Problem is probably that I don't really know what I want. Or how to properly compile what I want.
I want her to be a skill monkey. The best way to get that is bard. Also some spell utility. But besides invisibility I have all spells I want with some orisons and the three 1st level spells I have.
To be not completely useless in combat I need the martial weapon proficiencies. I probably could even live without doing a lot of damage if it wouldn't look so bad compared to what our paladin does. I planned her as an archer, but that was completely not manageable without the feats.

Show me the rules reference :P
As I wrote you can as well ignore it. I think it's just funny what one forgets in the fantasy world and what consequences this would have.
Running through town to find either a merchant who made enough in silver to change it or going to the temple of Abadar while 40 men and women wait impatiently for their promised wage :)

You can ignore this every time you want. Only if you have fun with that we could add playing out such situations. We also ignored the fact that we have hundreds of silver and copper coins from the cave with the hydra. For convenience we can always assume the money is magically there in the right kind of coins.

I don't think we have taken that much time.
I think we had
5 days of ship travel to Riddleport.
2 days to the ruins and back
5 more days of ship travel
2 Days in Sandpoint
1 day ship to Magnimar
And then it becomes vague
1 day searching for clues in Magnimar
7 days to clean out the Crow
1 day ship to the Lady's Light
5 days on the cape and in the light
1 day ship back
Summed up: 30 days.
Did I forget something?

I think this stuff is very hard roleplay wise.
Levels are an abstraction that have no equivalence in real life. You get a higher BAB and saves and stuff but everything but new abilities only increases one of your already existent abilities statistically. You might notice if you lose one use of your smite. Losing two BAB you would probably not notice at all. As you don't have uniform opponents and +2 doesn't show up short term with a variability on a roll from 1 to 20. Same for the saves.
So one would have to become creative. Level drain sucks the life out of you. Technically that was no level drain, but same effect. So you could feel a bit weak like if you had a light fever. Or something like rheumatic pains. Or your martial skill feels a bit rusted despite your training. "I already mastered that! Why do I make the same stupid mistakes again?"
Even Mrs. Heidmarch would only know that common knowledge (with high level mages) is that you need to cast restoration two times to remove all the negative side effects of a clone spell. There is no method described in the rules how to detect negative levels on a creature (as far as I know).

Formally it isn't.
Depending on where you are it is handled differently. Mostly possession for personal use isn't prosecuted. They close the case.
In Berlin Görlitzerpark they even gave up doing something against the dealers. While in Hamburg they defined danger zones where they could check people without further reasons and prosecute the cases even for possession of minor amounts.
But I was simply quoting a song :)
