at the risk of being a pest; Eb goes before the bat so his evil eye takes affect on his initiative count, and the bat has a -2 on its round 2 action, which means it missed Dolgrin. Also, didn't Triba's CMW potion heal all of Dolgrin's damage?


no worries about being pesky, i can and do make mistakes...just not this time.

surprise round, bat one init between him and Dolgrin, and crit him and dropped him, until Triba pointed out that 17 hp at level 3 seems low, so I did a minor rewind, damage on, CLM on but surprise round gone because we already went to round one.

round 1: you cast misfortune, it saved it then attacked Dolgrin and hit for 11 damage.
round 2: evil eye, fails save, so this round now takes a -2 to atk...make sense?

So currently we have bless & inspire courage (correct me if I'm wrong) running?

So +1 morale bonus on attack & saving throws vs fear and enchantment spells and +1 competence bonus on attack & weapon damage.
The bonus vs fear overlaps as they are both morale bonuses.
If Marvin gets his Freebooter's Bane going, that would be another +1 untyped bonus to attack and damage.

Which would total us at +3 bonus on attack & +2 bonus on weapon damage :)

About the scratching we here on the other side of the door, if it's a swarm, do we have any tools against it? I know I don't have any AoE attacks, spells, alchemist's fire or acid flasks that can deal with swarms.

Items I know went to a certain person or were going to go to a certain person (if not added to their sheet yet) have the name of that person added behind it.

Going back through the posts made me notice a few things :
- We never checked the duergar for items after the big fight where Triba joined.
- I think we had the key for the chest guarded by the statues
- That's a whole bunch of stuff we got there. I did see that Eb mentioned this on the first page of the gameplay topic "Eb will stock up on food (bumping to 1 weeks worth of trail rations), and look into buying a mule or pack horse for everyone's gear.", which might come in handy :)

Let me know how we plan on dividing the loot proper?

Was personally thinking of maybe taking Heavy Armor proficiency as a feat, to be able to wear the MW Fullplate. @GM, how much would it cost to have it refitted to my character? From the Fullplate entry: Each suit of full plate must be individually fitted to its owner by a master armorsmith, although a captured suit can be resized to fit a new owner at a cost of 200 to 800 (2d4 × 100) gold pieces.

As stated in the gameplay topic, we could still go check if there's anything worthwhile in the "Brown Mold" room (3a & 3b) (other than skeletons), but someone would need to prepare ray of frost to deal with the mold then. :-)

I would guess that they want you to actually roll the 2d4, so the price would be completely off of chance. IMHO.

I will have to see how much coin we have for buying stuff. There's not much stuff which actually appeals to me on the list.

If I have enough cash I'd like to magic the my bow up to +1 and add adaptive. I would also like to get a mithril chain shirt (and make it magic if I can afford it).

Leveled up to 5th, but I'm waiting to update my profile for when I figure out what gear I will have available. No point in doing it twice.

Took iron will, and upped my strength to 12. That's really all the significant changes (other than normal advancement of skills). Also, my freebooter's bane increases to +2 which is nice.

Well once we figure out everything we wish to sell from the list, we can go about figuring out how much gold we have available for upgrades.
I quickly summed up the known value of all the money and items that sell for their apparent value (didn't feel checking the armor/weapon list for prices yet, also because I don't know what we're going to sell)
And I came to a total of 3641-3691 GP 9 SP 5 CP. And this is not counting the unappraised items with a fixed value, so I think a +1 bow should be possible. Depending on those unappraised items and our surplus weapons/armor maybe even adaptive. :-)

Another point, I wouldn't mind giving up the Pearl of Power/Ring of protection to even out loot division if it would seem necessary.

Currently I have a pearl of power lvl 1 (1000 GP), ring of protection +1 (2000 GP) and was looking at the full plate to increase my AC (1500 GP worth + 200 to 800 GP to make it fit for my character), so that would be around 4700 GP - 5300 GP worth of the total loot, so seems a bit much, compared to the rest for now.

Two important things of my character getting to lvl 5.
1) lvl 3 spells ^_^
2) I now have a +2 to initiative thanks to my archetype (half class lvl on initiative), and you guys all get a +1 to initiative thanks to the same ability (as for allies it's only 1/4 my class level), but only when you can see/hear me, which shouldn't be that much of a problem most of the time ^_^

Seeing as WBL for a lvl 5 character is 10,500 gp per character. I think we're currently going to end up under that amount, as I don't think some of the unidentified/unappraised items we found are going to have super high gp values :-)

The only thing missing from the loot list is the fact that I have that 500gp Duergar coin. If I remember right, I'd done the appraising and told the party it was worthless. ;-)

I'm not certain what would happen in that one room we could look at on the way out (the mold room with the 2 skeletons), but if nothing much is happening before we sell the loot and buy upgrades, it might be nice if we could figure out the totals, so we can see what Marvin could use for bow & armor upgrades :)
