2. If not, do we have things to do to fill the time or shall we fast forward. We have to visit Sandpoint and such, so we could play through a lot of days without looking for the next shard.
I like the idea of heading to Sandpoint, looking for a cleric for Gwen, maybe starting another building project. We still need to meet Hoid as well

Jo was a child who was born with a latent ability that began to develop as she aged.
This ability was to spontaneously grow her muscles and skeletal structure how she saw fit. However she couldn't control it.
Her parents kept the secret hidden as long as they could, but when she was discovered the townsfolk demanded her father kill her.
He took her out of tow, dug a grave, and buried a mutilated deer, to appease the townsfolk, sparing Jo.
She stayed in the wilds near the town until her parents died and then began travelling.

I have nothing yet, kyrt is busy working on something he said.
I am thinking more controllable growth. So it has combat uses as well as utility uses. A couple buffing spells as well that can be reflavoured as muscle growth or change. IE bulls strength or cats grace. Maybe haste. I am unsure on others.
Not any other abilities I can remember or think of.
If you have all the freedom it becomes hard to come up with something interesting without falling back on existing schemes I guess.
I'll do a little brainstorming about what kind of charachter I would do.
The avatar you chose is really nice.
More going, "I need wings, ok." and growing a grotesque bone and muscle structure out of your back to emulate wings.
"I need to run faster." Grow longer legs.
Basically emulating physical aspects of animals

I think the freedom is amazing, it is just going "What is something I have always thought cool in fantasy?" and suggesting the answer to Kyrt.
For me it was a dedicated partial shapechanger only limited by their imagination.
