male human level 4 rogue

eh thats what i put as my action when my time comes...remember I am the member of the party least likely to be taken as a serious threat....and thats because I ain't

Pretty sure you're the one in Lucien's b&*&# slap range.

I envy him, but I have fetchlings to save.

LG Male, Dwarf Paladin of Torag 5 (HP 53/53)

Combat by imagination works for me. And should save you a ton of time.

I'm good with the ruling on the shot. The key to an easier shot would be to aim for a point on the rope just below the beam it's tied to. Swinging is less of a factor then.

So the neutral evil guy's saving the fetchlings while everyone else hurts Lucien?

This game is soooooo backwards.

male human level 4 rogue

GM Duboris needs to reclassified....as NG

Yeah, umm, no.

I'm too much of a Hedonist, and I'm only saving the Fetchlings because of my Worship to Zura. I know the Fetchlings are female, and I practically hate the abuse of women despite being a NE.

I'm most likely going to end up hitting on one of them.

That being said, I'm also the only person making an attempt to save the Fetchlings at all, and if Lucien is still alive when these ropes fall, and I haven't saved the 2 female ones, I'm probably going to peel him like a banana.

male human level 4 rogue

I meant that in jest

Oh. My bad :U

LG Male, Dwarf Paladin of Torag 5 (HP 53/53)

Fearn figures it will be a lot easier to save fetchlings if he's not fending off a mace at the same time.

Also, I've got house guests for the weekend arriving tonight. I probably won't be able to post until Sunday night or MOnday morning. FMC, please DMPC Fearn as needed.

Male Human Witch 4

I'm probably levitating one of them in just a moment before I hit Groy with one of my petty jerk spells.

I wanted to get evil eye out there just to see if I needed a move action for levitate's turn-- if I don't, and it's possible, I might try to run under the gallows to stand underneath one of the fetchlings and brace their feet with my cane.

male human level 4 rogue

ok guys time to ask if you could help your fellow player/GM. As im currently setting up a campaign called the arcane rebellions and I need additional recruits for a party of 4-5. Seeing as I am a first time GM i will need help figuring some things out. If you don't want to join though you could point friends in the general direction of my campaign.

DM's just a wee bit absent today, eh boys?

male human level 4 rogue

yep Duboris are you interested in the campaign im setting up as to be blunt I need more variety in my player selection.

Cookie Jar Pilferer 9 ; Dimensional Explorer 4

Viluki, I won't be joining you. RL dictates that I should be dropping PbP games, not picking them up, but FMC's intro paragraph to his recruitment thread was more than intriguing. I couldn't resist.

I will offer a bit of advice.

If you're DMing your post count will soar. You got to post two or three times as often as your average PC. And wading through all those posts, plus the posts of the PCs in the games your playing in to find what you wrote 4 days ago can be a pain.

So aliases (aliai?) can help you organize your posts. One for DMing, one for each of your characters. You can use the picture associated with the alias to help set the mood.

YMMV

male human level 4 rogue

thx

That also happens to mean you should get a picture and an alias for this campaign as soon as possible, on account of the fact that it's kind of odd to RP with your forum name.

The first 20 seconds of this sum up how this campaign has played out so far.

male human level 1 cleric, hp 9, ac 17, initative 0+, fort 3+, ref 0+ and will 5+

Don't worry the next disguise won't be a NG holyman

I'd personally prefer if your next disguise was, "Yourself not jumping onto the gallows to promote a mutiny of authority."

male human level 1 cleric, hp 9, ac 17, initative 0+, fort 3+, ref 0+ and will 5+

I do however vow that this disguise will be exceptionally comedical.

So, aside from everything else, am I the only one that senses the fact that, oh, I don't know...

WE COULD HAVE DIPLOMACIED OUT OF THIS AND FOUND OUT WHO OYLA WAS?
The man seems pretty dam distraught.

Not for nothing, but you've guys already made an impression.

>Enters sleepy backwater town within horrible shadowlands
>Proceeds to walk in a public display
>Picks a fight with diseased / distraught guard captain

My style of DnD - Jumping right in the middle of things since 2010

But seriously, I'm impressed with how the story's coming. I've been sluggish lately, so I'll get better.

In our defense, Lay priest of invincibility here was the one that belly flopped the diseased crowd.

Fearn's on autopilot till he says something in discussion, boys. It's Vlasko's turn again.

Also, Viluki. Mother of god.

Mother. Of. God.

male human level 4 rogue

If I survive the priest I promise will not come into play again...at least in combat...

male human level 4 rogue

If I do die I have a second character ready to be deployed with gms permission.

Map of Karpad's up, just look at "Campaign Info". While it amy be ovious, we're at that nasty looking sycamore tree within the center of all those buildings, fyi.

Right. Soooo. I'm under the impression that Viluki may be potentially screwed.

LG Male, Dwarf Paladin of Torag 5 (HP 53/53)

So is that a big temple to Zon Kuthon at the west end of the village in the map?

Awesome work with the whip, magic and cane. 3 fetchlings still among the breathing.

I'll admit. I had a bit of pride beating the paladin's diplomacy check.

And yes. Yes it is.

I suppose I'm supposed to be the one talking to the Fetchlings as they're love-struck when it comes to me. They probably like Vlasko too, but...

He's kind of not here.

Some people have to sleep. And work!

A little disappointing that everything went ripping by so quickly and that none of the fetchlings even noticed I helped, but hey, when the DM actually calls you "a useless person" in their descriptive text...

And then of course in this game I've gotten ninja'd more than I have in any other game. Argh.

I think he wasn't referring to *you* as useless. There WAS a priest here that kind of got the crap kicked out of him... who is no longer here.

Nicola, more sensible and focused on the matter had defeated the perception of being a useless man by performing a heroic action. Levitating the remaining fetchling female with his magic, Nicola switched to bracing the male with his cane.

I'm pretty sure he just flavorfully wrote that you surprised Lucien by not being a complete cripple.

I see it now, but it jumped out to me as a little rough. Then again, evil eye isn't exactly the most visual effect, and Groy backed down before I could make any good use of it.

male human level 4 rogue

am I alive or dead?

Oh sorry Viluki, I had forgotten about you.

Uhhh...well, since you vanish / fled your last turn, I'm going assume that you've bolted to some part of town where you feel safe - your cart perhaps?

I'd like to point out that much of Lucien Groy's attacks had damaged your Priest's attire, so its like were mugged - plus the town saw you...yea...

Anyways, I'll have your fort save result within the post.

Also Viluki, please update your character sheet to show the following:

Skill Ranks ( Your values for each skill that you want to use )
AC ( Ac, Touch, Flat Footed )
HP

Its a frustrating not knowing how much health you have left considering Lucien Groy had almost crit'ed you.

Please see to this soon.

male human level 4 rogue

I have 14 hp so yeah im in the -zone right now bleeding just say the fetchlings adored their....er savior my ac is 13

What did we learn?

male human level 4 rogue

the priest has served his purpose, phase 2 of Kast's ascension begins

I would suggest you stick with the dwarf for safety reasons.

If I have to! *awkward teenager sigh* ... just kidding, I will if you want.

I would have preferred to kip about with some people who are under the heel of oppression instead of sitting with Fearn and talking about my feelings with someone I was planning to permanently blind... but when life gives you lemons...

I think Nikola's a bit more vengeful than I thought, but that's how it goes I think.

I was talking to Viluki

Funny how PCs don't always conform to their player's initial conception.

"Fawning" was a decent choice of words.

Viluki.

So help me.

This game....

...You.

male human level 4 rogue

You did not look at the gm.....and spoil the surprise....

I didn't.

I can just *feel* you coming to these fetchlings we've done so well with.
And I can feel it... crumbling apart... I don't hit the spoilers, but I know that the less we know about your actions, the more in shit we are.
