Garox cannot see clearly if there are any traps on the door since the statue is so close to the door, but he believes there are no traps on it directly.

After ensuring everyone else who is not actively helping is AT LEAST ten feet away...

Pitbull moves in and starts giving the thing a proper manhandle.

Since the trap was set off by Grigori, as Pitbull pushes the statue she does not get shocked and is able to get the statue out of the way of the door. Now that the statue is moved, Garox can see that there are no traps on the door itself, just on the statue, and the door is not locked. The door can now be opened freely.

Garox identifies what is under the dust as brown mold. As per PRD... Brown mold feeds on warmth, drawing heat from anything around it. It normally comes in patches 5 feet in diameter, and the temperature is always cold in a 30-foot radius around it. Living creatures within 5 feet of it take nonlethal cold damage. Fire brought within 5 feet of brown mold causes the mold to instantly double in size.

He can figure out all except for one of the spells on the statues, but since the ones that he was able to figure out were all shocking grasp, it can be assumed that the other one is the same.

Right. It would be one thing if you were unlocking something, then I would accept the take 20 on a Disable Device check.
While disabling the trap on the statue that they are all looking at, Garox realizes that the trap will automatically reset in 7 minutes.
1 disable, 1 shock, 2 disables and 3 shocks. Since they reset, do you just want to move the statues out of the way after working on them or handle the statues and their hidden areas one at a time?

I guess it is easier if we move them all out of the way before they reset. Do we have enough CLW charges on whatever wand someone had? I only get shocks if I roll by 5+, but I rolled pretty crappy on some rolls :s.


The DC for the traps were 25, so your rolling was actually average overall. I will roll for the traps now.
Shocking Grasp trap 1: 2d6 ⇒ (4, 6) = 10

Shocking Grasp trap 2: 2d6 ⇒ (3, 3) = 6
Shocking Grasp trap 3: 2d6 ⇒ (2, 2) = 4
Shocking Grasp trap 4: 2d6 ⇒ (2, 5) = 7
Now 4 reflex saves to see how much damage you take overall. And I know that he will take healing breaks after getting shocked.

So, of the seven statues that have traps on them, Burick set one off, I'll say Pitbull disabled one on her own, and you disabled three Garox. So I'll say two of the traps shocked you, dealing 5 then 3 damage taking into account you making the saves and only counting the first two traps.
