KULIK readies an action: after the tiefling takes a five-foot step in his direction, KULIK will grab him and dimensional hop twenty feet up so that Ashur can reach the dragon and attack.

            @Kulik:
Each conjuration spell belongs to one of five subschools. Conjurations transport creatures from another plane of existence to your plane (calling); create objects or effects on the spot (creation); heal (healing); bring manifestations of objects, creatures, or forms of energy to you (summoning); or transport creatures or objects over great distances (teleportation). Creatures you conjure usually—but not always—obey your commands.
A creature or object brought into being or transported to your location by a conjuration spell cannot appear inside another creature or object, nor can it appear floating in an empty space. It must arrive in an open location on a surface capable of supporting it.
The creature or object must appear within the spell's range, but it does not have to remain within the range.
The weird thing being that it's a spell-like ability that doesn't list what spell it's like (though Teleport is usually a pretty good guess for this, since the SLA doesn't stop actions after doing it.)

Yea, it's fine Kulik. I have a glaive. And I think it's like D-door actually.
Ashur draws his not-used often weapon and strikes the dragon.
1d20 + 19 - 2 - 3 ⇒ (2) + 19 - 2 - 3 = 16
But he misses due to the unfamiliarity with using an actual weapon.

I always thought it to be like dimension door, and the part you cited about summoning creatures, etc. (Which, interestingly, would almost immediately preclude summoning flying creatures.) But whatever. Your call.

'Tis the rules, for good reason. I guess, though, one simply summons birds on the ground then they immediately start to fly? The citation is actually for ALL conjuration spells, but mainly to prevent folks like me from dropping celestial anklyosaurses on people (because those things are already mean enough.) But then that leads to the though that "if they can fly, the sky counts as a surface" with the idea of dolphins and stuff.

A shaken character takes a –2 penalty on attack rolls, saving throws, skill checks, and ability checks. Shaken is a less severe state of fear than frightened or panicked.
If so, KULIK will cast that on Ashur instead of dimensionally hopping.

Yes it would, though I hope Ashur doesn't have Superstitious. That Rage Power is bonkers unhelpful in situations like this. I'm actually busy at work for once, so I might get a big post up before the end of the workday (3 hours from now.)

Neat, the first letters of all your names make the word "TAKE" when put in init order. Also, flying rules are really weird once you realize that facing rules don't exist anymore. I think it works like Ship-to-Ship combat (even though I negated those rules in our local S&S game.) As long as I fly around like a goon (minimum 100 feet a round, though, it seems like he doesn't have to make fly checks with his sub-par fly speed. Looks like he'll be provoking once a round, since he's smart enough to not provoke more than once and just fly around like a silly little man. His square will represent where his turn ens at, though thematically and mechanically, he's flying around the tower a bunch of times in his turn.

Well, fortunatrely for your horrible rolls, I think something got lost in translation. Here's a diagram.
EDIT: Oh god, that red font translated terribly. The topmost text says "Bow Drop Location," which is where the bow was dropped during his "waste a bunch of fly speed so he doesn't have to make a check. That's where Taurus is picking up the bow, unless he's got Pilfering Hand or something cool like that.
The translation from pbp to map is a little tough, so I might have mussed stuff up. Descriptions should top commenture from me, for future note.
Edit 2:
drops Kulik's bow (on the tower west (up) of the ft. part of the 50 ft marker, for reference)
This is really the only discrepancy we've got going on here, it seems (and by proxy, the dragon's location.)
