Yes, I know I'm buying yet more weapons and armor! I'm still tempted to buy a lance as well to be honest. This setup gets me to 21 AC with shield; a bit low for level 2 tank so some work still needs to be done. If I am needed as a scout instead I can do light armor and archery.

For Harmony's combat training, I currently have +4 with the level. If I get a skill song from Arisira can I automatically complete the training at DC15? Or should I still buy a skill item for 50gp to guarantee the training?

I suspect training an animal takes longer than Arisira has rounds of bard song. I can try and assist you but it isnt certain so you might be better off picking up a masterwork tool.

I'm so sorry for my lack of posting. We got a new pupper on Friday and she's taking a lot of time at home. It also coincides with a very busy time at work.

Heads up to one and all, I am in North Carolina and as of right now am in the path of the storm.

The irony of this is not lost on me.

I will probably be fine, but this may cause a not inconsiderable disruption in our play.

Your only real objective, in case you forgot, was to find the Mireborn stronghold and stop them from causing more of these storms and you found them!

I actually really like this section because there are several different ways the chapter can play out with the sandboxy nature, even though I do realize that the Sandbox tends to REALLY slow things down PbP.

No day job currently.

I will be changing animal companion at this level. I will train them with 4 tricks plus bonus tricks. I havent decided which I am going with, it is likely to either be the snake or ape.

I do have a rules question as views vary. What reach does a large sized constrictor companion gain? The animal companion stats do not list reach leaving the answer up in the air. Some say that because it isnt listed you dont get anything. Others look at the Bestiaries, their is only 1 large sized snake and it gains reach suggesting they do get 10' reach.

It doesnt change much but may affect what feats I take for the new companion.

I would say in terms of monster models that a snake is more "quadrupedal" than "bipedal" despite having 0 legs and as such the bite gains reach and any other theoretical natural attacks it might have like maybe a tail whip would not.
