In the evening Dinali will round up the poor fellows shanghaied with her.
"Now listen up you slags, this is not a friendly ship. And I know everyone wants to be real cozy with everyone and crawl in their hammock for a little nighttime romp. But honestly some of you are not good at it. I mean ok thats fine not everys mommas son is a beauty. So what. Hang on to someone who knows to win people and help them and follow their lead. You will get some friends true. It works. Because if you slimetongued chaps try to find friends and you really botch it, you make our live sooo much harder. Now there is a game on the streets thats called push and pull. Someone pushes you and the other guy pulls your wallet. We can do the same here. I guess you can tell Warren and me whom you think is your next loverboy. And he or I, we will go over and play a nice round of Have you met Ted. You smile, you nod and everyone is happy."
If you really botch your diplomacy the guy starts to hate us. Wich makes the lives really hard for those who are dedicated charmer. Please use the aid another option, and yes we burn two actions per night, but honestly its much better than the other way round. I know it kind of sucks if someone is better and you want to make your own friends, but sometimes live gives you oranges and you will have a hard time making apple juice from it.

-Posted with Wayfinder

@Spout- No since you arnt actually swimming a Swim Speed shouldnt help here.
@Dinali,Rachel - Sorry i know its pretty unreachable.

So i can do one of two things.

Option 1: Surprise Round- They act and then we use the initiatives.
Option 2: I let them act first unless you have a very nice roll in the initiative, they dont get an extra round. Then on the second round we take into account the init rolls.

The problem as i see it. You have no idea where they are other then in the bilges. If i allow you your own turn you have a chance to plumb the water but depending on how that could be semi-Dangerous.

(Spout checking the water with his foot, I see his foot getting bit)

I think Option 1 or 2 sufficiently take care of the problem by allowing them to act first and let you guys know where they are.

I guess we know rats are down here--so being surprised by rats would be difficult. And we can do productive things like ready an attack at the first exposed rat that pops out even without seeing them. So maybe we do option 2. Just my 2cp.

19@Dinali- Attack misses, Also if you would like to spend the Panache point to try and parry the first attack i will allow.

17@Warren- Your missile hits red (the one that spout attacked) and a plume of water is shot into the air as your missile connects with the rat.

10@Akadi- Yes it would have had an adverse a(e)ffect i probably would have charged the water and dealt maybe half dmg to the closest rat and then 1 or 2 points as it radiates out. Init: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (7) + 3 = 10

If I can't full attack I'll ready action to strike the first one that gets within range again using the attack above.

AoO: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (17) + 4 = 21
Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 3

AoO if available.

Sorry Raven can you give a turn as well.

@Spout and Rachel, you guys are trying to move into the same spot. Currently im figuring on Rachel getting there First, and Burning Blue. Spot you killed Orange on its turn, when it tried to stand up. (just noticed that i didnt really give the rats a turn, not that it really mattered)

@Dinali- Unless Raven kills Blue, you will have killed Blue.

@Warren & Akadi- I think everything is dead

Er, is everything dead? If so...

Raevon rushes down the stairs into the bilges, and wrinkles his nose as it is assaulted with the stink of several freshly split open rats, made worse by the dank of the bilges. "Oh good, I thought I was intended to suffer alone," Raevon declares monotonously. "Glad to have others with whom to share such wondrous sights and smells."

Move Action - walk down the stairs
Standard Action - draw sap

female Human Swashbuckler 1

Eying the pointy ears coming closer and drawing a sap dinalis eyes get a dangerous glint."What do you want to threaten us with. That little something. If you want a piece of me pack steel! Apart from that. Check around maybe we find something useful while we are down here. It might stink but at least we are away from the brass!

Taking 20 to check for any useful items.

Spout scratches at the wound from the rat but is otherwise no worse for the wear. He isn't quite sure what Dinali is looking for but, manning the bilges, he tries to get rid of the excess water.

Strength: 1d20 ⇒ 8

The extra water already down here is making things difficult and Spout begins to struggle.

Raevon clicks his tongue in disapproval. "Peace, little one. I was sent down to kill bilge rats, and I think the..." the half-elf trails off and waves his words aside. "Whatever title Scourge holds. I think he wasn't being metaphorical."

"Not to imply you're rats," Raevon adds with a smirk.
