Jess Door GM |

Well, here it is. Please take a look at the Wrath of the Righteous Player's Guide (you can download it free with an account), and think about what characters you want to create.
Characterization Guidelines
I want this to be a heroic crusade, and I would prefer if the characters could be created such that they could form something along the line of a holy order. Characters with a strong religious background with a good god that lends itself toward crusading against demons will be greatly preferred. Non-good characters are a possibility only if they're somehow on a path of redemption - a thorough background is a must for characters like this.
Think Sparhawk and his band of church knights from the Elenium and the Tamuli by David and Leigh Eddings. The knights were from different orders, and they picked up squires, thieves and sorceresses and other diverse companions along the way, but they were at heart a group of adventuring paladins.
Character creation rules:
- Given that this is mythic, I think characters should have a 20 point buy.
- Given the feel of the campaign I'd prefer, I'm not really interested in having gun using characters.
- Given past experience trying to run a campaign with a summoner in the group, I'm not signing up for that much extra work again, and summoners are not allowed.
- 2 Traits at first level - 1 should be a campaign trait.
- Max HP at Level 1. From there forward it will be rolled or take the average (rounded up). You must choose before you roll (or don't roll), but may change your mind from level to level if you wish.
- Rolled gold appropriate for your class (rolled in creation post).
- FAWTL applicants preferred.
Proposed house rules:
- Fighters get 4 skill points / level. Acrobatics and Perception are class skills.
Hm. Anything else?

Huzzah!
Alright, I have a few concepts I'm bandying about, the deciding factor will mainly be what's allowed/available as far as 3rd-party products go. If stuff isn't allowed for one reason or another, I've got or can cook up Paizo-rules concepts that will work as well.
My first idea is a [Taskshaper], which I have played before (in a high-level one-shot no less). Think of it as a Final Fantasy Blue Mage with additional shapeshifting abilities. It's a fair bit of bookkeeping in turn, but the paperwork is pretty much all player-side, so no extra burden on the GM. The basic concept is a scholar who has studied the fiends of the Worldwound and has equipped themselves to use their own weapons against them.
Secondly would be a psionicist of some stripe, using the [Dreamscarred Press Psionics Unleashed]. Still going a scholarly route, more than likely, but further detail on the backstory will depend on which class I pick.
Third option would be if neither of those is okay; at that point trying to decide between a Paladin or an Oracle of some stripe.
Thoughts? Headed to bed now but will check this in the morning =)

Aaliyah El-Amin |

Here's the character I've been shopping around. Her PB is 25 at the moment because of the first game she was applied to being VoV's, but I'll probably have that adjusted downward tonight or tomorrow. As for Campaign Trait, it will /probably/ be "Touched by Divinity (Fire Domain)" but I'd prefer to discuss the mechanics of that if selected.

Orthos |

I have no third party products, Orthos. I would like to stick to Paizo products, but if you can provide a link (maybe d20pfsrd.com has something up?) I will take a look at some of those ideas.
Links are provided in the prior post =) Edited to put brackets around them so they're easier to see.
Regardless of class, I'm about 90% sure the character will be a changeling as far as race.

I would consider either a Ranger - possibly with the Guide format. Somebody's got to guide these paladin's through the wilds of Mendev, and yet believe in their cause enough to stick around. ;-)
Or to add support and strength, I would look at Cleric (Crusader) archetype. I am considering Sarenrae as his patron, which I hope doesn't sound like one too many followers considering Aaliyah's class-type.
I will work up both tomorrow, but want to be flexible to suit both the campaign and party needs.

I loved those books.
Dotting :)

Jess, do we need to get GM approval for racial alternates such as the half-orc city-raised?
What book is that from?
After sleeping on it I've narrowed down my choices a bit. If the Taskshaper is okay, I'll go with that; if not, Oracle, probably either Battle or Metal mystery.
Is there any online accessible version of this I can look at? I don't know what blue mages are, I need more information.
Mind if I join the party, or are you guys full?
Don't know yet! But if you'd like to create something, please feel free! Worse comes to worst, maybe someone else wants to pick up another group of players. :)
Think I will make a human paladin but is the fey foundling feat allowed from inner sea world guide.
Other than the restrictions above (don't like guns for this, don't like dealing with summoners), Paizo products are allowed. If I run into any issues during player, we'll discuss them from there.
I'm totally exposing my newness here, but what does FaWTL stand for?
FAWTL = the Forums Are Way Too Long - an ancient post started in the prehistory of Golarion, that exploded into silliness and has never stopped. We're on threat #6 now - they get so long they break the forums and have to be closed down.
I....think that's all the major questions.

Eh, don't worry about it, since it seems to be a bit of a headache =) Going to go with the Oracle. Need to pick a mystery now.

ARG. [Also listed here.]

Dunno about a book, but I'm going off the srd.
City-Raised Half-orcs with this trait know little of their orc ancestry and were raised among humans and other half-orcs in a large city. City-raised half-orcs are proficient with whips and longswords, and receive a +2 racial bonus on Knowledge (local) checks. This racial trait replaces weapon familiarity.
Was also considering swapping toothy for orc ferocity.
Toothy Some half-orcs' tusks are large and sharp, granting a bite attack. This is a primary natural attack that deals 1d4 points of piercing damage. This racial trait replaces orc ferocity.
Orthos linked Taskshaper in his first post, but also on the srd.
Or I could be ninja'd on all counts.

Greetings Jess Door, all.
I would like to express my interest in this campaign. I am considering a Aasimar (Azata-Blooded) or straight human bard with the Chance Encounter trait (from the Wrath of the Righteous players book).
That is where my thoughts are right now. I just got home from work (I work in the very early AM) so I am going to get a few hours of sleep before I sit back down and work out more of the details. Suggestions are welcome.

Arcane Archer Elf |

I would like to submit Jeras Devaron. Demon Hunter, and Knight of the Crusade. He is an archery based Paladin. I will have to come with a background and adjust him to your specs as soon as I get the chance. Would it be possible for me to just take the average starting wealth for my class? I would much rather not roll. It's totally up to you, though.

Working along on my bard here...
Question, to anyone out there: I am considering playing a 'small' Aasimar. Thoughts? It is merely cosmetic, though I would have to go with small weapons and the like. It is just a concept that seems, interesting. I guess what I am looking for, is the 'small' too much of a hindrance to the overall concept (An Assimar Bard)?
Wealth Roll 3d6 ⇒ (3, 3, 1) = 7 x10 = 70gp
