The fools who face the Queensguard

Belym's boulder and Remorse both fly at the black figures. just before they strike, their targets dive out of the way. Bely'ms target is completely clear, escaping the boulder and Ron's target takes the blow in his heavily armoured shoulder, and the both keep coming.

they are upon you in seconds, two fly at Conwall, while a third dashes for Ron. When you're up this close, the Guards' quick movements and constant stream of shadow-stuff leaves their actual position quite vague. What do you do?

Also, I can see how my narration may have confused things, but the Quetzal demon isn't dead yet. someone may want to deal with that.

The Prodigal daughter

You find Cassandra rummaging through a trunk in one of the rooms, stuffing things from it into a sack. If you were forced to guess, this was Cassandra's old room.

out the window, you can see the town square, now a military camp. all around it, demonic soldiers are preparing for battle, retrieving weaponry, donning (Mercifully light) armour, and getting into formation. behind them, you see a number of cultists begining a ritual, not unlike the one that opened the Ghostmoor gate. and at the centre of it all is Einora, the lady herself.

you expected her to be taller, though in fairness, it does not affect how intimidation she looks in the slightest. she hovers over the troops, wreathed in divine flame, garbed in gem-encrusted armour, her long hair adorned with a dozen or more decorations. Her eyes are her most notable feature, however. in them you see Danyal, her fury, her righteous passion, and you see Sepraheim, her hatred, her viciousness. What do you do?

Stupid.

The templar’s chakram was cracked, her khanda all but destroyed, her knife and comb in hands she should not trust, her garments dyed an unprecedented gold. Was there even enough discipline left to stand against Her?

Einora was used to having a strong woman at her side. The reformed pactling literally fit her boots well enough. Was there enough wickedness in her to catch the Goddess’ eye?

Her hand falls on something else in her belt, and she remembers she never had an aptitude for discipline, and she has not been much of a seducer. No, there is only one thing Roshan has going for her.

Wrath.

Roshan’s hand wraps around the handmade reed, checking that she has at least one more dart loaded. Thick, crimson droplets fall and pool at her feet as she closes the distance to the window. She watches Einora for the right angle, the right location to take Her by surprise. "Bring me my sword and you may do as you wish, but you are safest at my side."

Belym

You look out onto the battlefield. you notice that the portal has not stablised itself yet. you suspect Ron's magic could shut it, but the best you can do is wall it off. However, in your scan, you notice the church tower. a beautiful thing of stone, badly damaged by Einora's rage. The lady is close enough to ti that, if you collapsed it just right, you could drop it on her.

you somehow doubt it will kill her, but it would buy you a moment or two.

Tom

Sir Bonney, You, like many, are under the impression that I am the god of mindless betrayal, of chaotic backstabbing for the hell of it. as much as I would love to educate you on the reality,as we are in the middle of the most dangerous situation you have ever been in, suffice it to say that my treachery is with purpose,a nd it is beneficial for me to work with you. Ishvar says, staring outside at Einora, setting the town ablaze

If you want to go back to Ron & Conwall, no roll is nessesary, just stop when you get to Belyms Ice Wall

Roshan

You have a hard choice before you. you can either go throgh a window, two stories lower than you(taking 1d6 damage from the glass,a dn another d6 ignoring armour from the fall), or you can be just clinging on, and mark weak from the strain. what do you do?

Forgive me if I gave that impression, would you think I would expose my back so readily t' you if I thought you would betray your own interest so readily? I am just saying that if there is any aspect of your domain that could change this would be the opportunity t' do so. After all, you know the Father and Sons better than I will ever...

Female Dwarf Channeler 8 (23/28 hp, 1 armor, d4 damage, 2/15 xp) (Str -1, Dex +2, Con +3, Int +2, Wis +1, Cha +0)

Belym runs her fingers over the shape of the shield, leaving behind a thin layer of jagged stones, and slightly alerting the overall shape. A few clear patches remain on the shield's face with runework visible. " One good blow will knock this off, and anyone with a good look might still recognize it, but I hope that will help." she says. This feels like Trickle to me, but I can roll for Bender if you think I should.

As the priest and the god move off, Belym closes her eyes and seeks through the earth for a particular echo...

Summon Hazard Elemental (ice): 2d6 + 3 + 1 ⇒ (5, 1) + 3 + 1 = 10

Ron sends Remorse flying underhanded at the brace of daggers.

Magic Spear: 2d6 + 3 ⇒ (2, 6) + 3 = 11

Damage: 2d4 ⇒ (1, 3) = 4

As the spear disappears in a flash of lightning, Ron rolls to recover his shield. As he stands, Remorse is once again in his hands, but only for a moment. The spear again flies true, this time at the downed cultist.

Spend 1 hold to deal 6 damage to Conwall's attacker.

Comwall! The armor!

What should I be on the lookout for?

Tom and Belym

The courtyard is still full of soldiers. if you want to do anything in there, defy danger to do it before you are detected.

Roshan

The room is a one-story building, used as an armoury. brass spears and swords and axes littler the place, as well as armour. you somehow doubt that this will stop her from attacking. if she continues on the way she has been, the building will likely colapse. you need to keep moving. what do you do?

Ron and Conwall

That spear will kill the one on the ground. Information for Conwall's post

Roshan pulls a shortsword from a rack by the door to pair with her talwar. The balance is off, but it's better by far than fighting with a single blade. Her eyes linger for a moment on the armour, but she's out of the armoury in time to smell that part of the building vaporize, and feel the ground shudder.

Running out into the street, Roshan feels exposed, but she focuses on the door to building in front of her sets off along the street at a full run. Her path so far is tracing a ragged circle around Einora's position, keeping Her in range, and moving to a position that put Her between Roshan and the party.
Defy Danger(CON): 2d6 + 2 ⇒ (6, 2) + 2 = 10

How was she going to find an opening?

Silence.

How was she going to land another hit?

Silence.

What if I get hit.

Silence.

Roshan shrouds herself in wrath to keep out the discouraging questions. She focuses on her burning muscles, the distance to the next shelter, and the rhythmic blasts of heat behind her.

Ron rushes the remaining armored cultist and attempts to shield bash it to the ground.

DD (Wis to track it if necessary): 2d6 + 0 ⇒ (3, 2) + 0 = 5

H&S: 2d6 + 3 ⇒ (2, 4) + 3 = 9

How'd ye drop the armor, ye daft elf! My prior post was totally unhelpful, but yay for character development!

If the Wis DD was unnecessary then I will gambit the 9 to a 10 and tackle this guy to the ground. Not going for damage, just trying to touch it long enough to cast a touch spell.
