Personally, if it's just the 3 of us going further I think it would be best to close the game.
I am glad though that we got to the end of the first dungeon. It was a fun experience for which I am grateful.

I would love to still draw from the deck. Curious what I would have gotten :-)

I'm up for either option. This has been a fun game, and I'd hate for it to die, but that seems to be the case for the majority of PbPs. :-(


I understand the life expectancy of a PbP is short, but I would like to say thank you to Wb, Dol, Binx, Marv & Triba for the enjoyment of allowing to DM for you folks. Since the game will be drawing to a earky close, I would at least like to see "what may have happened", when you won the race. Please bear in mind that you would have been ~ 10th level when first given the opportunity to draw.

I agree with starting above level one. Most games start at first level and end fairly quickly, so mid-high level gameplay is rare.


The next concept I was thinking was:

Cheliax wants to expand their empire, and the PCs are all members of the Chelish Empire Army. You go on missions, sent by your captain in order to help procure resources, disrupt enemy supply flow, covert missions to sow discretion amongst the enemy, etc.

The twist is, the PCs are genetically engineered Tieflings, base stats are all 18 (before racials). Starting level would be around 3-5ish is what I am thinkng.

Thoughts, concerns, questions?

I was part of a short-lived campaign that had a similar idea. High point-buy, Tieflings only, randomly-assigned traits from the "variant heritage" table in "Blood of Fiends". Didn't last too long, but it was fun while it lasted.

IMO, all 18s is kind of boring and uniform. Maybe go with a high point-buy, Gestalt/Free Archetypes, or a Mythic Tier or two instead.

To reiterate one of my previous posts, I'm willing to run a custom campaign for anyone who's interested. I've done this a few times for as few as a single PC and base the game around the player's interests. For example, I used to run a solo campaign for my wife. She played a scholarly Sage Sorcerer who was trying to solve some of Golarion's great unsolved mysteries.


What if you were trying to combat Chelish rule?

Perhaps a 25 point buy, gestalt?

Just glad I finally got the gestalt add on to Hero Lab installed. That really does simplify stuff.

Leveling would still be free-form (essentially when I say so lol)

mythic is still up in the air, may come into play during mid-high level but not from the get go.

Starting level would be 3rd most likely, may lean towards ACG only (swash, warpriest,etc). This displays you are specialized PC's sent to combat the growing Chelish threat?

I would open this up to the general population, but those interested here would claim a spot is you are interested :)

SO it would be a group of "Binx", "Marvin" with 2 others from gen pop.

One thing about the concept. ACG only classes with gestalt would make for only a few "viable" combinations, as some classes are part of 2 or more of the hybrid classes. But does make for some nice combinations :)

Was personally looking at the Slayer/Shaman combo. Only problem would be that I would need Strength, Dexterity & Constitution for being in melee, while needing Wisdom & Charisma for my Shaman abilities. :-)


5) avoid any situation you choose, once only

Overall not a bad draw.

I would open it up to all classes (core, apg, uc, um, acg)
Also no synth summoners, and open archetypes but archetypes are not allowed for acg classes since your are meshing 2 classes already. But if you went say brawler/fighter (unbreakable) since you have actual fighter :)

Yup, I think Dolgrin will plop that castle somewhere in his homelands and retire from adventuring. :)

I get what you're saying about hybrid classes not being allowed archetypes specific to the classes they are based on, as hybrids have their own archetypes.

But do you mean that if one would want, they could take one of the classes they are based on as the other side of their gestalt? Not certain if that is your intention.


Correct you could go acg 2 / core 3. Take an archetype for the core side and that would be perfectly acceptable.

Although I have rest actions of using acg in gestalt, since acg is already "gestalt" in a way.

Thoughts?
