While perhaps not the most adept at it, Ana knew this game. Casually slipping the box into her bag, she said, "And someone can presume that they need not know what lies within the box?"
Jubrayl nods and smiles before taking a drink. "I think we'll get along just fine."

Lilla sees the interior of the inn decorated with several trophies and other adventuring souvenirs. A group of men in scuffed armor sit around a table, drinking and laughing. The Varisian sees Ameiko at the counter, checking in guests. Indeed, Ven was correct in that she is an attractive woman.
She waits a little bit until she isn't quite so busy before approaching, "Good afternoon, I was wondering if you might have any more rooms available?" She asks while looking around and admiring the decorations.
A garishly dressed half-elf walks into the Rusty Dragon and waits behind the Varisian woman at the counter. He toys with an ocarina hanging from his belt.
She kind of shrugs, "I don't know...this is my first time away from home...so I don't know how long I'll be staying for sure. It might be a good place to figure things out though, and it would be nice to have a place to come back to. Sure, why not?" She says, taking three gold out of her pouch and handing them to Ameiko.
She nods, "Yeah...mama thinks that letting me do this now will get it out of my system. I think...I think I just want to see and discover everything I can though...and some day I'd like to settle somewhere. I'm not interested in roaming all over the countryside with a caravan for the rest of my life...I'm not like them and I just...I just want to be me."

Having grown up in the hinterlands around Sandpoint, Xeni was somewhat familiar with the town. Though not quite what one would consider a local, she fell into the category of a somewhat familiar, if irregular face, with her occasional trips into the town, bringing rare or difficult to attain plants and herbs to the local apothecary. It is on one of these trips that she now finds herself in the midst of town, having made a bit of coin with her harvest and now in search of a place to spend the time before she chose to head back into the wilds.
Xeni sees the townsfolk erecting tents in front of the completed cathedral to peddle their wares during the Swallowtail Festival. She also notices a larger than usual influx of people into Sandpoint.
---
"I can understand that," Ameiko says. "Let me check in this young man before his feet fall asleep."
Almost forgetting that there were people behind her she blushes again, "Oh yeah...sorry. I get carried away sometimes. My name is Lilla by the way." She says before stepping aside and just having a look around the place to see what she can see.
The half-orcs seem to ignore Ana, but a portly peg-legged man comes to the end of the gangplank. He licks his lips as he appraises the ranger. "Whatcha after, lass? I'm not a picky man if yer after some coin."
She nods and gives him a smile before looking back at Ameiko, "Well...I guess I better take my stuff to my room so I don't have to carry it all over the place with me and then I guess I'll just have a look around and try to get used to where things are and such. I'm not really sure what else to do at the moment since everyone seems to be busy setting up for this festival."
The man rubs his hands together greedily as he gallops down the gangplank. The wood bows as he makes his way down. He pulls a greasy satchel from his belt. "Now, give it here."
---
"You could just take in the sights or sit and relax here for a bit," Ameiko suggests.
She scrunches up her nose a bit as she thinks about it for a moment, "Well...I have been walking for quite a while today. Maybe I will just put my stuff up, and then come back out here and just take it easy for a bit. I'll be back in a moment." She says with a smile before going to her room. Setting her stuff down and making sure to put her coin pouch in an inside pocket of her clothing, she goes back into the main room and finds a place to sit.
The captain hands the satchel to Ana while snatching the box away. He turns around and retreats up the gangplank. The satchel feels weighty enough and jingles.

Noting a large number of people, many of whom she was pretty sure she'd never seen before, and the influx of activity, the druidess takes a moment to get her bearings before heading in the direction of The Rusty Dragon. She was sure at least that much hadn't changed since she was last here.
Looking around and not sure if the half elf actually wanted company or not, Lilla goes and sits down at one of the empty tables near him. Listening to him play was relaxing in a different sort of way from watching her family perform. Sitting at the nearby table she closes her eyes and starts to relax as she listens to the soft sound of the ocarina.
She opens her eyes when she hears Ameiko call out a rather loud and happy sounding greeting to someone.
She shakes her head and gives him a smile, " Thank you, it's a shorter verson of my grandmother's name I think. I like talking to people too, it's okay. That's how we discover things, by talking to people."
She kind of shrugs a little, "I don't know....I guess it just depends on what happens. It seems like a nice town so far from what I've seen of it though."

Smiling warmly at the innkeeper, the druidess walks up to the bar, noting a number of new faces. "Yes, it has been......maybe 7 months. It is very busy today."
"It's the big festival today. They're going to consecrate the new cathedral tonight," Ameiko comments. "You know how big of a deal that is. I think it also attracts scumbags looking to prey on tourists, though."
Yup...we're just messing around right now....for the most part. Getting to know the area and stuff like that. Buying things that I need before the crowds show up.

Given that we're a small group san might be needing for healing/potions stuff like that, what do you think of this?
Druidic Herbalism Nature Bond Variant (Optional)
Source PZO9446:
Druidic herbalism is a nature bond option that can be taken by any druid at 1st level except those with archetypes or alternate class features that alter or replace nature bond or mandate a specific nature bond choice.
Instead of granting access to a domain or an animal companion, a druid’s bond with nature can take a third form: access to druidic herbalism.
A druid who chooses to learn druidic herbalism can use combinations of nuts, berries, dried herbs, and other natural ingredients along with appropriate containers to create herbal concoctions or magic consumables that function like potions. This acts like the Brew Potion feat, but only for spells on the druid spell list. Herbal concoctions are typically thick and sludgy, and their creation time, caster level, spell duplication capabilities, and all other variables and properties are identical to those of potions created using Brew Potion. Herbal concoctions created with herbs that cause special effects when ingested retain those effects as well as the appropriate spell effect.
A druid can create a number of free herbal concoctions per day equal to her Wisdom modifier. Additional concoctions cost the same as creating an equivalent potion using Brew Potion. Druids can sell their herbal concoctions just as if they were potions (though NPCs unfamiliar with druidic herbalism may need some convincing before purchasing these wares).
At 4th level, a druid’s increasing skill with herbalism means that she can disguise the effects of her herbal concoctions. When a creature attempts a Perception or Spellcraft check to identify one of the druid’s concoctions, the concoction appears to be a different herbal concoction of the druid’s choice unless the creature exceeds the identification DC by 5 or more. The druid must designate this false result when creating the concoction. If a creature exceeds the identification DC by 5 or more, it correctly identifies the concoction, though not that the druid tried to fool it.
Additionally, at 4th level, when the druid creates additional concoctions, she need pay only half the normal cost to create them. It takes her only half the normal time to create her concoctions, and she can create concoctions of spells from any spell list, as long as she can cast the spell.
At 7th level, when the druid creates concoctions with potential false identification results, a creature attempting to identify the concoction must exceed the identification DC by 10 or more to determine the concoction’s true identity.
Additionally, at 7th level, a druid can create any herbal concoction in 1 minute. She can also create a special concoction of any spell higher than 3rd level that she can cast, but to do so, she must expend a spell slot of the same level. These special concoctions do not cost her anything to create and function like extracts created by an alchemist with the infusion discovery.
Sorry...I'll try to be quiet for a bit then. Tryi g to help Henry with his poor hurting swollen foot. Just finished soaking in a warm Epsom salt bath, now gonna rub cream on it.
It's a full week and he doesn't get off till a little after 5, when most dr offices are closed....and besides, we don't have any insurance now and he won't have any until August.
It's just the top of his foot that's swollen and painful and we have no idea how it happened. His mom was thinking it was cellulitis....but there's no rash and it doesn't leave an indention when you press on it with your fingers....It makes it painful for him to walk even though he can still move his toes...I don't know...I'm worried about it.
I know right? Stupid slut. So, like the rest of you can tell that Lilla is serious, but her whole 5'6" and 100lb soaking wet appearance isn't doing much for her unmentioned threat.
I don't remember exactly how far back it was, I just know that I had already heard stories about her less than virtuous behavior. She is a woman of ill repute. Lol
Tell that to my Half-Drow Fighter that didn't have the slightest clue.
LOL....it's soooo funny...but no, that will NOT be happening to Bairn because I fully intend on putting a stop to her in her tracks.
As soon as we get back from whatever it is we're currently doing, I am going to Ven and asking him about these "rats". I am simply going to tell him that his daughter told us that there were rats in the basement that they needed help with him and ask him if that is truly the case. I'm just going to be straighforward, honest, and direct with him.
She can keep coming as much as she likes, she's not getting none of what she wants. I can guarantee it!
So there's a scenario that, personally, I'd like to change. It's not important to the AP, but one of those side missions. I know some folk that like it "by the book", so I wanted to get y'alls thoughts on the matter.
Oh, I'm sorry honey. With everything going on I kind of forgot about this one. It's not that I'm not interested, there's just a lot of other stuff going on. Here at home, in the other games....trying to keep up with everything has gotten a little....tedious.
I also feel like this is just one more thing for some of us who are really dealing with a lot of other stuff right now. I don't want anyone feeling overwhelmed.
