DM Azure: Do I know anything about the wolf, what it is etc. I rolled earlier on arcana and nature but I can roll again if you want. It is pretty unique to encounter a talking wolf and I was just wondering

I have an app on my Apple Devices that is called 3D virtual tabletop (might also be on android). It will take pictures and make maps that you can include miniatures on. I suppose you could then save it as a picture and upload that
This is Kinshara's GM alias. I've set up a few google docs now. If you go to an existing one (there are some in my stat line) and choose a new presentation, it's semi-straightforwardish from there. The trickiest part is sharing permissions (blue button in upper right hand corner area). Don't try to add us to a share list...look for an option to create a share-enabling link.
Female Human (Mwangi - Bonuwat) Cleric of Iomedae 2
New party member please. We were struggling kind of pathetically in combat vs two undead wolves earlier. I'm good with not getting them right this moment, though.
I'd prefer a PC player, but I won't be howling about it if we do an NPC.
I think we need another meat shield so my vote is for Mary if we are doing an NPC
Second choice would be either Lady Cirthana or Vona (additional healing would be helpful, or possibly a skill monkey)
As a party I like the idea of moving to room 10 we can defend the double doors and still have an exit for perhaps someone to escape with the ingredients
DM if it is possible I would like to navigate to this location. And if it is possible I will convey this information to my party members
I'll be starting on Completing; Mary and two other recruitable NPCs.
Both were randomly generated, one I made earlier for a TTP Kingmaker game, the other last night..
while feeling a bit under the weather...
Finished the Character Data of Mary and the other two new recruitable NPCs (Mina and Noya).
I lost the original TTP one and remade it, though with a new randomised base race since I could not remember what it was.
Oddly both new recruitable NPC's have templates of same CR adjust and same base race....
first time that happen twice in a row for randomised NPCs, so I was bound to get a streak like that sooner or later according to the odds.
Found a possible new player.
I'd like your input on if you'd want him to join the game.
I'll give to Noon Tomorrow My time to vote. (About 14 hours from this post)
Female Human (Mwangi - Bonuwat) Cleric of Iomedae 2
I don't mind a new player. It sounds like he doesn't know about the setting really (in the gameplay thread he didn't seem to know who a god or goddess of dancing would be), but we can fill him in.
Thanks for the invite. I have only been on this site for a matter of hours, but I did check out the tail end of the Mr. Wolf encounter. Let me tell you about Wu Chen, who was named by my mother-in-law after I drew a monk in a kung fu pose. The literal translation is "no dust," and the figurative meaning (of not touching the earth) is to leave worldly possessions behind.
That said, Wu Chen didn't take a vow of poverty. Her vows are to remain weaponless and she will never lie with a man. A third vow would basically be the L in her LG alignment--all the things she does to remain on her goddess' path.
The goddess I have in mind is Nezha, a protection goddess who is revered as heaven's general but looks like a teenage girl. She is a spear dancer. I'm fine with shifting to an in-campaign equivalent.
Wu Chen is human, 19 unless there's a preference for mid-twenties or so.
Stats: 13s/18d/10c/12i/10w/14ch - 8hp/7sp/1kp... not that she can use her ki pool until Lv.4
Traits: Honored Fist (+1 ki pool), Martial Manuscript (+2 conf crit)
Feats: Weapon Finesse, Power Attack (yin-yang contrast intended), and Combat Reflexes for the monk bonus feat.
Skills: climb, swim, acro, escape, stealth, perform:dance, knowledge:religion... I am clueless about the game's religion, so help is appreciated here!
Oh... and I get a language. If there's an "Eastern" language, I'll make that her native tongue. If not, suggestions are welcome.
On a semi-related note, my wife is Chinese, so while I will admit I never got past the just-enough-Cantonese-to-order-lunch-by-myself phase when I lived in Hong Kong, I can at least assure you I won't botch the culture flavor of a Chinese-based character.
@AZ, the Janni Style seems perfect for a dancing acrobat! If Wu Chen get to Lv.11, she will be a Janni Master!
Oh... and before my break ends, one more question or two:
1. Where do I post character info?
2. How do I roll? (I normally use rolz.org, but this site might have something built in.)
PS- I just figured out mid-post how to show up as Wu Chen, and not that goofy laughing guy I use as Legendary Sidekick.
Oh, I don't even know about the D&D feat--just that I wouldn't deny my character a share of treasure. The vows are strictly RP. So was the perform:dance, but now that I know about the Janni style I can make dancing combat-useful.
Her build won't be optimal, but I'm hoping she'll be fun. I tend to play high STR characters, so this will be a melee character but with some feats I normally don't use.
Shelyn, the Eternal Maiden is a goddess of protection, song and art. Wu Chen can dance to the tune of songbirds. Maybe is what she does when the cleric is praying. (Do you pray at dawn for spells? I tend to play religious non-magic characters, and they try to do their thing when other religious characters do unless they need to be on watch at that time.)
Tian Xia is likely where Wu Chen is from. For linguistics, her native tongue will be whatever the people of Tian Xia speak. I'm not concerned about it being a useless language in-game. (Can always blurt out secrets to someone who has comprehend languages active, right?)
There is are groups of Tian in Land of the Linnorm Kings and other lands near the Crown of the World.
Language is Tian, and their are sub groups of Tian.
Also laying in the ground work for something that might be more interesting.....
(Nearly finished planning it before I ask if folks want to go with it.)
Looking forward to it. In the meantime, I added feats/skills/traits to my profile. I assume I'm Lv.1, so I labeled feats to show what I plan to have by Lv.11. +2 to confirm crit is kinda meh, so I went with Sacred Touch as my faith trait. I always like to play characters who heal the dying, so consider Wu Chen your nonmagic back-up healer.
I'm not sure what she starts the game with. Do I roll for a random amount of $?
