The kobolds pause a moment to see if Jeji's gambit works, but they hear no impact of a falling body.

Perrik darts forward to the mouth of the mine and peers out squinting, looking for the other enemies.


Perrik moves to the adit to peer out into the near blinding light of the morning. He hear stones clatter as they are displaced by the invisible leader's retreat down the hillside. "It's A TRAP!" a voice shouts. The remaining warbot and the woman advancing to the entrance stop and cautiously look toward Perrik.

Any action from Perrik?

Cursing under breath as the leader's shout rang out, Jeji dashed forward, drawing an extract as she moved. Taking position behind the cave wall for cover, she slid the wand back into her bandolier as she waited to see what happened next.

Perrik looses a crossbow bolt at the human, then retreats. The bolt ricochets off of the wall of the cave, nearly hitting Jeji.

Drahlneep relaxes for a moment from his rage. "Let's...fall...back...and...recover..." he pants as he walks to recover his blaster.

Sounds good, that mage wont be doing us any harm at least and sooner or later will turn visible and still be blind. The only thing to worry about is if they send in the metal man, but if it is only one I think we can take it.


Unwilling at the moment to pursue their foe into the sunlight, the kobolds retreat farther back into the darkness. Jeji lingers to watch what happens outside. The wounded leader reappears at the woman's side and the two retreat down the hillside and behind cover to confer leaving the metal trooper to guard the mine.

Drahlneep wanders over to investigate the damage from dropping a cavern on TEK golems, wondering if there is anything interesting on the savage Kellids. "Jeji. I need a reload..." he hands her his empty pistol and discharged batteries before sitting heavily on a boulder panting heavily. "We need to get ready for wave two."

"Affirmative. If we can reach the BOTS, we can search them for useful items." Perrik follows the barbarian over to the rockfall.


The dust has thinned, but is still settling as Perrik clambers up on some rocks. It will take some time and effort to clear the buried remains from the rubble.

Jeji holds her place a little longer trying to see what those outside the cave are preparing to do.

At hearing her name called, she looks back to the others and nods before slowly creeping back away from the entrance and regrouping with her kin. She takes Drahlneep's pistols and begins placing new batteries back in them. Satisfied once they were loaded, he handed them back to the rager and checked her own weapons. The empty batteries she slips into a small pouch on her waist before she begins trying to help Perrik look for the remains of the robots.

Updated the loot sheet to subtract three batteries.


Jeji watched the armored BOT watching her a moment longer and then follows the others into the mine. If they had perhaps a dozen mining kobolds to help them, they could more quickly remove the rubble, but with just the warband, it will take far too long.

"We can take shots at it from the cover of the mine entrance. It will at least be damaged even if it retreats from us."


The kobolds give Drahlneep some time to recover as they discuss their strategy and then creep back toward the entrance now cleared of the hanging dust from the cave in. About 200 feet below, the metal man and the woman remain watching the mine. The League leader is nowhere to be seen.

Perrik leans from cover and sends a crossbow bolt at the woman!

The bolt goes well wide of the mark, though.


Perrik leans out long enough to fire a crossbow, but misses. Jeji stays out of site and drinks a potion. The woman waves her arms and flicks what appears to be a burning cinder toward the mine before taking cover behind the metal man. The cinder flies up the slope and into the cave entrance, exploding and filling the area with magical fire. All- 34 fire damage, Ref 17 for half

Drahlneep just manages to find cover at the last moment and avoids most of the blast. He takes advantage of the explosion to try and stay in hiding.

Perrik and Kricker are caught in the open and suffer the most harm. Perrik succumbs to his burns falling into the dust and ash until Kricker's prayer removes the char from his scales and revives him. Drahlneep remains back in the shadows waiting.

Jeji snarled seeing Perrik fall to the ground. It took all of her restraint to not charge out of the mine. She shook her head to try and compose herself and instead drew another extract and quaffed the contents.

Perrik- you weren't unconscious long.

Perrik crawls deeper into the cave after Kricker revives him. Jeji drinks one of her concoctions. Outside, the Technic woman casts another spell and the robot moves very rapidly up the hillside toward the mine. The woman walks much slower keeping a decent distance.
