@DBH: what a superb match last saturday! Sorry that the end was a bit controversial, you might have seen your 'canes fighting for the title. Against Jaguares, none else! Who would have thought?
To be honest I was surprised at how far the Cane's got in the end. Plus they nearly beat the Sadists. In the end some calls go your way, some don't.
As for the Jaguares they have earned their place, they've been slowly improving over the last few seasons and this year it all came into place.
I'm looking forward to the final, kind of hoping the Jaguares take it honestly. New Zealand teams dominating is good for local pride, but not so good for the competition.
Per this nested discussion with Gadren I'm going to give him my 1000 gp for crafting the headband, which I will now mark myself as possessing.

That said, Maria has a decent bit of gold and would love to spend some on a magic weapon. Anyone planning to take craft magic arms and armor any time soon or should I just buy stuff the straight way? I'm very happy to stick with our 10% of market price bonus for crafter system.
I think this exchanges between Maria and Jack are quite fun, and add some smiles to the otherwise gloomy environment of the campaign (which only means the GM is doing his job properly, I guess, or at least that is what I was expecting from a campaign in Ustalav).

When Jack laughs it's because "I'm" laughing. I got a total kick out of Gadren's and Maria's responses. I think they were perfect. And just so I'm clear, Jack's response was totally suppose to be in an "just joking" type way.
Not exactly sure how to explain it word wise. You know, one of those: "Ugh. I'm wooooounded! How can I ever recover from an obvious dagger to the core of my being?!" type thing and ending that with a *smile and a wink, wink*.
Truly he's just poking a bit of fun, that's ultimately the gist of it. Why he's stupidly decided to choose Maria, well, that's a good question. For a "smart" guy he's not the brightest burnt out light bulb in the pack. I guess he likes living dangerously. ;)

I would get Craft Magic Arms and Armour Maria but you get bottlenecked with crafting time in more adventure paths so I'll have to pass. Maybe Cedric is considering it for level seven.

Yeah I'm definitely heading that way asap. Thought about it initially but whatever I would've done, I would've been able to do nothing but get there at best. And that was an annoying thought. So I figured I should attempt to make some sort of difference and at least try and help kill the green one. I figured if things went somewhat well, we might, at the very least, knock Green down in one round.
And I'd guess that 20 of yours hits so hopefully that 17 damage is enough to at least incapacitate it for a round.

Jack, a thought, what if we took outflank as our level 7 feats? You like flanking, have good acrobatics, and Maria would be willing to occasionally provoke AoOs to get into flanking position. We could then proceed to murder big bosses, especially since we both are crit-fishing. We could consider taking precise strike at some point too.
Heck yeah! I'll tell you, overall, I'm not a huge fan of teamwork feats, but Outflank is freaking fantastic!

Inquisitors are the bees knees of teamwork feats. It's hard, though, being the only archer in the party. If there were several archers, volley fire would be amazing. If you were melee with us, you could have fun doing anything.

Jack could always take the butterfly sting feat haha. (in other words, when he crits, he can make Maria crit instead).
