I only have the HeroLab pack. I certainly wish I could get a hold of the actual book.
I've picked up the Mythic Adventures book. I've noted one very worrying trend. Upon becoming mythic, the male iconics tend to shed clothing whereas the females tend to gain it. This seems terribly, terribly wrong for some reason. Much illustration disappointment.

I know the timing is not the best, but I wanted to let you all know that starting from today (still have a couple hundred Km to travel) I will be GMing at a Pathfinder Society Con over here in my neck of the woods.
This will last until Sunday evening, and even though I wil probably have access to my PC, I cannot guarantee any decent posting during this period.

I am back from the CON - was really an interesting one, as we do not usually have events with this dimension over here.
And man, it was CRAZY fun running the multi-table Siege of the Diamond City - I had never done anything similar, it was quite unique. Won't comment it any further so as not to spoiler it for the ones that haven't played it.
Anyways, I'm BACK! :D
Sorry to say that I no longer have time for online campaigns and will have to leave you at this point. I will still be dropping into the forums from time to time, so drop me a line when you can.

I'll be bluntly honest guys - I am kinda lost here - I would suggest we leave as of now from the Tower, but I really cannot be sure about a couple of things:
- I am not 100% sure if the amulet we have is THE Amulet;
- I am not 100% sure of what is up with the shield and amulet fusion - in spite of being fused, can they be distinguished?
- I am not 100% sure about what's up with the map on the shield;
- I am not sure of what has happened with the book and Alaeron - was it a way to remove him from the game? I don't want to have Tiriael taking a look and PUFF!
- His gear is there, can we take it?
So... SInce I want to take this one forward, would it be acceptable to have some OOC clarifications? ;)
1) Yes you found THE Amulet.
2) The fusion is important and they can be distinguished.
3) The map is what the mural on the wall transformed into.
4) In a way, yes it was. However, it was something him and I agreed on. I gave him the option to escort the Ant Ambassador, get an urgent summons from his father, or disappear under mysterious circumstances.
5) Yes, his gear is up for grabs.
And to satisfy my curiosity what is your plan with the device that started the Ant/Spider War?

I'm just sad that we can't loot any more because of what happened to whats-his-face.
Sort of forgot about them after we got the amulet. Bigger and better things an all that. I say turning it off or destroying the thing would be for the best.

Alright, I've got no idea what that phrase is, I've checked back over the texts that we did run across here and did not find any likely candidates. So here is my proposed plan of action.
I'm going to start taking twenties to search the room systematically. I would like the aid of someone with detect magic to prevent him from setting off another spell/trap/whatever got Alaeron. If that fails Piers is going to try and reactivate the time portal book trap under more controlled circumstances in order to try to suss out the phrase from the past.

As you browsed the diagram and book, you realize the writings were in Ancient Script. The diagram showed the trapdoor in the second floor led to the fourth floor, and the one under the ground floor led to the third. The fourth floor was actually the entire top half of the tower.
So, I just completely missed this the first time through but there is an entire floor we haven't explored.

I already tried 'Friends Remember' which got us inside this tower. If it is as blinding obvious as FotR, I could rattle off a bunch of variations of 'Show Me' in Ancient Script.
