So you have to actually be able to succeed on the roll on your own to be able to aid another? You know, I did not know that. I just figured all you had to do is hit a 10. *shrug* That is interesting.
From general rules on skills: "In cases where the skill restricts who can achieve certain results, such as trying to open a lock using Disable Device, you can’t aid another to grant a bonus to a task that your character couldn’t achieve alone. The GM might impose further restrictions to aiding another on a case-by-case basis as well."
Though I suppose the wording is a little weird. What does "In cases where the skill restricts who can achieve certain results" mean? Trained only skills? I tend to just go by the "couldn't achieve alone" clause since I know what that means.

Hmm apparently the forums consensus, from a little reading, is that it doesn't refer to how high the DC is but whether or not a character is eligible to try at all. In that case, I'll roll my aid attempt.
Since we all failed miserably would taking 10 be an option? If possible and we all took 10, then Lazar could make that roll with the multiple aid anothers.

Well you definitely cant take 10 on aid. That's spelled out directly.
Something else I didn't know. But for the most part in my games aid another does rarely come up so I just don't deal with it that often.

I would definitely roll again too. Idk if this is the kind of thing one can only attempt once as it represents the sum total of one's ability or not. At the very least, Cedric can probably make his own attempt, possibly with new aids.
Funny enough, Cedric has a lower modifier than Lazar. But I will say when I play a cleric, I very rarely put ranks in heal myself. It just almost seems pointless due to the fact that I'm running a cleric with healing magic.

I've got to clarify something I posted, like, forever ago. It was pertaining to the question of how things are faring in our neck of the woods when it comes to Covid.
I said I hated getting food 'to-go'. I actually don't have a problem getting food to go. But I do absolutely ABHOR going through the drive thru to have to get it. Man I just hate those. I'd rather go inside and get it and leave than go through the drive thru.
The ONLY place I don't have a problem with it is Chik-Fil-A. Man those people are well-oiled machine! I'll literally be about 15 cars back and it won't be 5 to 7 minutes before I've gotten my food and gone. It's just fantastically amazing. Nobody can touch those cats, they got this thing down to an art form.
Just wanted to clear that up. Mainly for me because it's been nagging me. :)
