After the weekend I'll be starting up From Under Ice.
Please make sure you read the Campaign Info in regards to some of the in-play expectations.
Essentially, this is meant to be a narrative experience, not just a series of rolls to get credit (while combat does certainly happen). You'll probably not have the best time if you post with a set of dice rolls and something saying, "I swing my sword" and expect me to fill in the blanks.

I have a multiple options and am willing to play whatever for party comp purposes. Options include Musketmaster 2, Swashbuckler 3, Bloodrager 4, bard 5, and a Rogue (unchained) 1.
Preference to play the bard or the rogue, backup w/ swashbuckler if it's looking like we need a combat person.

Sorry all, got a little behind this weekend. Trying to get a post pulled together.

![]() |

Sorry folks, we don't have social skills. Any case we could try to make is probably going to fail, and I'd rather have a fight against 2 guards than a camp friggin full of them.

A paladin can, as a move action, concentrate on a single item or individual within 60 feet and determine if it is evil, learning the strength of its aura as if having studied it for 3 rounds. While focusing on one individual or object, the paladin does not detect evil in any other object or individual within range.
Keep in mind that it won't work on creatures with less than 5 HD unless they are undead, outsiders, or have an aura. It's also obvious spellcasting, which is sure to ruffle some feathers.

![]() |

Glad I could be of help. The 5 HD requirement is always good to bring up because it curbs obnoxious "I must detect evil on all of the things" paladin behavior.

If he didn't have a longspear, I'd be in his square by now really causing some havoc. I have the mouser archetype. I can get in their square and give them -4 to attack rolls, and it counts as flanking.

![]() |

Does the 50% chance of ammunition retrieval stand in PFS? o:
Correct.
Ammunition: Projectile weapons use ammunition: arrows (for bows), bolts (for crossbows), darts (for blowguns), or sling bullets (for slings and halfling sling staves). When using a bow, a character can draw ammunition as a free action; crossbows and slings require an action for reloading (as noted in their descriptions). Generally speaking, ammunition that hits its target is destroyed or rendered useless, while ammunition that misses has a 50% chance of being destroyed or lost.
Depending on your GM you either roll or just get 1/2 your missed shots back.

Rose - you may want to check out the stat block in your character.
Str 11, Dex 17, Con 13, Int 10, Wis 10, Cha 17
You said in your combat post your con was only 11.

![]() |

Con is 13. I was -11 HP two HP away from dead dying.
I have problems figuring out the stabilization rolls. I read what the rulebook says. I think I understand it, but I seem to add the penalties wrong when I make the checks.

![]() |

It's pretty simple really.
Con check, meaning roll a d20 and add your con modifier.
DC for the check is 10+HP in the negative. So at - 11 the DC would be 21.

I am a fan of this pacing. Keep it up, folks!

![]() |

Preemptive head's up. I will be out of town Friday through Tuesday this next week. I may post Tuesday night, but due to me being "camping" in a "real tent" I do not expect much in the way of my ability to post a damn thing.

![]() |

Do be clear about the above - this is for NEXT weekend. Ya'll can post today. :-)

![]() |

At gen con, will not be posting until next Tuesday.

![]() |

G'day everybody.
With Skødir's trip to Gen Con, and my trip to the Eclipse, let's call it a break through next Tuesday.
I'll see you all then! Have a great weekend.

![]() |

While I very much have been enjoying the pace, I should mention I have a deadline to have this whole thing wrapped up by September 23rd.
I suppose it's not a true deadline, but unless you want nothing to happen for 3 weeks while I'm out of the country, having it packed up is a good thing. :-)
I'll try to keep us moving.

![]() |

Remember: your character might be a badass but you're still a CR 1/3 human with 8 HP. Bears are CR 4. Plan accordingly.

![]() |

Sorry all, I've had a lot going on the last few days. Post as soon as i can.

I've been trying to take care of a million things this week before I head out. I haven't forgotten chronicles, but it's difficult to find a few moments.
