A little busy today to do the level up. Should be able to do so tomorrow.

Hmm... I need to think on the downtime thing a little. I am not sure what to do, other than checking in with the Pathfinder Society and reporting that is. Plus, this is the first game I have been in that includes downtime, so I am a little new to it. Any suggestions?

Gather Information seems useful and it does fit with Jonas, though I am a little unsure what the subject should be. I am thinking the necromancer we encountered would be a good idea.

You might've missed my post yesterday, but if we want to maximize our profits, you could spend some of your downtime trying to find someone to cut the stones we got, increasing their values.

Recall my list of plot hooks from a week or so ago. Any of these can be looked into with downtime efforts. As Penka mentioned, you also have the matter of the gems. Same would apply there, although we'd likely be working with a different skill, such as Appraise, to get that done.

I'm kinda slow these days but I'm trying to go back to full speed.

Elxurian would like to use her time with the following:
- Researching what god does the Evil Cleric followed. Through research. Knowledge Religion?
- Researching he story of the area where the centaur tribes are currently located, to see if they had previous problems or something ancient hidden or forgotten there, specially to figure out that weird door deep underground. Knowledge geography? Or maybe history?
- Gather information about the next attendees of the auction, to see who is coming this time, or specially if any of them are not coming. If I can use this to also gather information about all of them, the better. Diplomacy?
- Last but not least, she wants to gather information about the people missing during the last few days, and if the militia or researchers were able to identify any of the ones that turned into the abonemination to see if they are a specific evil group kidnapping people or maybe they are sacrifcing their own folk. Hell, it could even be that they were not even human to begin with. Is this a Scheme for and upcoming adventure, or maybe a gather information or whatever?

Please confirm what do I roll for each and I'll do it in the gameplay.

Greater Mercy is fine with me.

For your research, the following seem appropriate:

- Knowledge: Religion for the first bit of information. Because of your contacts within the church you can give yourself a +8 to this roll once you are within the city. This would represent spending a full day consulting with clerics, reading through tomes, etc.

- Knowledge: History for the second bit of information. Your faction has no direct ties to groups that would typically have this type of information, so there's no bonus on this one.

- Since the next auction date hasn't been set, this information isn't really available at the moment.

- I need more info on your last item. Which missing people are you referring to?

@Jonas - I'll work on your faction interaction in the gameplay thread. As far as the gems are concerned, either a Diplomacy or Knowledge: Local will help find you someone willing to work on the gems for a reasonable price that might allow you to earn some additional coin over their rough value.

Missing people around the city. Peasants, commoners, nobles, whoever went missing the last few days. If these creatures are made based on human bodies or even living people there must be a place where they are getting these resources...

@Elxurian - Nothing really notable seems amiss in terms of any missing bodies, kidnappings, or deaths. Keep in mind that the Isle of Kortos has several settlements outside of Absalom, and you were pretty much in the middle of the island with your last trek.

Folks, I wanted to let everyone know that we had a player drop from the game due to real life circumstances and based on some issues of my own I've decided to put this game on indefinite hold.

My original plan for this game was for it to be more like a typical home game, where the players drove the story, but I haven't seen that take shape and fear that PbP format may not be the right medium to help make that a reality. It is likely I will be taking the campaign itself offline and giving it a shot with a standard tabletop group.

If I do end up firing this back up I will let you all know, but for now I will be marking this one as inactive.

Oh, crappo. I totally missed the post from Trips saying the game was down. Sad times. I really enjoyed this character!
