About Myron Swackhammer

Appearance: 5’11", 175 lbs; Medium height and build with pale skin, blue eyes, brown hair and handlebar mustache. A natty dresser of limited means, Myron dresses like a down-on-his-luck gentleman in old, but good-quality clothing. When not dressed in armour, he wears a suit and tie with a waistcoat and freshly polished boots; if it wasn't for the whiff of burnt hair and noxious chemicals that always accompany him, he could easily have been mistaken for a doctor or country lawyer.

Background:

Myron Swackhammer was born in the town of Cesca on the border between Ustalav and Numeria. As one of eight sons to a family of poor shopkeepers, he decided early on that his parents' career was not one for him; instead, looking for wealth and adventure, he joined up with recruiters signing up volunteers for one more crusade in Mendev. Fascinated by the Nurmerians' odd technology, he quickly distinguished himself as a combat engineer. However, after years of intra-crusade quarreling and politicking, he's grown disillusioned and has decided to return home to Ustalav. Along the way, he's decided to stop by Ravengro to visit an old penpal whom he has corresponded with years ago about chemistry and the history of explosives...
