@Arielle. Melee & Divine are covered. Robert is doing a Wizard. Really only Trapfinding is light at the moment. That is something that can be covered by a number of classes I've found. With one level of Rogue Bards, Alchemists, Kineticists & Occultists all have the skills to cover it.
Which is probably one reason the pure Rogue, even unchained is one of the least popular classes to play these days?
@Cedric. As I said I took trapfinding as the 2nd level talent, after that it was Ranger combat feats - Archery for my Slayer. Worked very well, felt to me more like a Ranger with some Rogue skills.
Cedric Rydell
Idk, the slayer seems to "bounty hunter" to me. Just me though I suppose.
I also enjoy the unchained rogue, but, with the ease of access of dex to damage, their weapon training doesn't do much be free up 2 feats, and, beyond that, their rogue tricks for combat got nerfed save powerful sneak, which I think is pretty good now. (unless you allow the old rogue tricks, such as offensive defensive, which gave you +1 dodge ac for every sneak attack die)
Then, you look at the ninja, and if you give the ninja weapon training, it becomes a lot more appealing than rogue, as you can GO INVISIBLE, AND get an extra attack through ki. still I prefer and enjoy the unrogue.

This is my Inquisitor. Now, if someone else wants to be good a traps, we can either share or I can drop the Ranger level I took explicitly for that and center around Inquisitor. If, on the other hand, someone else wants to be an inquisitor, I could center around trapfinding and probably turn Lazar into a Slayer.
If both traps and Inquisitors are to be used by anyone else, I can do any other thing, which won't matter what it is because all roles would be covered, I guess.
Mishtes
Mishtes will probably have much the same approach.
With luck, his staggering strike ability should provide some tactical advantage against bad guys.
I also like using a pole arm, like the bardiche, to get in a good hit or two from a distance.
Still not too good at finding traps.
Except maybe probing ahead with the bardiche.
Pole arms are often good to set off traps from a distance.
Mishtes
@Mishtes- You're speaking of reach. Are you going to cast long arm on yourself and take the abberant bloodline? 20 ft reach all the time. :O We could make a pretty awesome front-line duo.
Not exactly; I was planing on taking the Undead bloodline power of Ghost Strike at 4th level. Mostly because I have a hunch we might be up against incorporeal nasties soon enough.
Now that you mention it, though, the Long Arm spell would be handy.
... and speaking of horses ...
I think I'll just make do with a donkey. A bit slow, but very cheap.
And wearing armour drops my ride skill rather a lot.
I've got enough cash to buy a donkey and some stuff for it.
I just need to update my sometime tomorrow profile for that.

I already had a heavy combat trained horse with leather barding for my wizard before the conversation came up. Going with a more militant bent than normal, he's running around with a longsword and all.
Gadren grew up in a small village in the Shrikewood province of Molthune. He was identified as an individual with arcane potential by his grandfather and became apprenticed to him. Gadren entered military service though this has mostly been in his home province he has served time in other areas including against the various rebel forces of the Fangwood Forrest.
Gadren has married once but his wife died in child birth, giving birth to their one and only son. Marcus did not show the same arcane aptitudes as his father but became a soldier in service to Molthune as a scout.
Most of his career hasn’t been too challenging, kobolds, mites and bandits comprising of the most common foes he has gone up against which are far easier as part of a disciplined military unit. During a brief period he was seconded to a Molthuni military vessel plying lake Encarthan he met the Professor as the ship he was aboard was under attack by pirates.
Gadren enjoyed his time with another academic while they gave him a lift back to a Molthuni port so he could get transport the rest of the way. The two have kept in contact over the years since with letters.
Only retired from his life in the military three years four months ago his son died fighting against rebel forces in the Fangwood. Now his old friend has passed. Gadren is feeling very tired these days but is making the journey north across Lake Encarthan. Looking towards the center of the lake he half imagines he can see the isle of terror, a stark reminder that he will be entering lands still under the shadow of the Whispering Tyrant in many ways.
Motivations:
-Pay his respects to the departed Professor Loremor
-Acquire arcane power
-Acquiring knowledge, particularly regarding languages as he loves linguistics
Personality
-Jovial
-Dutiful
-Brave but some might call it arrogance
-Calculating
Maria Vaduva
Maria probably won't buy a horse as she has no extra skill points for ride, at least for a bit. Maybe will get a horse in a bit.
@Mishtes: Ah that makes sense. Also, I was wrong about the aberrant bloodline reach helping anyhow. You also eyeing enlarge person? You can threaten the majority of the battlefield for anyone who's not taking a 5-foot step and I can shut those down when they're adjacent to me. Whichever way you go with it, we're going to have a lot of fun up front.
Mishtes
@ Marla: Mishtes will have to wait until level 4 to be able to cast Enlarge Person himself.
That and Phantom Blood, which can be a real life saver for a bloodrager!
You're right; a Paladin fighting alongside a Bloodrager will be interesting!
@GM_DBH: I've updated my profile to reflect Mishtes' new donkey for carrying stuff on the road.
And I've given said donkey an extremely tough and butch name: Daisy!
Just because! :D

I'll get the campaign started and linked in 2 days time. I'm on GMT +12 for those wondering about my posting times.
Can everyone finalize their characters and put them up here so I can do the last minute checks please.
So far I can see:
rorek55 - Cedric Rydell - Aasimar Male Cleric 2.
Jereru - Lazar Dobrescu - Human Male Ranger(trapper)1/Inquisitor 1.
Xunal - Mishtes - Human Male Crossblooded Bloodrager 2.
Caster4life - Maria Vaduva - Female Human Paladin (Undead scourge) 2.
Joy - Phaedra Alexandria Covington - Female Human Bard (Archivist) 2.
Kevin O'Rourke 440 - Magistar Gadren - Male Human Wizard (Spellsage) 2.
Lots of Humans there, I've looked through the players guide and its advice on races again. Changlings and Dhampirs face the most distrust, other races are rare but not unheard of. If anyone does want to change race I'm happy with it.

Ok the campaign has been started. You should be able to go to gameplay and discussion from this page.
If you can't? Here is the link GM_DBH's Carrion crown
The book drops you straight into the adventure with no setup, but I'm giving you a chance to introduce yourselves to each other. Mishtes & Maria both took the Chance savior trait, so could already know each other.
I'll kick off the more formal action tomorrow, have fun and welcome aboard.
