Chronicles are ready to go, here with the first set! That said, Anfial, I feel like you rolled your Day Job for this scenario, but now I can't find it. Can you point me to it or roll it if you haven't? And as Shandra asked, you did fight an evil outsider/undead creature of the appropriate CR, and you don't seem to have all those boxes checked. If you want that on your sheet, just say the word.
Edit: Karos, is this your Day Job for the second adventure? I will assume it is for now.

There are now two Chronicles for each of you in the folder, the one labeled "Dark Things" is the new one and the one labeled "First Heresy is the old one. I figured it would be best to put them all in one place in case they need to be accessed later.

I only see the "First Heresy" Chronicles.
Cirri Merryweather |
Thanks, GM. The chronicles look great. I have to figure out my purchases for Cirri now...
Oh, and I need to make my familiar.
The Amazing Vanzetti |

Now I can see the new ones; thanks.
GM Crunch |
Good to know, V; I didn't actually do anything. It seems they show themselves if you reload enough. I'm not sure what's up with your format, Karos, I'll look into it. No big hurry, Marra, although I'm ready to go whenever everyone else is. Cirri, will your familiar be doing anything in combat? Attacks, aid another, knowledge checks? Should I make an icon for him?
Cirri Merryweather |
I leveled up and I'm debating what I need to buy.
I have a familiar now, yay. I don't expect it to do much so we don't need an icon.
Cirri Merryweather |
Okay, I bought a belt of giant's strength. I am ready to go.
The Amazing Vanzetti |
I took the resist energy wand.
The Amazing Vanzetti |
So for some reason, I see all the sheets as landscape instead of portrait.
I'm seeing this problem too, now - I didn't when I looked at them on my laptop, but I do now that I'm looking from my desktop (from which I print).
GM Crunch |
I'm not really sure how to fix that, but would rotating the sheets of those for whom it is a problem help? I could rotate them back once they are printed.
GM Crunch |
I started to on this round of Chronicles, but then I realized I could take a snapshot of my PDF and send it up to Drive. Do you think there is a definite advantage to either method? I usually use Google Drawings because I don't have access to Reader at most computers I'm at, but now I'm thinking the former has more issues.
GM Crunch |
Oh, I didn't think of that. Do you want me to redo any of the Chronicles from the first two scenarios in Reader? Wouldn't take very long.
Cirri Merryweather |
I'll buy all three scrolls of Gust of Wind, Knock and Arcane Sight. 150 + 150 + 375 = 675 gold total. As a Magus I can cast Gust of Wind and Arcane Sight. V can cast Knock.
Shandra Dillon |
@GM: I resized the map so that it's easier to see/handle. When you're done with the sand depression, just right click on it and select Order>Send to Back. You can then enlarge the next map, and it will automatically cover the old one. Our tokens are already at the front, so they should automatically appear above the new map.
GM Crunch |
No problem, I can bot you as needed. We all need some time for that pesky real life.
Cirri Merryweather |
Note the website seems to be down for some people on some regions, especially on mobile.
GM Crunch |
Yeah, it was down for me most of the weekend, and for others it still seems to be, given what I'm seeing on the messageboards. We're in no hurry, though, and you, Cirri, have just ended the combat.
Cirri Merryweather |
Whip it good!
GM Crunch |
Is everyone ready for the next part? I understand if not, the site has been quite wonky of late.
The Amazing Vanzetti |
Very ready.
Cirri Merryweather |
Let's do this!
GM Crunch |
All right, then I'll get this heretical show back on the road - tomorrow morning! I am not typing the post to come on a phone.
Shandra Dillon |
I apologize for not posting lately. I have heat exhaustion, and it's a lot more draining in real life than in Pathfinder. I don't even have the mental energy to watch a movie without taking a nap.
The good news is that two days of rest and lots of water is all its supposed to take to recover, so I'll hopefully be back on Tuesday.
GM Crunch |
No problem, Shandra, we are just about wrapping up. Hope you start feeling better soon.
I will be putting up Chronicles tomorrow when I get back to a computer. Also, could I trouble you to tell me if there was anything I did particularly well or things I could improve on, GM-wise? I'd like to hear your feedback. I'll probably be taking a break from GMing over the summer as I search for a job that isn't at a high school, but if I can I will continue to run games on the boards.
Cirri Merryweather |
Feel free to leave a "what do you guys do afterward" section afterward.
Thanks for writing party conditions in the combat posts- It's really easy to forget about the Good Hope bonuses.
I really wish they made the maps so each square is 5 feet long. Depending on your photo manipulation skills, you could try to draw the extra lines on top of them.
I also liked the villainous rants. It sounds like that djinni was full of himself and his immortality.

Chronicles are here! I am new to the Dropbox way of doing things, and as such I believe if you are unable to do what you need (it says anyone with the link can see this, I do not know if you can also add it to your own Dropbox) then you will have to e-mail me so I can share the folder with you. My e-mail address is teddyberman@gmail.com.
Cirri Merryweather |
The chronicles are looking great. Thanks! It was a lot of fun playing with your guys.
Karos Valdian |
Looks good, GM! Thank you for running the games! I thought your characterization was strong as well as your pacing. You didn't run into any serious hurdles in keeping the game moving, but I think your light manner would have handled it well.
Thanks also to all my fellow players. It was a pleasure!
