Even though the victim is an evil cultist, Justin feels better having Kilthan do the CDG. CDGs are so unsporting, but he is not naive, you don't give evil extra chances to beat you.

Vitals (Kilthan):
(HP: 119[139]/119[139]; AC: 24[22](26[24])/14/22[20](24[22]); CMD: 26 [28]; Fort +11, Ref: +8, Will: +4 [+6]; Perception: +17; Rage: 8/8)

Well, there's your problem right there. Kilthan's dwelven upbringing has taught him that killing evil things isn't a sport, just a necessity. :)

And here I though Kilthan's belief would have sounded more like:

"killing evil things isn't just a sport, but also a necessity."

Well, if we're talking about Goblins, sure.

Quick Poll, how many people are going to be gone this week for Gen Con?

If enough are going to be gone we might want to go today and tomorrow then shelf the game til monday. Otherwise we can power through.

HP: 9/9 AC:16:13:13 Saves:3:5:2

I'm not going to GenCon, so no absence here.

Female Dwarf Witch/10 - (HP: 64/92; AC 16; FF 14; Touch 16; Fort +7/+9; Ref +6/+8; Will +9/+11; Init +2; Per +13/+17

No GenCon here - someday maybe.

Lizardman hp=108/108(AC24/ff24/t11) {F=+12/R=+6/W=+9} CMD 26 Paladin 10 (Shining Knight) Smite evil 4/4 - Lay on hands 7/7

No Gencon for me.

HP 101 of 110 - AC 24 (T 13, FF 21) - F +10, R +5, W +12

I will not be at GenCon either.

I have been though, back in 2003. Good times, met a lot of people I RPed with online in person. The good ol days of Living Force and Living Dragonstar.

Anyhooo... game on.

Wow seems like we can continue through Gen Con then!

I will be at Gencon. Though considering my posting rate from the last 2 weeks, don't think it'll be too different that what you've been seeing.

Oh and back home for 30ish hours until I leave for the Con! I doubt I'll be able to post at all while gone, so please feel free to do what is needed with Dryn. I have some prep stuff tomorrow but will post as I can until I actually leave. Sorry none of you will be there :( I'd take everyone if I could!

I chose to go to Gary Con in the spring and it looks like Rock Con this fall, so all in all not too bad.

Thx Ingrid, your response beat my edit.

Sorry for the brief post, was posted during the ride home from Gencon. I'm back now though and should have no issues posting.

No problem, I was out most of the day due to birthday party for my son.

Please note you have used 3 bombs so far.

Lizardman hp=108/108(AC24/ff24/t11) {F=+12/R=+6/W=+9} CMD 26 Paladin 10 (Shining Knight) Smite evil 4/4 - Lay on hands 7/7

The way I resolved burning web was fire damage set web squares on fire.
Anyone STARTING their turn in a flaming web square took 2d4 at the beginning of their turn before anything else.
One round later, all adjacent web squares become burning web squares, and all burning web squares are now clear as they have burned up.
Just how I did it.

That makes sense and how I typically run it, though I tend to just do things when I run and most of the time I guess right. So you wouldn't have anyone take damage moving into or through burning webs

By the way I am will going on vacation tomorrow and coming back on Sunday. I will still be checking on my phone and updating at night, just means the updates will not be frequent.

I'm wondering if we could turn the cultists against each other -- if we could pin this violence on the people behind door number 2, for instance, we could try to let them bleed themselves dry.

Lizardman hp=108/108(AC24/ff24/t11) {F=+12/R=+6/W=+9} CMD 26 Paladin 10 (Shining Knight) Smite evil 4/4 - Lay on hands 7/7

good idea justin would be glad to arrange to have some bodies of other cultistsl found In this room

Er, the tiefling did see that we were the ones doing the attacking.

Well, I was assuming there was more back here than just the one tiefling, for one thing... and that they'd probably be a little too busy freaking out to try a speak with dead?

It's all good. Bought the bow with strength rating for just this kind of thing were I can't get the nasty critters to come close and play with my axeblade.

Any reason to save my smite evil?
I can probably tear through this tiefling if I smite him.

Well, the sleep and axe combo failed.
Maybe Justin can rush in with luck and a greataxe?

{HP 74/74 | AC18/FF14/T14/CMD21 | F+9/R+11/W+3 | Inish +4, Per +11}

I'm beginning to wonder if me, Ingrid and Rohara shouldn't go investigate the other doorway ;p

But yea, narrow 5' halls are the worst. Especially with a bend like that. Nice for defenders though, as these guys are demonstrating.

Female Dwarf Witch/10 - (HP: 64/92; AC 16; FF 14; Touch 16; Fort +7/+9; Ref +6/+8; Will +9/+11; Init +2; Per +13/+17

Rohara and I need to switch places so that she can luck Justin.

Lizardman hp=108/108(AC24/ff24/t11) {F=+12/R=+6/W=+9} CMD 26 Paladin 10 (Shining Knight) Smite evil 4/4 - Lay on hands 7/7

I think Aarakess can just move to the back ahead of Ingrid.
Maybe have Ingrid delay to double move and grab a spot in front as soon as we get the cleric down?

Aarakees and Rohara can time their move to swap places, I am ok with that, then Rohara can luck Justin and he can go if that is what everyone involved wants to do.

Female Dwarf Witch/10 - (HP: 64/92; AC 16; FF 14; Touch 16; Fort +7/+9; Ref +6/+8; Will +9/+11; Init +2; Per +13/+17

Works for me, Can I Hex the half-orc one more time before switching (essentially have my standard action before the move and Rohara's after?)

Note looking at the map, Rohara can already do touch of luck on Justin. Not sure the purpose of all the switch? Getting Justin closer?

HP: 9/9 AC:16:13:13 Saves:3:5:2

Looks like I'm guarding the Rear, and looking out if any enter the room.

Surprised that's there's no swapping of the guards we knocked out yet.

Which guards are you referring to?

Female Dwarf Witch/10 - (HP: 64/92; AC 16; FF 14; Touch 16; Fort +7/+9; Ref +6/+8; Will +9/+11; Init +2; Per +13/+17

We have actually only been at this for like 5-10 minutes. And we probably killed the replacement guards from the room south of the skeletons.

Correct, and the temple has been somewhat busy defending it from murderous infidels!

{HP 74/74 | AC18/FF14/T14/CMD21 | F+9/R+11/W+3 | Inish +4, Per +11}

"Murderous infidel?! You callin' me a murderous infidel?" Dryn looks up murderous infidel in the alchemitionary. "Oh. Yes, I suppose I am. Carry on with the dying then."

Vitals (Kilthan):
(HP: 119[139]/119[139]; AC: 24[22](26[24])/14/22[20](24[22]); CMD: 26 [28]; Fort +11, Ref: +8, Will: +4 [+6]; Perception: +17; Rage: 8/8)
Male Half-Elven Ranger (Infiltrator): 9/Bloodrager (Spelleater): 1
Vitals (Jagdbach):
(HP: 91/91 (118/118); AC: 25(23)/13(11)/22(20); CMD: 23 (25) {27 (29) trip}; Fort +9(+11), Ref: +10, Will: +3(+5); {+4 v. enchant}; Percep: +7)

I'd argue the murderous infidel bit, but I'm the one who's been killing the sleepy evils.

And Aara -- I can't 5' step into a stairway -- it's difficult terrain, so I'm sort of stuck slogging away at this cleric unless someone wants to swap out with me? (eg - give me a space to back into)

Lizardman hp=108/108(AC24/ff24/t11) {F=+12/R=+6/W=+9} CMD 26 Paladin 10 (Shining Knight) Smite evil 4/4 - Lay on hands 7/7

I was hoping Aarakess would withdraw. When there is space, I'll be there.

She ain't using it any more unless someone can free her. Limp Lash, what a cool spell - and no save.

{HP 74/74 | AC18/FF14/T14/CMD21 | F+9/R+11/W+3 | Inish +4, Per +11}

Token "I am paying attention" post.

As a paladin, cdg on a sleeping person is probably not going to happen. Tactically it is the best move, but RPG wise so wrong.

Female Dwarf Witch/10 - (HP: 64/92; AC 16; FF 14; Touch 16; Fort +7/+9; Ref +6/+8; Will +9/+11; Init +2; Per +13/+17

He is trying to kill you and the guy next to you is using some type of good bane weapon against you. I don't think it is a problem, but it is your RPing.

The other option is to take the AoO standing up and then switch with Kilthan and let him cdg with the axe, if he has it still.

Vitals (Kilthan):
(HP: 119[139]/119[139]; AC: 24[22](26[24])/14/22[20](24[22]); CMD: 26 [28]; Fort +11, Ref: +8, Will: +4 [+6]; Perception: +17; Rage: 8/8)
Male Half-Elven Ranger (Infiltrator): 9/Bloodrager (Spelleater): 1
Vitals (Jagdbach):
(HP: 91/91 (118/118); AC: 25(23)/13(11)/22(20); CMD: 23 (25) {27 (29) trip}; Fort +9(+11), Ref: +10, Will: +3(+5); {+4 v. enchant}; Percep: +7)

Dropped the greataxe, though I do have a waraxe on my belt.
