Rachel is not climbing fast at all. 10 feet up she looks at the others, then to Mr Scourge and the rest of the crew says:
"Mr. Scourge, it seems we be having a couple of monkeys here. Alas I not be one of them. Perchance you are also looking for a cook? I once cooked a man's own balls so well he ate it and enjoyed it. After being told what it was, he just shrugged and ate the other one as well! Best thing he ate he said!"

Water Spout does well the first thirty feet of the journey, easily outpacing most of the others. However a missed handhold causes him to nearly lose his balance. He looks down to see the intense drop and nearly stops there. He pushes through the fear and keeps climbing only to realize that the red haired human has passed him and is sitting comfortably in the crow's nest. Now the others are talking of cooking, another skill he doesn't have. If I don't find something to do quick I'm going to be stuck, what do they call it, swabbing the deck. that doesn't sound good. Haven't been on a ship since those first few months. What else is there to do?

climb: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5 fall
climb: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7

Water Spout tries to maneuver his way down but a stiff breeze causes the rigging to buck. He gets thrown off but a bit of rope wraps around his leg and prevents him from falling the full 45ft. a fall from this height would have killed me with only 1 hp. He swings lazily back and forth 30ft off the ground.

I don't think the rigging's for me.

Human 36/36hp CMD=13 AC19/t11/ff18 F+3/R +3/W+6 Oracle 5 perception +1 / init+1

Maybe the cook is a default position. I think I got a cantrip to use.

actually showing magical talent would automatically put you above most of us in the pecking order to the pirates

Quite obviously Dinali joins the ranks of the Riggers, Congrats grab a +1 to Climb or acrobatics for a stat bonus.

Also as a heads up and because i forgot to say it earlier easy to come by items on the Ship : barrels, baskets, blocks and tackle, candles, canvas,
grappling hooks, hemp rope (any length up to 200 feet),
lanterns, leather drinking vessels and waterskins, sacks,
simple tools or hardware (especially carpentry tools such
as hammers and nails). Clubs (staves) abound. This is just something to consider.

For this Next Test its the cooking Test. Everyone rolls a d6, if you get the same number as someone in the post above you, Roll again. I will double check Time stamps and stuff to try and keep it clear. The Last person to post. Rolls 1d6 extra entitled EXTRA D6. Your CO-GM will make a decision and then based on that extra die roll things will happen.

Heads Up To Dinali: You do not roll the D6 to determine position, your welcome to fit in-between any two people or at the ends.

(the die rolls are to just pick your order from Left to Right. I do not want you Choosing your Order)

@ Spout, your helped down from the rigging by some other Sailors that see your predicament. "Hi My name is Barefoot Samms Toppin let me give you a hand with that."

After being told she can cook Rachel walks up to the pretty redhead who winked at her and says:
"Well met! Would you be willing to escort me to the Galley? I'm sure Mr. Scourge would not like me being lost on the ship. Why I might end up entering the privy while the Captain is in there!"

for GM:

During the walk Rachel will introduce herself properly to the girl and ask if she always winks at the new recruits. Rachel wants to ask about the general running of the ship. Who to trust, who not (especially the cook). She will flirt a lot with the redhead where possible.

It was the other redhead, sorry ;)

No im very sorry, i was talking about the red-haired babe.

@Dinali from Barefoot: "but of course, Well one thing we pirates love is a bit of song or maybe a story told. We also are prolific gamblers, i know at night some of the lads strike up a game or two of Arm Wrestling or Hog Lob. Try to stay away from the big brutes that take part in "Heave" the drinking game, they tend to be very rowdy if they win or passed out if they lose. Grok might have anything you misplaced, but it will cost you to get it out. Also stay away from Scourge he will more then likely try to make a pass at you, also i heard your group pissed him off something fierce."

@Tariel- sorry i will make sure you get ship actions and daytime and night actions, very soon.

@Rachel from Kroop, about the ship and captain:
“It’s poison, this ship, but don’t let anyone hear you say it
aloud. The hull listens, see, and the cap’n hears it all. Poison
the Wormwood is, though, rotten to the core. You’ll not meet a
more nasty, sour piece of work than Cap’n Harrigan in all your
days at sea, and his crew’s the same, ’specially the first mate,
Mr. Plugg. Vicious little sod, he is. He’d take his own mother’s
liver to the butcher to make pies with, he would. But they
leave me alone, mostly. They know I can’t ’arm ’em.”

@Akadi- You have run into "Hi my name is Rosie Cusswell, I like long walks on the beach, good music and great alcohol. Im a halfing swab, with a hand-axe, and a penchant for cutting peoples hands off that mess with me. Ive run afoul of Scourge just like you. Oh also that B*tch Grok has my Fiddle i miss it so."

After you have completed your work for the day, the sun begins to set. You hear the bell toll the bloody hour, whoever you are with tells you that you need to head up onto deck immediately.

As you reach topside or maybe you have been topside all along quite a scene unfolds.

Master Scourge begins the Ceremony
"Pirates and Ladies, I bring before you Jakes Magpie, he was caught stealing from the CREW, This man wants to take everything you, i or even the Captain has worked for. That is why we must now administer a punishment even i find severe, you all know of my Kind heart. Not likely you all think Tonight during the bloody hour we will Keel Haul Mr Magpie and should he survive hopefully he will have learnt his lesson. Take it away Mr. Pugg.

Perception DC15:
You notice the Relish with which Mr. Plugg

Mr Plugg tugs at the rope as the unfortunate Magpie is
dragged under the ship for 12 rounds. What appears on
the other side has been cut to shreds and is soon thrown
overboard to feed the sharks.

Heal DC 15:
You estimate that Jakes took 24 hitpoint worth of damage and drowned.

Warren witnesses the keel hauling with a stony face. As a prisoner, he learned to keep his thoughts to himself, but inside he was fuming.

As they return to the cabin they share, Warren shares his feelings:
"That Magpie could just as easily be anyone who gets on the wrong side of those 'wags. We need to stick together and look out for each other, or we can find ourselves keelhauled one by one."

He hands out some clubs. "I found these clubs around the ship, I am definitely keeping one at hand. Anyway, I made friends with this half orc named Grok and she gets lonely with only someone named Kroop to drink with. It turns out she had my holy symbols, which she returned. Did anyone else find anything out?"

"Anyway, I am dead tired from swabbing decks. I need a good night sleep myself." He looks meaningfully at Rachel. "If someone is sneaky, maybe they can scout out the ship some. Tomorrow I plan on visiting Grok again to see what else she has and make up for many lost years in captivity. It would be easier if I had some good rum."

He holds the other four holy symbols of Besmara out for the others. "Anyone want to join me in saying a quick prayer to the Queen of the Seas?"

"Fella never had a chance."

To Kroop:

"Well sure there are other gang-pressed members of the crew or individuals such as me and yer self that have another way of thinkin' about pirating than the Harrigan? I 'd be keen on meetin' them. Always helps makin' friends on a ship like this."

Also during her cooking Rachel makes a mental inventory of all the items that are found in the galley, specific attention for items that could help cooking or weapons. Can she take 10 or even 20 with that. She has to look for ingredients and herbs and things like that anyway.
