rules guy. (He is a great guy, though.)

Yeah, I would say it's meant only to work against manufactured weapons. Natural attacks should be fine.
