Balthe quickly moves and pins the troll

just give up!

Balthe, do you not lose Dex when grappling? So you would essentially be flat footed or did I miss something somewhere. Also can I full round attack if I am the grappled not the grappler?

Balthe easily restrains and pins the brutish troll.

Initiative tracker: round 2; 20' from group at corner of western turn.

Balthe: done (pinning troll, advantage)

Grappled Condition gives a -4 on Dex, which would still make his AC at least 18.

SRD about being grappled:

If You Are Grappled: If you are grappled, you can attempt to break the grapple as a standard action by making a combat maneuver check (DC equal to your opponent's CMD; this does not provoke an attack of opportunity) or Escape Artist check (with a DC equal to your opponent's CMD). If you succeed, you break the grapple and can act normally. Alternatively, if you succeed, you can become the grappler, grappling the other creature (meaning that the other creature cannot freely release the grapple without making a combat maneuver check, while you can). Instead of attempting to break or reverse the grapple, you can take any action that doesn't require two hands to perform, such as cast a spell or make an attack or full attack with a light or one-handed weapon against any creature within your reach, including the creature that is grappling you. See the grappled condition for additional details. If you are pinned, your actions are very limited. See the pinned condition in Conditions for additional details.

Now a stupid question maybe but how long has it been since we got the "encounter" with the dwarves at the door and now. I ask because, when they opened the door I had around 20 minutes left on my Tongues spell.

Tongues is gone. It would have expired during the mini-feast.

No acid here. Unless we found it since the shipwreck, I'm not optimistic. We really didn't start with much. Anyone have acid splash? Somehow I doubt it since we lost our arcane caster.

As Wulfgar so eloquently indicated, he has at least one flask of acid.

Wulfgar nods at the troll, fishing out one of his four acid flasks, and saying to Balthe

bwa ha ha It is good to be sharrrreink a drink with others rrrright bouncer balthe. be holdink his mouth open and I will be poorink it!

do I need to roll an attack if I use a full round like a coup-de-grace?

damage: 1d6 ⇒ 1

that's awful, do I need to use a second or a third?

Wulfgar with his acid is enough to stop the regenerative qualities of the troll. The group kills off the very real threat.

Wulfgars smile turns into a fake frown, his right eye spinning and twitching, as he tosses the empty flask and stands up shouldering his greatsword he says with a gleam in his left eye

You travel another minute or so, making multiple turns and the sounds of battle get louder and louder. You then reach the source of the fighting, you see a brute of a troglodyte before you. He wields a battleaxe, wearing a suit of half-plate. It appears to be locked in battle with Rory the Dwarven king.

Rory is not alone, as he has brought his own army to combat the small army before you. You gave them boxed in, but it apears to be a hard battle as a dwarf falls before your eyes at the ace of the brutish trog.

The smell is overwhelming, worse then it has ever been.

Liam, inspires his allies, granting them stronger wills than the enemy, and he bolsters the Dwarves as well. Wulfgar takes a mighty swing, but it clangs off the half-plate. The attack gives Nils an opening to deliver a deep gash to the enemies' chest. Liam takes the opening afforded by Nils as he is able to wrap his whip around the leg of the beast of an enemy and bang him crashing to the ground. He follows it up with another quick lashing.

1d20 + 14 ⇒ (10) + 14 = 241d20 + 9 ⇒ (1) + 9 = 10
1d8 + 6 ⇒ (2) + 6 = 8

The Dwarven king, Rory takes two swings. The first connects with the now squirming troglodyte, another gash open on its leg.

The troglodyte, still very much pissed off, attack from its back, exacting revenge on Nils. His flurry of attacks all scraping against his armor, despite his angered state.

The Dwarven priest, channels energy to heal everyone.
