Earl feels the thundering of many feet and 4 large constructs in the ground above him. He is quite confident that coming up above ground here would be very hazardous to his health.

Mike hears Lauriel's words and heads towards the fourth tower, nimbly keeping out of view of the still-distracted guards.

Exiel conjures his force sphere and prepares to cast his dimension door spell once it collapses. It rattles under a hail of rifle fire and tank ordinance.

Exiel you did not have a swift action left to use lay on hands last turn since you used an immediate action to cast EFS. You can do it this turn.

Mike sneaks along the fence while the soldiers fire on Exiel's invisible force sphere. Lauriel delivers her message to Rhon and 42 and then flies to join Mike at the fourth tower. Exiel delivers a little bit of healing to himself and continues to wait for his barrier to collapse. It does not happen this turn, but he can see that it is beginning to crack and will soon collapse.

Like a rotten tooth in an infected jawbone, the restored chapel sits in the prison’s central yard. Strange lights flickering from within, and its onion-shaped domes scintillate with a sickly purple light. Large stained-glass windows adorn the chapel’s otherwise solid stone exterior, depicting the fall of angels from the heavens, the miracles of saints, and the death of martyrs. Fortunately Mike is not the only creature suffering from ill fortune as the incorporeal creature is blinded by Exiel's glitter. Unable to see, it points blindly at where Earl was standing, and unfortunately aiming a touch attack at a large earth creature proves easy for the undead creature even when blinded. The spectral form of Earl is painfully crucified on the chapel doors, moaning in pain as his physical body collapses to the ground.

None of you are able to work out what the creature is or what it is doing to Earl, except that you are sure it is very bad for Earl.

[spoiler=GM]
2d20 ⇒ (11, 16) = 27

Althought Exiel and 42 feel some resistance to their spells, they manage to push through it. The incorporeal spirit is clearly damaged by the magical attacks. Unable to see where you are, the creature remains floating at the door, as if ready to retaliate once any of you give a hint as to your location.

Meanwhile, Earl's spectral form continues to writhe and languish in pain upon the chapel door.

Earl takes another negative level, total 3 now. Make another will save.
