Gadren |

I'll hold onto it for now but if we come across something only magic can hurt he'll hand it out. He's actually able to do something in melee if it comes to it.

Maria Vaduva |

Question: What do we do with loot claimed by Phaedra or Mishtes? It just walked off into the sunset with them? Fine with me but I just wanted to make sure before I delete it forever.
Loot sheet is more updated and organized. I've claimed what I want and added all my loot onto there as it's easier for me to track all in one place. If there's something you want, claim it and move it into your column. I'll sell all unclaimed loot tomorrow. Sound good?
Gadren, if you would be so kind to go ahead and make that belt of strength. Did we agree on 2400 gp, so a tip for you worth 10% of market value?

Lazar Dobrescu |

I'm not sure if I understand the new loot sheet properly xD Anyway, Lazar just wants to sell the magic arrows and purchase an ecnhantment for his bow. If no one wants the Mithral Chain Shirt, then well...

GM_DBH |

Neither Mishtes or Phadaedra had much in the way of loot.
Mishtes will leave the Loppers axe (+1 Handaxe, + 1d6 on flaming skulls and other beheaded) and the Rope of climbing for the party though.
I don't think anyone wants a MW silver rapier, or a MW Breastplate do they?
Gadren, this book is fine. It's basically the setup stage where you gather information and leads on whoever killed Professor Lorrimor and took the Wardens spirit from Harrowstone.

Maria Vaduva |

Gotcha. Added Mishtes' loot to the unclaimed section.
Lazar, you just cut something out of the unclaimed loot column and paste it into your loot column. I did this for the +1 mithral shirt for you.

Lazar Dobrescu |

Alright, thank you :) Now, about ordering other items?

Maria Vaduva |

Yeah you can just order things. But we've got tons of stuff to sell. I'm ready to fire off and sell everything unclaimed if the party is ready for that.
I did add some gold to everyone's inventories on the lootsheet from loose change I got rid of.

Lazar Dobrescu |

Added the special arrows, my old leather armor and my old thieve's tools set to the unclaimed loot so we can sell it. When we divide the loot, I'll ask somewhere for a weapon enhancement.
Apart from that, Lazar is now a 5th level Inquisitor, and is ready to go.

Cedric Rydell |

I will be saving up for the phylactery of positive channeling haha. it would be 5.5k if crafted by our dear gadren. and give my channels a boost of 2d6!
also, I don't see alot of loot on the loot sheet, is it not loading for me or did we get rid of stuff already?

Maria Vaduva |

You might be seeing the old sheet, which is the second sheet. Try to make sure you see the new sheet.
So I go ahead and sell off everything we don't want?
And 5th level inq is awesome, Lazar. Gonna be fun watching you bane all over the place.

Cedric Rydell |

are we going to form a party pot for funds, or are we going to split the money up 6 ways (one for each plus a small party pot)?
I'm also always wary of selling "Bane" weapons given to you via the AP, usually it will come in handy at some point. Though it does have a good selling price.

Maria Vaduva |

I was thinking we would just split things individually then combine funds when necessary. But I'm ok with any scheme.
I'm ok with holding onto bane weapons if we want but I think we should only do that when the weapon is of a type one of us would actually use. So a dagger not so much.

Gadren |

Gadren is crafting for 60% buying cost... the phylactery sounds great and he'd do it for cheaper than that but he can't... "creator must be a 10th-level cleric". If there's an appropriate moment when you're near the amount of gold needed and we can but one I'd gladly contribute towards one of them however given the campaign.

Lazar Dobrescu |

I'm not sure xD Did we reach an agreement on what are we going to sell? Is everybody set on what they want? Crafting is nice, but I'm afraid we don't have that time, unless otherwise confirmed.
As stated several times above, if there's money enough I'll enchant the bow. 2k or 3k, depending on availability and cash.

Maria Vaduva |

Ok I'll sell everything and distribute gold to get us moving.
I might make a couple executive decisions to give something to certain players but if they don't want it we'll just sell it later.

Gadren |

I should claim that moldy spell book until I am sure I've got all the spells. Not sure how to move it column wise so to speak bar just deleting and writing it again to be honest.

Maria Vaduva |

GM, do we know what these syringes of necromantic alchemical elixir do or are worth?
What about the value of the collection of holy symbols we got in the prison?

Maria Vaduva |

Have sold all the stuff that didn't seem useful. Gave Gadren the moldy spellbook, Lazar the rope of climbing and mwk thieves' tools, and Cedric the tusk scroll. I've also added everyone's full inventories to the sheet and deleted the old sheet. I strongly suggest we stick with the one sheet for loot tracking.
Gadren, I subtracted my 2400 gp and gave you 400 gp for the crafting job.
Ryder, I'll include you in all loot distributions from here on out since you're a party member now. Unless you didn't start with appropriate wbl? Then we can pitch in to catch you up.

Gadren |

Ah I wasn't sure if it was doing calculations or anything
Well the +1 Keen Longsword has a sell value of 4,000. Only fair if Gadren covers that.
He has the following trait
"Hedge Magician
You apprenticed for a time to an artisan who often built magic items, and he taught you many handy shortcuts and cost-saving techniques.
Benefit: Whenever you craft a magic item, you reduce the required gp cost to make the item by 5%."
So he'd normally be getting 1,900gp.
7,482- the 400gp Maria gave him means he has 7,082 (looks like I missed times we missed loot!)
Refund Maria the Money she was giving him 7,082-1,900gp=5,192gp should be Gadren's new wealth since he'd cover the cost of the belt. He'd still owe Maria 1,600gp which we can earmark for the headband of Charisma, when the time comes she can give him 800gp. I wanted the sword for RP reasons but it's not fair to leave Maria out of pocket.
I think this is a more reasonable way than Gadren getting a magic sword AND money off Maria.

Maria Vaduva |

Not sure I understand how you're using some of the numbers. So Gadren would be paying Maria 3500 gp total for the sword? I don't think that's quite necessary. I didn't really want it that much and it belonged to the party, really. How about 2 k and we call it square? Yeah I'll be wanting that headband of charisma soon. Yummy!

Maria Vaduva |

Well Maria would probably destroy them then as they are both valueless and only used for nefarious purposes, no? But yes they should definitely be included as evidence.

Cedric Rydell |

what maria doesn't know... haha

Gadren |

Gadren might suggest a compromise, it wouldn't have any in game effect but he might study the elixirs. Maria wont like it but he'd be interested in seeing if it could be part of a way to reverse an undead state... with many years of fruitless research involved.

Maria Vaduva |

Cool! Let's discuss it in character. Maria's done shopping. Just wanted to sell stuff then the two things I want right now will be crafted anyway.

Lazar Dobrescu |

How available is to enchant the longbow for being +1 Adaptive, GM?
Also, to Gadren, once your queue is done, I might want to hire your services as a crafter :P

GM_DBH |

@Lazar. It's easy to get your Longbow made +1 & Adaptive in Lepidstadt. Being a University town it has a lot of Wizards about, and they need to make some gold themselves. :)
Let me know when everyone has completed their shopping and book keeping. I'll start the next part tomorrow while you're trying to lie to Maria. :)

Maria Vaduva |

A heads up, due to a vacation, I will be sporadic at best from March 25th until April 5th. I'll post as able but it will almost certainly be far less than normal.

Gadren |

Eight hours for a days crafting. He needs three days.
I've seen some people use the keep watch spell to try to craft while everyone else is sleeping. But I'd like GM approval on this. Keep Watch

Gadren |

You still get capped at eight hours of work in a twenty four hour period but it helps when you've got some adventuring to do. I'll swap out Ears of the City for Keep Watch on the prepared list if that's ok.

My personal favourites are Alhambra and Victoria from the South, and Estrella Galicia from the North.
