FMC, not sure how this will play. Fearn wants to ready an action to scoop up his hammer and attack the shadow if it attacks his friends. Not sure how you want to rule the action economy. If that's not possible, I will settle for grabbing the hammer and moving to the crossbow.

In my minds eye, I say that you can do it - since you moved while keeping ilquis from the sun.

I guess I was hoping that the blindness was a temporary condition.
If it's blindness/deafness, it's permanent. We have to find a caster able to cast 3rd level spells who can cast remove blindness/deafness to remove it. So, perhaps the cleric in town? But it's 150gp a pop, so 300gp for both of us.
Here's hoping I give Ilquis a 150gp handicap too.

Okay, so, how can I actually hurt this thing? As far as I can tell, I could go into total defense and bark orders at it, or I could strike a deal with it with my pretty sweet diplomacy, if it speaks what I do, which I doubt.
That aside, can I actually do anything to wound this?
Without a magic weapon, your attacks do nothing.
Hint: take Sanira's chain. Fearn will probably know the above with his religion check, and Sanira is blind. Better than nothing.
We'll back you up. Fearn should smite it and you two can probably take it if it decides to get antsy.

Yeah , +1 is magic. I think the rule is material weapons do 1/2 damage to incorporeal creatures. Go to town on the shadow.

If he's discriminating against me religiously? I can't think of a time or description where Nicola displayed a holy symbol or religious preference on his person-- enough for this guy to look at me and go "Oh, he's a Desna worshipper". I can't recall if I ever did.
My holy symbol is hidden inside of a compass and I'm wearing long sleeves and a coat. The only visible tattoo is a seven-pointed star on Nicola's neck.

On a more business related note - since yall have an audience with the Kuthite Priest, make use of your time. Healing, services and goods are a given - but info and possbly a direction could be acquired with the right social interactions.
Also, this should be a given - Fr. Radu Miklos is overweight, but not infected with Tallowthroat so there's no fear of contractin the disease if you poke at his jolly belly - though you may be barking up the wrong tree.

I've enjoyed the game so far. The RP has been goooood. Ilquis trashed us, but I think we can take him next time. I'm looking forward to getting Sanira and Nicola healed up, try to get some more info out of the cleric and go kick some behinds.

1. Call it a night and rest ( even though we've been playing a little over 3 months, xD )
2. Explore the Baroi Mausoleum ( Conveniently nearby )
3. Return to the Mansion and confront the Baron
4. Hunt for Ilquis / Greater Shadow.
5. Wild Zura / Kuthite orgy while Fearn puts the PinBall Wizard Helmet.
as fun as option five sounds, my vote's already in.
1. Meta-gaming -- Fearn can use the rest to recover his strength damage and more importantly recharge his channels. I don't think that's his preference unless the others need to rest too.
2. My first choice. It's close, we're here. Shadrick seems keen on it. It might produce a clue.
3. My strong second choice. It would be my first choice if the mausoleum were not so close at hand.
4. They could be anywhere. Seems a bit of a goose chase.
5. Not the kind of role-playing I had in mind when I signed up. Fearn's player's going to need a Tommy helmet too. :-)
1. I want to rest soon because I'm down to charm person and bungle. Both of these only work on humanoids. I have a strong sense we will not be fighting any humanoids besides maybe the Baron.
