Garox sees a creature that resembles a small, metallic cobra behind the sarcophagus. Its body is made of overlapping iron plates, and its eyes are pinpoints of red light. It is getting ready to strike at him.
Garox gets to attack it, then it attacks, then the rest can take a turn. I will post initiative on my attack.

You can't step back any further, unless you want to fall backwards into the pit. You are hemmed in on all sides,Pitbull on one side and Valandil on the other side and Zanaver inside the vault.

Valandil's acid orb landed directly on the cobra, but it just shook it off.
Sadly, constructs are immune to poison. I'll give your character a little free information.

Construct traits:

After thinking a little while about why the poison didn't affect the cobra, he remembered what constructs are immune to.

Nesterok moved to take Garok's place then drop his whip at his feet and taking with both hands his falchion, stopping calling for his luck but it continued for two more round then strike at the creature

One of the great thinks aboutAcid Splash, is that the acid is summoned, so no worry about spell resistance. Let me know if you still need a caster level check for some other reason.
