So, personally, the short-guy/tall-girl thing isn't for me, BUT... for my character's dad, it seems to be working out. (I think you said Vona was the shy one?)
Kojima-San and Vona make a cute couple. Nice work on the 3D images!

My daughters are in dance, so the vertical leg overhead is a common stretch that 10-to-12-year-olds can do, and they either make it look like a perfectly natural stance, or the same girl might be just a little off balance, forcing her to drop the leg.
A realistic die-roll scenario for a Lv.1 fledgling desperately trying to get a potential stepmom's attention.

Kinshara Medaan |

Back from the convention now. I don't have time to catch up on Gameplay quite yet, but I'll do that soon. In case you want it, here's a link to the Golarion calendar.
I'll have Kinshara's birthday on the 5th of Kuthona (December). I put her age at 25 when we started.

I suppose if Wu Chen is legitimately working as part of the entertainment, she might happen to hear something. Skill-wise, she's not the ideal spy: stealthy, but not perceptive.

The most perceptive is Corindus but he is not a likely spy either. But I suppose anyone of us could do the spying if we had a good enough cover story. I’m willing if no one else is but I’d need help with a good story and I’m not the most perceptive either only +3 on Perception checks

Sister Wu Chen |

Personally, I'm fine with Wu Chen doing that.
Realistically, her father should be strongly against it if it involves suspicious behavior.
Telling the kid to keep her ears open is fine. (I'm an overprotective father of daughters, so RP'ing Kojima's feeling on this isn't a stretch for me!) That could easily be spun as a way for the kid to stay safe.

Sister Wu Chen |

For the dance, could acro/perform checks be take-tens, under the condition that the dance moves are (1) well-rehearsed moves--meaning WC is mixing in moves she's been performing for the past year or so--and (2) that the moves are DC15? A DC20 is above my Take Ten, so no off-wall flips.
My thought is to just narrate a piece of the routine if there's a GM post narrating Vona's song (and its meaning or translated lyrics) cuing me to post the dance. No biggie if you time-skip through it. I'm guessing the fireworks scene will be the storm after the calm.

Mina the tailor, not the half-minoitaur one, can make clothes.
Price: Clothes
Candy and flowers will be in copper or silver coin range.

DM Azure_Zero |

If we have the funds for it, I'd like to get Kinshara a courtier's outfit with the jewelry needed. That's 80 gold.
I'll remind you, this is a small poor town with a good sized criminal underbelly for the town's size.
Wearing a lot of expensive jewellery will make you a target for thieves. Also I should of noted that Peasant clothes/dresses are common date clothes here.
Though you could ask Mina the Tailor to make it a bit more fancy and increase the price 2 to 10 times.

Darion The Diviner |

Darion will go with the peasants clothes from Mina at the ten times the cost (that would be 1gp right if peasants clothes are 1 silver piece)

Still getting the hang of drawing digitally, but here's some artwork I did for the world's largest paper airplane.
For a frame of reference, here's the same fairy drawn with a no.2 pencil and colored digitally.
(I meant to share some Wu Chen art when there was a conversation about the rendered PCs and NPCs, but the drawing was a couple years old and too crappy to post. So instead I'm showing art that has nothing to do with this game at all.)

Sister Wu Chen |

@AZ, whenever life stops kicking your butt, I'm ready to get Wu Chen on the stage. I keep checking in for new posts, and I'm currently not in any other games.

DM Azure_Zero |

*Tries to hand DM patented 'Block chisel'* (^_^)
I think I'll Need more then a chisel at the moment, and a plunger is not the best tool either.

Corindus Droven |

My apologies that I have been falling behind on posts here and not doing my part to move things forward.
Admittedly, I've been having some writer's block with Corindus. Given the current situation with the festival, I'm not sure what else he might do right now beyond patrolling the town to ensure the locals don't have too much fun and that no one gets hurt.

Sister Wu Chen |

Funny Wu Chen's performance comes up now. I just spent the evening at my daughters' block rehearsal. They (3 of them!) dance on Saturday.

DaaaaaaaaaaaaAAAAAAD!!!

Darion The Diviner |

I know that Eve’ Magic is innate but is there any chance Darion could learn anything from her?
I too am struggling for what else we should be doing during this festival any ideas or suggestions?

Sister Wu Chen |

Will await GM call—if beating DC15 is enough, performance went well. (Was gonna edit in other moves as seen in rehearsal, but gotta run and editing window will close soon—so a call on my 18; description from me later.)
Have friends over until Tuesday evening, so I may not be able to post for a few days.

Sister Wu Chen |

Added acro, and was mentally prepared to fall off the stage (nat.1), but rolled a 22!

Sister Wu Chen |

Is Wu Chen's moment on stage over? I ask because it occurs to me that Wu Chen would be curious about the people who rescued Vona. Given her words to her goddess, her next 'move' is to speak to Vona backstage—in OoC terms, she'all more or less ask about the other players.

I'll allow learning spells from Eve, but remember she's not a infinite collection of spells, she only as a small amount.

Sister Wu Chen |

Kinshara just has clothes on and no gear at this point.
Wu Chen could normally fight perfectly with just her clothes or even just a potato sack. But when wearing both at once, and when the sack doesn't have holes cut for arms and legs to stick out...

Sister Wu Chen |

Unfortunately, the deputy is left embarrassed by the sight of ladies' clothing. Despite himself, his eyes keep drifting to the unmentionables rather than in pursuit of clues.
Y'know... if those kidnappers just waited 5 minutes, Wu Chen would have packed her rainbow-striped tights in her suitcase and the deputy would've been undistracted and rolled at least a DC15.
And maybe Wu Chen shouldn't have thrown a drawer full of bras at the guy with the potato sack. Hindsight is 20/20.

Sister Wu Chen |

I expected Wu Chen would be crying when I rolled CHA.
Wish I rolled like that when rolling Escape Arts!

Sister Wu Chen |

Oh... that's cool! So if Darion hears Wu Chen, he knows he's within 110 feet.
Is there a word-limit for Wu Chen's reply? (Will await GM confirmation that Wu Chen hears the message, of course.)

DM Azure_Zero |

I really like the effort,
But
You can whisper messages and receive whispered replies. Those nearby can hear these messages with a DC 25 Perception check. You point your finger at each creature you want to receive the message. When you whisper, the whispered message is audible to all targeted creatures within range. Magical silence, 1 foot of stone, 1 inch of common metal (or a thin sheet of lead), or 3 feet of wood or dirt blocks the spell. The message does not have to travel in a straight line. It can circumvent a barrier if there is an open path between you and the subject, and the path’s entire length lies within the spell’s range. The creatures that receive the message can whisper a reply that you hear. The spell transmits sound, not meaning; it doesn’t transcend language barriers. To speak a message, you must mouth the words and whisper.
Effectively there is a Line of sight requirement part, but also a non line of sight part.
So I'll be saying Darion must choose a direction to point and message works in that general direction.

I have Ideas and going and getting ready to Update the Group height ref render of the party for the Time skip
I'm assuming a Fully grown Wu Chen will be:
5' 6" to 5'8" (as it is currently 5' 4" and age 12)
Green Eyes (Eyes of Jade, could be said to be a blessing from Shelyn)
Long Black hair.
To Note these Ideas have rewards and consequences of actions and choices.

Yeah, I like the jade eyes. (The real life reason an Asian would have green/blue eyes is a mutation in the OCA2 gene, which results in failure to produce the brown pigment. Boooooooriiiiing fact! I'll take the goddess' blessing!)
Motherhood isn't what I want for Wu Chen's future though. One of her (adult) vows to the Eternal Maiden is not to lie with men—in other words, eternally be a maiden. This technically doesn't take women off her list, but I don't plan on that for her, and such a relationship wouldn't result in biological children anyway.

DM Azure_Zero |

It'll all be choices and actions, some of which I will say could be a hard choice for the character.
These Ideas go have some great rewards as some consequences will be intermediate or minor
And one idea can have a risk vs reward component added.
All this is Pre-Time Skip, some will effect the time skip some, and
Wu Chen being a mother or dating will not happen for this time skip.
