GM Crunch and the Heresy of Man
Saving Cap'n Crunch
Maps 'n such
Hello, PbP friends! If you're reading this, I hope you are interested a run of the Heresy of Man PFS trilogy, beginning with 2-06 The First Heresy. As said in the Flaxseed Lodge, it is a 5-9, to be done in Classic, with two spots reserved. My "requirements," such as they are, are simple (at least one post per day unless otherwise occupied, flavorful, descriptive posts, all that jazz), and I hope all who come can have fun!
Also, I'd prefer everyone stayed for the whole trilogy, as it is more fun and makes more sense played in full by the same characters, but if you can't/don't want to, it's not a big deal.
We will likely be starting within the week, sooner depending on how quickly I can wrap up the other scenario I am GMing. Reporting the game is new to me, but it shouldn't take long.
"I'm here to clean this town up," says the tall man with golden skin. [/b]"That and sample a few of its brews."[/b]
I'd love to play the whole trilogy, GM!
Name: Karos Valdian
Player: Tarondor (Scott Nolan)
PFS Number: 2405-8
Faction: Liberty's Edge
Day Job (Craft (alchemy)): 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (20) + 4 = 24
Level 1s? Otherwise I can bring a lvl4 inquisitor.
Great to have you aboard, Karos!
Grumbaki, this adventure is for tier 5-9, if you have any characters in that range.
I mike like to join this.
Though PC would depend on what tier we end up in.
This is one of the few I haven't played, I'd like to give these a shot. I can play high or low tier.
We are likely playing low tier, given that our two reserved spots and our first other confirmed are in that range.
Marra Halfling Dawnflower bard steps forward to help through the whole trilogy.
Name: Marra Follower of Dawnflower
PFS Number: 11016-3
[dice=Day Job (Preform (storytelling)): 1d20 + 14[/dice]
Pathfinder Adventure, Adventure Path, Lost Omens Subscriber
I would like to jump aboard the Heresy train. :-)
I've got several PCs in tier; on the low end, I have a hexcrafter Magus, a Life Oracle, and a halfling flying charger.
Not sure if this is full at this point, but I'm available for all 3 as I posted in Flaxseed.
Well, including my two reserved spots and excluding Grumbaki, we have 8 people, with another possibility if Zoomba is still interested. I'm drawing the line at 6, I generally prefer 5 but I don't mind this time as these are tough scenarios. I'm not sure whether it would be more acceptable to do a lottery, first come, first served, or pick people based on the characters they bring to help party balance, I'm open to suggestions.
You said first come first served in the other thread, which is perfectly fair. I recommend sticking to that, even though that isn't good for me.
Tier 5-6, you say? I think I might have the perfect character - and I'll happily stay on for the full arc!
Name: "The Amazing" Julian Leroux Vanzetti
Player: I'm Hiding In Your Closet
PFS Number: 40025-7
Faction: Liberty's Edge
Perform (Acting): 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (11) + 17 = 28
Well I can bring a level 5 Samurai or a level 8 Investigator to the table.
Just checked, the investigator is level 8,5 so nope just the samurai.
Marra's day job roll didn't take above due to a typo.
Day Job (Preform (storytelling)): 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (15) + 14 = 29
Signing up with my level 5 Magus.
Character: Cirri Merryweather
PFS #: 133608-3
Faction: Grand Lodge
Starting Gold: 4088.5
Starting Prestige: 17
Starting Fame: 25
Day Job: Perform (Dance): 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 7 (I may use my GM reroll on this if I don't use it in game)
Warpac would love to join.
Honestly, I did not expect so many signups so quickly! Sadly, I'm not going to run more than one table, as I need to get myself better acquainted with PbP GMing before I do more at a time. As such, I am going to take the first six people to sign on with characters, plus my two reserved spots.
- Matsu Anfial
- Shandra Dillon
- Karos Valdian
- Marra follower of Dawnflower
- The Amazing Vanzetti
- Cirri Merryweather
The above may dot in the discussion and gameplay threads whenever, feel free to roleplay and such if you are so inclined. I made an error reporting my previous scenario, I should be ready to start by the time I'm done fixing that. Again, my apologies to those who did not make it.
That'll teach me to ask about tier. :)
Have fun, folks! I'll get these evasive scenarios another time!
Sorry, guys. You aren't mad, are you? Are you? No! No! Not the face! Please, I have a family! *Cowers in the corner sobbing*
