Haven't heard from Kruelaid in many a day....
Wod puts his shoulder (and considerable weight) to the door. unmodified.
Nothing. The door doesn't give.
The engineer was pretty smart. He put them on the inside.
Roll for Wod:
Wod doesn't think he can chop it down.
"I'm not the brawniest among us, but if I may..." Rholf approaches the door while sheathing his scimitar...
Str check:
Still doesn't budge.....better than Wod though.
"Myron, you could try the lock - you might have better luck than Edwin? Otherwise we may have to go and look for a key."
"Will do, ma'am."
"I'm sure, given enough time we could get this door open. But let's look elsewhere for the moment - we might find a key, or another way around," Castiel suggests.
"Will do, ma'am."
Edwin looks at the hallway yet to be explored, then gazes back at the locked door with undisguised desire.
"We really should,... well, there's plenty of daylight left. Perhaps if we were to combine our knowledge and skills, we might make quicker work of it?" Edwin suggests. (His curiosity is obviously killing him!)
Castiel stands guard, looking back down the corridor, his sword drawn, wary of the noise he heard earlier, whilst Edwin and Myron work at the lock.
Dudes. I'll be on in a couple hours.

Wod is slammed by one of them in the door;
5 h.p. damage, and wil save of 11 or he's shaken for 1d4 rounds by the horrid ooze that is now all over him after it slammed and slimed him.
Nigel is attacked and missed by one in the wall.
Rholf is attacked and hit, 6 h.p. damage, and the same wil save....
Myron is attacked, and missed, by two of them.
Azulzu is hit, 7 h.p., and save if he has to.
Alinya is hit, 6 h.p., and a save;....
four more take 5 foot steps, fully filling the hallway;
they look like ethereal men, dressed in striped prison pyjamas, and wielding shanks ground from soupspoons, or whatever metal or glass or sharp thing proved available to grind against stone to create some sort of cutting edge.
Wod is stabbed again; 4 h.p.
Nigel is stabbed, this time hit for 7 h.p. and a wil save as above;
Two go for Castiel; his armor turns away the uncouth shanks and slime.
Group's attack.
Uttering a prayer to Iomedae, Castiel strikes at the nearest slimy ghost with his longsword.
The eternally incarcerated felon dodges; he's used to fighting for his life even though he's dead now....he grins at Castiel, and shouts "is that all you got? Imma turn you out, boy!"
The other two who attacked him blow kisses.....
Edwin pulls his razor-sharp rapier with a deceptively easy movement. He delays a fraction of a moment, trying to identify the form of obviously undead attacking them. Then shrugs.
"Well, whatever you are, you obviously aren't here for tea!" He says, thrusting his blade at the nearest semi-slimy form,...
Edwin cuts at it and misses.
He realizes, they're indeed undead, but made of semiphysical ectoplasm, and thus not exactly ghosts, per se......it is better to cut them than it is to bash them.
Myron jumps to his feet and grabs his sword.
He chops both of the arms off of the one in M9, and it pours out of the wall, vaguely human in form, and splorps into a puddle of necrotic aqua vitae at his feet.
