The kitchen will add another 160gp:
Kitchen: 4 goods, 4 labor (160gp); Time 12 days, size 2-6 squares.
The whole thing will be 1,200gp, 68 days if I did my math right. Would require a bunch of influence, goods, and labor to get done. I haven't used the system much so am a little fuzzy on how that would work. If the GM just rules this will take money this is the book value.

![]() |

Wow that's a lot of work, but sounds awesome.
A nice tavern/Pathfinder lodge with a corner for Cayden Cailean. What could go wrong.

![]() |

Given that this is being paid for with a loan, I am basically waiving the cost as long as what you want follows the UC rules.
I do like the idea of you buying a home and transforming it into a bar

![]() |

Well in that case...

![]() |

Bunks: 7 goods, 4 influence, 7 labor (400gp); Time: 24 days, size 16-24 squares
Bar: 6 goods, 1 influence, 5 labor (250gp); Time: 16 days, size 10-20 squares
Common Room: 7 goods, 8 labor (300gp); Time: 16 days, size 10-30 squares
Kitchen: 4 goods, 4 labor (160gp); Time 12 days, size 2-6 squares.
Here it is all in one place. We can discuss the logistics onscreen again.

I've made a final tinker to my character, if that is fine. Everything going forward should be purely cosmetic (organizing the information) or related to gear or animals.
Let me know if this is not fine and I will change it back (swapped power attack out for quickdraw in). Since we haven't seen combat yet, I was second guessing how valuable PA will be until a few levels in.

Statblock and taglines are all updated. Sorry it took so long to get all of that straightened out!

![]() |

My daughter is graduating from College tomorrow and I am driving down for it. I will be gone this afternoon until friday evening. Apologies. Bot Xanko as appropriate.

![]() |

I’ll be away on and off for the next two weeks.
May 25-28 Paizocon
May 29-May 31 Regularly scheduled programming
June 1-June 5 on vacation.
It is incredibly unlikely that I’ll be able to post each day during the con and the vacation. Please don’t let me slow the games down, and feel free to bot me. I’ll check in as I can.
This game is on my high priority posting list.

![]() |

I will be away next week from Thursday to Sunday with limited ability to post.

![]() |

I too will be really spotty from friday through Monday night so I guess expect a little hiatus after the next couple days

![]() |

Agreed with all. I am looking forward to the development of these characters over the longer haul. Something I sorely miss in regular PFS pbp games.
Safe travels everyone who is moving about!

Another blindsides Antal as he had not previously seen it hiding there
BITE vs flatfooted: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (12) + 3 = 15 1d3 - 3 ⇒ (1) - 3 = -2
Not sure if I missed something, but Antal's flatfooted AC is 17.
It kills me to raise stuff like this, so figured I would just add it to the discussion page. Absolutely fine to let the damage stand and continue on. :)
Antal's eye twitches as he now anticipates all four centipedes will turn and pounce on him.

Question about posting frequency. Since we are in combat, and it is not my turn. It has been several days since I have posted, but going out of turn will cause confusion. Are we planning on running once a day or should I just expect that we are pretty relaxed on the pace.
No problem either way, just let me know so that I set my expectations!

![]() |

I agree. I felt like we were moving pretty consistently until the long weekend in the states, but the last 2 weeks (essentially this combat) feels pretty slow. I am happy to keep playing, and play at whatever pace people want.
My original plan was to restrict my number of games so that this game would get the majority of my focus- but I am also happy picking up some other PFS stuff if other players prefer this pace. Like Antal, I just want to set my expectations appropriately.

![]() |

This has been a rough week for me at work and the combat has been slowgoing based on that and turns not coming when I can respond to them.
I am planning to redouble my efforts and thanks for the patience.

![]() |

To be honest I do not mind the slower pace so in total I think that we are moving fine.

![]() |

I just realized that I took the "Eastern Mysteries" trait from the old Qadira faction (Organized play manual). I am now considering that it might not be allowed in Core. Since that faction doesn't exist anymore, can I still use it? If not, I will flip it out to something else. Sorry!

![]() |

I cant really check right now but if it's in a version of the RPG Guild guide that you have access to then its core.

![]() |

"You go first Antal. I agree with that decision." Xanko says as he waits his turn.
Hmm, this is an interesting point for discussion.
Looking back at what I wrote, I had put "Antal begins to climb the ladder". In retrospect, this seems like god-moding a bit, as the party hadn't yet agreed that this was what we wanted to do. I appreciate the way Xanko replied, and I didn't miss the point that I acted without agreement.
I can in the future instead write "Antal moves toward the ladder", which could let someone else jump in front or take some other action without having to contradict my post.
If there other tips for how to push action along without god-moding, please let me know. Fortunately, this situation seems pretty mild and hopefully no harm was done!

I am going to be in and out of internet this weekend. I'll try to post when I can, but it may not be until sunday evening. If anything needs botted, all of Arisira's DEX skills are -1 from what is listed.

![]() |

Heads up guy, I am going on a little trip to the beach this weekend to celebrate and mourn my 30th birthday with my wife.
So expect slow/no updates until Monday night.

![]() |

I am going to be off the grid for the next week. Limited internet and posting, but I should still get about one post a day. If needed, please few free to bot me to keep things moving!

![]() |

I am away from tomorrow until Thursday next week. I will do my best to post as I can.

![]() |

GM: FYI, I am planning on making some small tweaks (abilities scores, etc) for Arisira before she levels to 2. Once we get our first chronicle sheets Ill make those changes and give you a run down of what I changed.

![]() |

Thanks GM. Another one of those little rules that I thought I knew, but I guess I didn’t!

![]() |

Yup, I know them well because I like playing conjuration specialists where its suddenly pretty important.

![]() |

I can't actually post in gameplay thanks to mobile weirdness.
It was my recollection that Vera moved into that square this turn. You're right that I forgot to make her roll Acro.I definitely read the 'narrow ledges' rule as applying to when you move across grease, especially since they specifically call out that it doesn't apply when standing still.
If you're right and she made that movement last turn, then yeah obviously two of the attacks miss.
As for the other bit, you're right I forgot to move the lizardman back the 5 feet he needed to be moved back and that I described him moving back.
I don't really see where T'krit is providing soft cover either?

![]() |

For a while in combat I was getting the red marker (the person we were sent out to find) and the lizard shaman confused. I think that maybe Mak'da may have made the same observation. If red was casting, T'krit would have gotten an AoO.
I have also been under the impression is that if you use acrobatics to move through grease you are flat footed, while if you stay in place then you maintain you dex to AC.

![]() |

Touch attacks against flatfooted creatures are nasty (its why gunslingers and alchemists LOVE going first)
Touch Armor Class = 10 + Dex
If you loose your Dex bonus (aka, flat footed) your Touch AC becomes 10 + 0.

![]() |

Apologies for the slow posting. This has been mainly due to some extremely long work hours over the past weekend. This week should be better, and I am excited to level up!
I will be traveling next week, flying out on Saturday and returning the weekend after. I will do my best to check in during this time. Thanks for the understanding, and I continue to be invested in this story!

![]() |

I hit an immediate issue - do any of you want Day Job rolled?
In order to move things along I will still try to get chronicles issued soon and just edit them after

![]() |

One thing to keep in mind while leveling - you only have 4 Prestige so you're still limited to the always available gear (with the exceptions of Mak'da and Arisira I believe who weren't using 'fresh' characters)
That limits you to the items on the chronicles and the following items, just as an easy reference guide:
-All basic armor, gear, items, and weapons from Chapter 6 of the Pathfinder RPG Core Rulebook, including items for Small and Large characters. This does not include equipment made from dragonhide, but it does include equipment made from the other special materials, such as alchemical silver and cold iron (see the Special Materials section on page 154 of the Core Rulebook). All mundane weapons, armor, equipment, and alchemical gear found in any other source that is legal for play are considered always available, including masterwork quality versions where a cost is defined.
• +1 weapons (2,000 gp + 300 gp for the masterwork
weapon cost + item cost)
• +1 armor (1,000 gp + 150 gp for the masterwork armor
cost + item cost)
• +1 shields (1,000 gp + 150 gp for the masterwork armor cost +
item cost)
• Potions and oils of 0- or 1st-level spells at caster level 1st (50
gp or less)
• Scrolls of 0- or 1st-level spells at caster level 1st (50 gp or less)
• Wayfinder (at a 50% discount for 250 gp)
• All items purchased with Prestige Points.

![]() |

FYI: I am doing some minor tweaks with Arisira before level two (adjusting ability scores, reallocating skill points, and tweaking spell lists). It shouldn't change much about her other than improving her versatility a little bit.

![]() |

Yes you may Vera - we can assume that they just so happen to get in the supplies you would wish to buy.
