Her eyes get a little large as they enter the Rusty Dragon, "Wow...there sure is a lot more people now than there was earlier. Maybe we should wait till after the consecration ceremony this evening to share this with Ameiko?"
"Let me go put this up in my room, then we can go do whatever you want until the consecration ceremony this evening." Lilla says before heading upstairs to put away the pie until later.
Making sure she has whatever she needs on her, and that her weapon is securely fastened to her belt she heads back downstairs to Xeni and Bairn. "Okay, I'm ready."
As the three of them go around the festival in town, she looks at the different games and vendors selling things. She oohhs and aahhs at some things but doesn't really see anything interesting enough to buy. The games don't really interest her since she's so used to seeing them in the places that she traveled with her family. Some of the food smelled really good, but she was still full from lunch. She is just happy and content to walk around with Bairn and Xeni.

Xani enjoys walking around the town, noting the differences since she was last here, and the trappings of the festival. It was quite a departure from her normal existence, quiet aside from the sounds of the forest, where she could go days without saying a word aloud. As different as it was, it was definitely enjoyable.
As the sun begins to set, you all gather at the cathedral square. You see Father Zantus taking the stage. He throws a thunderstone to the ground to get everyone's attention, the sharp crack overtaking the excited chatter of the crowd.
A stray dog which had crawled under a wagon to sleep raises its head at the sound. The crowd begins to hush and Father Zantus opens his mouth to speak. But, before he can, a woman's scream pierces the momentary silence, followed by another and then another. After the screams, high pitched, tittering shrieks begin to rise.
The crowd parts and something small races by, giggling with inhuman glee as the stray dog lets out a pained yelp and then collapses to the ground, blood pouring from a ragged cut across its neck. A sinister chant begins to fill the air...
"Goblins chew and goblins bite.
Goblins cut and goblins fight.
Stab the dog and cut the horse,
Goblins eat and take by force!
Goblins race and goblins jump
Goblins slash and goblins bump.
Burn the skin and mash the head,
Goblins here and you be dead!
Chase the baby, catch the pup.
Bonk the head to shut it up.
Bones be cracked, flesh be stewed,
We be goblins! You be food!"
DC 12 Perception check:
The small shape that raced by is a goblin, licking the blood from its blade. It scans the crowd excitedly for a new target.
As soon as Ana heard the scream she began to look around. Then she saw the little beasts and heard their song. So this is where they were heading. She realized as her hand went for her axe and charged forward.
Seeing the other woman that was fighting the goblins take another slice from the little green menace she moves into a position between the table and the goblin to try and give it a different target.
Lilla moves around to behind the gobblin and attacks it with her rapier.

Looking across the table at Bairn she says, "Stay back, we can handle this last one." Noticing how badly cut he is, she hopes that together, all of them can put a quick end to this last gobblin.

Finding difficulty hitting the goblins without endangering her new friends, and seeing Bairn badly wounded, Xeni races forward, her bow gripped in one hand as the other takes on a wooden thorny appearance as she charges up to throw a punch at the vicious little monster.
She shakes her head, "The little bugger just got a lucky shot in is all. We just need to get you healed a little more and then we need to help the rest of these people. I won't let them hurt innocents."

Uttering a chant in the druidic tongue, Xeni touches the ground, a small bush swiftly growing and flourishing a number of berries. Picking them, she hands them to Bairn. "Here, eat these. It should help.
She gives Xeni a smile, "Thanks Xeni, maybe you'd like to come adventuring with us too? You can still talk to the plants and animals and stuff, but you'll have us to talk to too so you don't get lonely."
Looking over at the half orc she says, "You're pretty good at dealing with the little gobbers. If we all team up together we could probably take out more of them. I'm better when I'm fighting alongside others." She gives the other woman a smile before looking towards where she saw the gobblins chasing the children and dogs, "We need to hurry though."
She looks after the other woman with a surprised look on her face. She didn't realize she was a Varisian. In fact...she didn't think she had ever seen a half orc Varisian before. Shaking her head she looks at Xeni and Bairn, "Okay, so she's chasing off after the little buggers. Are you okay to go on Bairn, or do we need to try and heal you up a little more. If she tries to take them all on by herself though she's gonna be in trouble. I wish she would have waited long enough to make sure you were okay. Some people are just so impatient."

"I can handle the water part." Xeni says as they run toward the wagon. Chanting rapidly in druidic, gestures towards the flames as water coalesces above the wagon to cascade down into the fire.

Yup...we're just messing around right now....for the most part. Getting to know the area and stuff like that. Buying things that I need before the crowds show up.

Given that we're a small group san might be needing for healing/potions stuff like that, what do you think of this?
Druidic Herbalism Nature Bond Variant (Optional)
Source PZO9446:
Druidic herbalism is a nature bond option that can be taken by any druid at 1st level except those with archetypes or alternate class features that alter or replace nature bond or mandate a specific nature bond choice.
Instead of granting access to a domain or an animal companion, a druid’s bond with nature can take a third form: access to druidic herbalism.
A druid who chooses to learn druidic herbalism can use combinations of nuts, berries, dried herbs, and other natural ingredients along with appropriate containers to create herbal concoctions or magic consumables that function like potions. This acts like the Brew Potion feat, but only for spells on the druid spell list. Herbal concoctions are typically thick and sludgy, and their creation time, caster level, spell duplication capabilities, and all other variables and properties are identical to those of potions created using Brew Potion. Herbal concoctions created with herbs that cause special effects when ingested retain those effects as well as the appropriate spell effect.
A druid can create a number of free herbal concoctions per day equal to her Wisdom modifier. Additional concoctions cost the same as creating an equivalent potion using Brew Potion. Druids can sell their herbal concoctions just as if they were potions (though NPCs unfamiliar with druidic herbalism may need some convincing before purchasing these wares).
At 4th level, a druid’s increasing skill with herbalism means that she can disguise the effects of her herbal concoctions. When a creature attempts a Perception or Spellcraft check to identify one of the druid’s concoctions, the concoction appears to be a different herbal concoction of the druid’s choice unless the creature exceeds the identification DC by 5 or more. The druid must designate this false result when creating the concoction. If a creature exceeds the identification DC by 5 or more, it correctly identifies the concoction, though not that the druid tried to fool it.
Additionally, at 4th level, when the druid creates additional concoctions, she need pay only half the normal cost to create them. It takes her only half the normal time to create her concoctions, and she can create concoctions of spells from any spell list, as long as she can cast the spell.
At 7th level, when the druid creates concoctions with potential false identification results, a creature attempting to identify the concoction must exceed the identification DC by 10 or more to determine the concoction’s true identity.
Additionally, at 7th level, a druid can create any herbal concoction in 1 minute. She can also create a special concoction of any spell higher than 3rd level that she can cast, but to do so, she must expend a spell slot of the same level. These special concoctions do not cost her anything to create and function like extracts created by an alchemist with the infusion discovery.
Sorry...I'll try to be quiet for a bit then. Tryi g to help Henry with his poor hurting swollen foot. Just finished soaking in a warm Epsom salt bath, now gonna rub cream on it.
It's a full week and he doesn't get off till a little after 5, when most dr offices are closed....and besides, we don't have any insurance now and he won't have any until August.
It's just the top of his foot that's swollen and painful and we have no idea how it happened. His mom was thinking it was cellulitis....but there's no rash and it doesn't leave an indention when you press on it with your fingers....It makes it painful for him to walk even though he can still move his toes...I don't know...I'm worried about it.
I know right? Stupid slut. So, like the rest of you can tell that Lilla is serious, but her whole 5'6" and 100lb soaking wet appearance isn't doing much for her unmentioned threat.
I don't remember exactly how far back it was, I just know that I had already heard stories about her less than virtuous behavior. She is a woman of ill repute. Lol
Tell that to my Half-Drow Fighter that didn't have the slightest clue.
LOL....it's soooo funny...but no, that will NOT be happening to Bairn because I fully intend on putting a stop to her in her tracks.
As soon as we get back from whatever it is we're currently doing, I am going to Ven and asking him about these "rats". I am simply going to tell him that his daughter told us that there were rats in the basement that they needed help with him and ask him if that is truly the case. I'm just going to be straighforward, honest, and direct with him.
She can keep coming as much as she likes, she's not getting none of what she wants. I can guarantee it!
So there's a scenario that, personally, I'd like to change. It's not important to the AP, but one of those side missions. I know some folk that like it "by the book", so I wanted to get y'alls thoughts on the matter.
Oh, I'm sorry honey. With everything going on I kind of forgot about this one. It's not that I'm not interested, there's just a lot of other stuff going on. Here at home, in the other games....trying to keep up with everything has gotten a little....tedious.
I also feel like this is just one more thing for some of us who are really dealing with a lot of other stuff right now. I don't want anyone feeling overwhelmed.
