The plant convulses and its three long spiny fronds flail ineffectively. Vornop darts in at Drahlneep's side. The pale kobold swings his big sword overhead with both hands- great sword: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (12) + 5 = 17; pain: 1d10 + 3 ⇒ (9) + 3 = 12 and chops it in half.
The second alien turnip slides within range, but Vornop is ready and ducks the long spiny leaf that whips over his head. Reep fires at it- Kapow!: 1d20 + 6 + 1 ⇒ (14) + 6 + 1 = 21; damage: 1d10 + 1 ⇒ (10) + 1 = 11 hitting it point blank. The plant continues flailing, but with difficulty.

Jeji slowly continues to stagger backward to safety. One scaly hand reaches out to feel for the wall and help her stay on her feet. The other hand slips into her pack to retrieve a bomb in between retching and swaying on her feet.

Hardly have your ears stop ringing from Reep's gun than a frenzied Drahlneep delivers a killing blow to the terrible turnip. Perrik is at his side, but his strike it too slow to get the honor.
There is no time for celebration, however. Immediately, the eastern door hisses open revealing a swarm of Little Green Men. At least they are kobold-sized and do not appear mammalian. They are thin and green with tendrils on top of their head and a face that looks more like a bruised vegetable. They are naked, though this doesn't seem to make any difference, and armed with spears except a particularly large one that wields a heavy metal hammer.
Vornop: 1d20 + 5 + 1 ⇒ (12) + 5 + 1 = 18; chop: 1d10 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8
Reeps eyes grow wide as he reloads. Vornop meets the newcomers with war yip and cleaves one of the spuds in twain. It doesn't bleed so much as ooze beads of water like a freshly cut potato.
Jeji continues to fight against the terrible pain of the weird plant's stinging nettles and manages to grab her precious vials.

In between retching and her blurred vision through teary eyes, Jeji tries to hurl her bomb into the largest grouping of the little green men. Perhaps the stinging in her eyes caused her to see more than there were, but she had to do something. She would not be helpless if she could fight.

Bomb, sickened: 1d20 + 7 - 2 ⇒ (6) + 7 - 2 = 11

I believe that the successful fortitude negates the nauseated condition leaving me able to take standard actions again. If not, Jeji will simply try to move to safety.

Jeji-+1 for the bless, but just missed.
Jeji grits her fangs against terrible pain and hurls a bomb at the boss. It ducks its head at the last moment and the bomb explodes against the wall to his left peppering the boss and a nearby minion with a few bits of fire and glass.
Standing next to Perrik, Drahlneep frowns at his spear, but not having anything else suitable jabs at a moldman. Drahlneep: 1d20 + 6 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 6 + 1 = 15; damage: 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8 The creatures are quick though and it dodges. Drahlneep is ready for its strike as well and parries the bone spear. The leader proves much more dangerous, however. Fibrous muscles bulge as he slams the hammer into Drahlneep and then slashes the kobold with a thorny claw. Drahlneep-8 bludge, 5 claw
The two remaining little green minions try to corral Vornop. One sticks him with a bone spear while the other circles around. Vornop-4 pierce The pale dragon-kin swings his great blade- Vornop: 1d20 + 5 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 5 + 1 = 12; chop: 1d10 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8, but he is too slow. Reep climbs up on a table to get a clearer shot and hoping his luck still holds-Kapow!: 1d20 + 6 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (16) + 6 + 1 + 1 = 24; damage: 1d10 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5 fires at the green midget circling Vornop. The shot hits passing right through pith, but apparently doing no lasting harm as sap fills the hole.

Jeji yells "Drahlneep, fall back!" as she readies another bomb to throw into the mix. Once Drahlneep moves out of the blast radius, Jeji will throw a bomb at his opponents.

Reacting instinctively to Jeji's warning, Drahlneep pulls back, allowing his rage to end, despite knowing it will tire him out. He keeps the spear raised in case one of the strange plant men come at him.

Perrik is nearly knocked over as Drahlneep abruptly moves back at Jeji's warning. Perrik scoots farther back and releases healing energy into the badly wounded kobold. Jeji tosses another bomb. This time it's a direct hit. The head lettuce doesn't look much worse off, but the injured minion goes down.
The leader charges Perrik with the heavy hammer, but stumbles over the moldering corpse of one of his companions. The two remaining minions go after the kobold warriors. Drahlneep is further wounded as is Vornop in the melee. Drahlneep-5 pierce; Vornop-6 pierce
Reep reloads while Vornop retaliates- Vornop: 1d20 + 5 + 1 ⇒ (15) + 5 + 1 = 21; chop: 1d10 + 3 ⇒ (7) + 3 = 10 taking down another plantman with his great blade. Drahlneep and Perrik are snout to stem with the leader and his tribesman.

Perrik uses his spear to interfere with the not-so-little green man's attack on poor Drahlneep who pants heavily as he pokes his spear wearily. It works as the green leader is flustered by the intervening spears. Vornop: 1d20 + 5 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 5 + 1 = 13; chop: 1d10 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7 The remaining mushman and Vornop are at a standstill as it pokes and dodges the albino kobold's heavy blade. Reep tries another shot with his dwindling supply of bullets. Kapow!: 1d20 + 6 + 1 - 4 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 6 + 1 - 4 + 1 = 10; damage: 1d10 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7 He can't get a clear shot in the melee however and the metal pellet ricochets off the wall to bury itself in a thick patch of mold.

Drahlneep looks at his spear point and then to his shield's smooth surface. He mutters to himself, "I hate being useless," then louder, to everyone else, "Let me set you up, Vornop!"
Guess I'll need to start using Aid Another actions :P Going to need a slashing weapon at some point in the near future.

By the time that Drahlneep realizes that his new companion is speaking in the lost tongue of the makers of TEK, he has rammed his spear through the vegetative villain who doesn't even seem to notice. Perrik grabs his dagger and pushes it at the savage kobold. Jeji scurries around the table to attack the little green men from behind, but bumps into a chair on the way.
The impaled green man ignores the spear sticking through him and continues attacking Drahlneep. However, the projecting shaft keeps him at a distance that hammer and claw fall short. The other frondy foe turns to jab at Jeji who has slipped up behind it, but the bone spear can't penetrate the kobold's light armor. Vornop: 1d20 + 5 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 5 + 1 + 2 = 27; chop: 1d10 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9 An instant later, Vornop's blade halves the plantman like chopping broccoli. Reep touches his next bullet to a horn on his head for good luck before placing it in the gun. Now alone against the kobold warband, the defiant plant leader is quickly surrounded.

Things go poorly for the kobolds as they readjust their battle against the hulking green plantman. Strangely, the stranger drops the heavy hammer and lays about wildly with thorny claws. Jeji and Vornop suffer scratches. Jeji &Vornop- 3 slash

Perrik continues to cover Drahlneep by interposing his weapon. It doesn't seem to be helping the savage kobold hit either. Jeji makes a desperate move trying to capture Sarahthenal's luck with the whip and trip their foe. She can't quite pull it off with her spear though and suffers a horrible scratch from the green meanie that had already turned on her. Jeji-5 slash Seeing her fall, the verdant villain turns back to Vornop, but the heavy sword strikes drive him back.

Reep curses his horns and reloads. Vornop's heavy blade hits again chopping deep into the creature and it finally looks like the relentless greenling is waning.

Things go poorly for the kobolds. Jeji falls. Perrik jabs his long spear at the big little green man, but the plantman is ready stops on the spear knocking it from Perrik's grip. Drahlneep nearly loses hope at his companion's misfortune and is unable to press his attack.

Sensing that Jeji lives, but not for much longer, Perrik leaves his spear behind and circles the table taking cover behind the troublesome chair to reach out and touch Jeji's scaly leg. A release of life energy stabilizes the fallen alchemist.

A woody claw slashes Vornop again and the pale kobold bleeds freely as he hacks the powerful wee weedy again. It looks as fragile as the kobold warrior now.
"Step Back!" Reep yells. "Fire in the hole!" Vornop and Drahlneep move back toward the table top wizard while Perrik pulls Jeji clear. A flash of heat and light engulf the angry asparagus- Fiiiire: 2d4 ⇒ (3, 3) = 6. The plantman is caught off guard and falls to the mildewed floor burning. It gives off not an unpleasant smell actually.
