Game Master Fallen_Mage

Having located the second amulet, the adventurers must now assault a cult fortress to earn it. Map

Five hundred years ago, it fell from the sky, a mountainous tower of black metal that seemed to radiate pure evil. Since that time, hoards of unspeakable horrors have roamed the land, terrorizing all in their path. Many attempts to siege The Void Tower, as it is known, have failed. In these dark times, the surviving council members have hatched a desperate plan that many would call insane, releasing the Tarrasque. This mighty creature was imprisoned centuries ago by the Seven Heroes, a group of very powerful Adventurers who somehow managed to gain control of the monster with seven mysterious amulets. With these talismans, the Council hopes to somehow use the Tarrasque to destroy The Void Tower and then hopefully put it back into its prison. The only real problem with this plan, besides unleashing possible Armageddon, is that no one knows exactly where the talismans are. So a call to arms has been sent out for Adventurers willing to undertake the retrieval of these artifacts. Will you answer the call?

There are four main regions (the Void Tower did land in the center of the realm after all).

To the North of the tower lay the endless plains of Carda, home of the Woadlings, a nomadic people that unintentionally became a buffer between the rural communities and the Void Raiders.

In the West is the great forest of Azeem, a sparsely populated region where the settlements suffer occasional raids from the orcs that inhabit the small cluster of mountains that rise from the center of the forest.

East is nothing but a massive desert known as The Desert of Ghosts. While having little to no population, it is a popular destination for Scholars and Adventurers alike, due to the innumerable amount of vast ruins that pepper the region. However, even though these ruins are loaded with ancient knowledge and treasure, they are also crawling with undead monstrosities that appear to have no end.

South is where the main population live and is home of the capitol city of Doronan. This region is the most diverse, meaning that is seems to have all sorts of environs.

Ruins of Arcadia:

The ruins within The Desert of Ghosts are from the ancient empire of Arcadia. A civilization that understood magic on such a primal level, that the high mages were said to cast their magic’s by uttering a few simple words. When the empire fell, their art was lost. At least it was until several decades ago, when a Dwarven scholar, by the name of Choztu, broke the cypher of Ancient Script, the language carved into all the ruins of Arcadia. With access to the Arcadian Knowledge now available, the ancient art of Wordcasting, as it has come to be called, has begun to resurface within the mystical community.

What this means to the campaign: Words of Power subsystem is allowed, but your character must know Ancient Script to utilize it.
