Enora's cantrip and, particularly, Jivan's punishing penny connect soundly and the awful creature is sent sprawling out on the floor!

Heilsteinn makes his way over to his envenomed companions, pulling out his healer's kit on the way.
He starts with Jivan...
Heal check to treat poison, DC = save of poison:1d20 + 6 ⇒ (19) + 6 = 25

Success = +4 competence bonus for their saves vs. poison. Hopefully Naruhito won't need that help.
Untir sighs as he releases the spirits back into his body. He quickly sprints to the sides of Jivan and Naruhito. He lays his hands on them, willing the poison to burn out from their systems.

First gnome we encountered, the irresponsible - er, older one - gave potions which neutralize poison, you should drink until better.
The oread cleric then reluctantly checks over the gnome to make sure that their issues are entirely damage and not also poison-related.
Heal check to diagonose:1d20 + 6 ⇒ (16) + 6 = 22
It's actually 2 consecutive saves..., so it's been Con Damage:2d3 ⇒ (3, 2) = 5 5 more. Do you want to keep going with saves?
It looks as though Dijjit has been very slowly poisoned my Marigana - perhaps that's how she turns things into the undead?
She might make it back to Ignizi without the potion, but it would certainly require care. Heal checks - at least one before Untir regained his spells, though probably a slightly lower DC than against her fast acting poison.
Neutralize Poison:1d20 + 7 ⇒ (13) + 7 = 20 Neutralize Poison:1d20 + 7 ⇒ (6) + 7 = 13 Neutralize Poison:1d20 + 7 ⇒ (6) + 7 = 13Okay! Naruhito was healed by Untir earlier, that takes care of Jivan, but the potions weren't enough to help Dijjit.
Lesser Restoration:1d4 ⇒ 3But that would be enough time to get her back to Ignizi so....
Riddywipple decides to accompany you back. Even though you've avenged his friends, Marigana's death does nothing to bring them back. "I think a change must come. My heart is weary; it's time to travel, to sea oceans, and so for-rest I must embrace the Open Road."
It takes a couple of days before Dijjit recuperates enough to thank you, but you can slowly see the shine of vitality return to the young gnome's face and eyes. Ignizi, for her part, seems entirely surprised you returned at all, let alone that you returned her researcher.

Once the initial hubbub dies down, Jamir grabs a bowl of dried apples from the remains of the celebratory meal and walks outside to the makeshift corral where his donkey has been kept during the mission. He feeds her some of the apples, and pats her on the nose.

Unusual abilities, boons, etc.:
Mantle of the Black Rider: Once each day as a swift action, Jamir can activate the Mantle of the Black Rider to boost his Charisma score by 1 (from 17 to 18) for one minute. This will give him an extra point of panache, as well as adding +1 to certain of his swashbuckler deeds and abilities that vary based on his Charisma modifier (which increases from +3 to +4).
Mantle of the Black Rider (AP 67 Chronicle boon):
Mantle of the Black Rider (Assuming the Mantle): You have accepted the Mantle of the Black Rider, which grants you considerable power in your quest to find Baba Yaga so long as you continue your quest. Choose one ability score (Jamir has chosen Charisma). Once per day as a swift action you may gain a +1 bonus to that ability score for 1 minute. For every additional Mantle of the Black Rider boon that you have for this character, the bonus increases by +1. You may not benefit from more than one Mantle of the Black Rider boon at a time. (From Snows of Summer chronicle sheet, AP #67)
Mouser Deeds: Mousers do not get the usual Parry and Riposte swashbuckler deed; instead, they can choose between the mouser deeds Dodging Panache and Underfoot Assault. Jamir will almost always use Underfoot Assault if he has two or more panache points left in his pool; he uses Dodging Panache rarely, and only if he is already badly injured. If Jamir only has one panache point left in his pool, he will not spend it unless he believes he absolutely has to; too many of his other abilities depend on him having 1 panache point left.
Swashbuckler (mouser) deeds, full descriptions:
Swashbucklers spend panache points to accomplish deeds. Most deeds grant the swashbuckler a momentary bonus or effect, but some provide longer-lasting effects. Some deeds remain in effect while the swashbuckler has at least 1 panache point, but do not require expending panache to be maintained. A swashbuckler can only perform deeds of her level or lower. Unless otherwise noted, a deed can be performed multiple successive times, as long as the swashbuckler has or spends the required number of panache points to perform the deed.
Derring-Do (Ex): At 1st level, a swashbuckler can spend 1 panache point when she makes an Acrobatics, Climb, Escape Artist, Fly, Ride, or Swim check to roll 1d6 and add the result to the check. She can do this after she makes the check but before the result is revealed. If the result of the d6 roll is a natural 6, she rolls another 1d6 and adds it to the check. She can continue to do this as long as she rolls natural 6s, up to a number of times equal to her Dexterity modifier (for Jamir, +3).
Dodging Panache (Ex): At 1st level, when an opponent attempts a melee attack against the swashbuckler, the swashbuckler can as an immediate action spend 1 panache point to move 5 feet; doing so grants the swashbuckler a dodge bonus to AC equal to her Charisma modifier (for Jamir, +3) against the triggering attack. This movement doesn’t negate the attack, which is still resolved as if the swashbuckler had not moved from the original square. This movement is not a 5-foot step; it provokes attacks of opportunity from creatures other than the one who triggered this deed. The swashbuckler can only perform this deed while wearing light or no armor, and while carrying no heavier than a light load.
Underfoot Assault (Ex): At 1st level, if a foe whose size is larger than the mouser’s is adjacent to her and misses her with a melee attack, the mouser can as an immediate action spend 1 panache point to move 5 feet into an area of the attacker’s space. This movement does not count against the mouser’s movement the next round, and it doesn’t provoke attacks of opportunity. While the mouser is within a foe’s space, she is considered to occupy her square within that foe’s space.
While the mouser is within her foe’s space, the foe takes a –4 penalty on all attack rolls and combat maneuver checks not made against the mouser, and all of the mouser’s allies that are adjacent to both the foe and the mouser are considered to be flanking the foe. The mouser is considered to be flanking the foe whose space she is within if she is adjacent to an ally who is also adjacent to the foe. The mouser can move within her foe’s space and leave the foe’s space unhindered and without provoking attacks of opportunity, but if the foe attempts to move to a position where the mouser is no longer in its space, the movement provokes an attack of opportunity from the mouser. This deed replaces opportune parry and riposte.
Kip-Up (Ex): At 3rd level, while the swashbuckler has at least 1 panache point, she can kip-up from prone as a move action without provoking an attack of opportunity. She can kip-up as a swift action instead by spending 1 panache point.
Precise Strike (Ex): At 3rd level, while she has at least 1 panache point, a swashbuckler gains the ability to strike precisely with a light or one-handed piercing melee weapon (though not natural weapon attacks), adding her swashbuckler level to the damage dealt. To use this deed, a swashbuckler cannot attack with a weapon in her other hand or use a shield other than a buckler. She can even use this ability with thrown light or one-handed piercing melee weapons, so long as the target is within 30 feet of her. Any creature that is immune to sneak attacks is immune to the additional damage granted by precise strike, and any item or ability that protects a creature from critical hits also protects a creature from the additional damage of a precise strike. This additional damage is precision damage, and isn’t multiplied on a critical hit. As a swift action, a swashbuckler can spend 1 panache point to double her precise strike’s damage bonus on the next attack. This benefit must be used before the end of her turn, or it is lost. This deed’s cost cannot be reduced by any ability or effect that reduces the amount of panache points a deed costs (such as the Signature Deed feat).
Quick Steal (Ex): At 3rd level, as a swift action the mouser can spend 1 panache point when she hits a foe whose size is larger than her own with a light or one-handed piercing melee weapon to attempt a steal combat maneuver check against the creature she hit. Using this deed does not provoke an attack of opportunity. This deed replaces menacing swordplay.
Swashbuckler Initiative (Ex): At 3rd level, while the swashbuckler has at least 1 panache point, she gains a +2 bonus on initiative checks. In addition, if she has the Quick Draw feat, her hands are free and unrestrained, and she has any single light or one-handed piercing melee weapon that isn’t hidden, she can draw that weapon as part of the initiative check.
Purchases between scenarios (to appear on this chronicle sheet):
- Upgrade mithral chain shirt to +1, 1,000 gp
- Two vials of oil of magic weapon, 100 gp
We've got some extra time to work with for the second session, so if you are able to garner any kind of ETA for Garduk we can try to make that work - otherwise Jamir should be fine :)

Thanks much for running, GM C! And thanks to everyone involved for making this an enjoyable game. See all y'all around the boards! (Especially kuey...let me know when you create the thread for Cosmic Captive, pls.)
Glad you guys had fun! I've got a table coming up for Siege of the Diamond City as part of RetroCon, anything else I'll be recruiting through the lodges.
And yes, our terrible trio will ride again, Jamir!
