I was thinking that, why are we carrying a oil paintings or a rolled-up tapestry out of here and into a bog and marsh,?? Like we are going to find a seller in the local village we are NOT going to head for.
I think Rosa may dump some stuff out the sack.
Rosa then heads over to Grumblejack.
whispering - "If they call we go smash ok, thats our job, but we keep still and silent until Emind calls, not a sound and no running off, until he says so, got it?
Now thats 100% clear and an in play statement -
Tohram can I ask, why is your PC coming back, then in front of the two PC fighters in the party asking/commanding the only NPC fighter to back him up?, wile it seems ignoring the two PC fighters stood next him, I confused why Tohram would do this?.

Not up on the list of loot but yes, looking at it now, Rosa would just dump stuff out that was daft, like a rolled-up tapestry, Stuff we can use and need Rosa will keep in the sack with Grumblejack Edmin (hows a Knight so dos not get to carry stuff unless he says so I think he made that clear) and Rosa.
You want a rolled-up tapestry to go I think she would say, You carry it.
But will wait for the full list, Think the coin alone will be a hefty amount to carry but Rosa did say we should split it.

On the general subject of party coordination: with six players (you'll remember I originally wanted five) this becomes an issue. It's helpful if everyone reads everyone else's posts carefully before posting. Also, gentle suggestions ("maybe everyone could wait until Bref checks the door for traps?") are never amiss. Also-also, you are free to chat with each other by PM (or e-mail or phone) if you think that's a more effective method of coordinating your actions.
So far I'd say it's been an occasional issue but not yet a major problem. Fingers crossed.

Well, there is the Branderscar banner. Though that rolls up small, and is not terribly heavy. And I'm not sure why you all are carrying the Warden's head around, myself, but I don't doubt there's an excellent reason.
Anyway, the same rule applies: if you want to throw anything away, that's fine. Just post it clearly so we all know what you're chucking overboard.
And now I really am going to bed.

Which brings a serious issue in this game. We have one player who seems to like to read, or perhaps comprehend, only about half of what is written. And then decide to make comments on that which are generally directed at me. Even better, the player seems to think that for some reason it is important to type everything that goes through his characters mind, which once again seems to be approximately 100% of the time directed at me. Of course, since this is being done with italics in the form of internal thought, my character, without metagaming, cannot know any of this. Thus, the only way that it can be viewed is as a personal attack against me, the player.
If there are misinterpretations of what this player intends, then it is most likely because the lengthy posts are frequently filled with typos and missing words. I know from the Recruitment thread that the player claims to be dyslexic. But, since you know that you make errors, this means that before you start criticizing others, you should check to see whether your own post is the root of the problem. For instance in a recent post the player typed:

Rosa, Grumblejack and Edmind will holed until they know the way is clear or Edmind says move out.
Thus, apparently indicating that the party sneaking around must be one of the unnamed members of the party's fault - Jax, Bref or me. Admittedly, I did say that anyone could follow if they wanted in Post 1127. However what the above mentioned player seems to have ignored is that in the very next post, Edmin posted that:
Edmin follows along with the judge. His crossbow at the ready.
Going forward, I plan on completely ignoring anything that is not directly related to the game from this player as I have done for the past week. If there are things that I miss that this player posted or said, it is because I chose to not discern what was material from within the excess of personal attacks this player seems to enjoy posting.

I would appreciate it if any squabbling could be done via PM. It really takes away from my enjoyment of the game. Yes I suppose I can just not read it. In which case at least put it in spoilers. Then I can look or not at my pleasure.

Meanwhile, here's a question. Do we want to carry on with five players? Or recruit a new sixth?
There were some interesting characters in that final batch. On one hand, it's definitely a little harder to coordinate six as opposed to five. On the other, more players = more posts, and six seemed to be working okay. What do you guys think?

I think the spell has to be on your spell list, unfortunately none of the Cure spells are on the Antipaladin list.

The Oracle that was up against Rosa is a good player. I have him in my campaign and am in another campaign with him. Not sure if he is a 10 posts per day player, but he has been solid. My vote for you all is oracle or bard as both get cure spells. A cleric is more along the theme of the game and would be great for me - inflict wounds spells - but would not really help with the healing.
Thinking of which - would a Wand of Infernal Healing work on me with the negative energy affiliation? It gives the character Regen 1 which is not really healing as many undead also have this. Just wondering going forward.
One other question - Cy, I was wondering with you calling yourself a witch, is there a reason that you chose Wizard(invoker) rather than Witch or one of its archetypes?
Now for the 32 gameplay posts you all put up while I was on an airplane.

            Search both guards please.
I am tempted in putting some of that black tar substace we found into his mouth as we gag him to see the effect but don't want to waste any.
If we leave them alive we need to cause them at least enough subdual damage to make them both unconscious as to ensure they can't make escape attempts.
Can we reach the checkpoint from the Wall? If so lets have Bref pick up Grumblejack now.

He is an Oracle with healing that fits your needs plus he has a lot of other interesting abilities to help the group...and he is evil afterall...again sorry to jump in but I saw the opportunity to have another shot at it and I am a fequent poster. Let me know he is pretty much ready to go...thanks for the consideration.

All right, let's break until tomorrow. I do have to sleep at some point, and better to break now than once combat has started.
To speed things along, can everyone roll initiative and give proposed actions for Round One? (If some kind soul can collect all the initiatives and put them in a single post, so much the better.)
cheers,
Doug M.

DM I got most of our initiatives up for you, sorry I missed the fun. That was pretty fun read! I will send you a PM, I was hoping to discuss something with you regarding my Aasimar ability and was planning hold of on it until we met our benefactors, but since we may have a potential Tpk, it may help us now.
Also if (if?! I mean WHEN!) we get out of here, and if Rosa does not come back, could we have auditions for another player, like American Idol but less cheesballs and more cool stuff. You would still be the final judge but we could all make comments and be part of the process. Like a mini game within the game.
It would be Douglas Muir's So You Want to Play Way of the Wicked contest.

Yet since I was waiting now may not be the fair time to discuss that, so in fairness it I can't make that choice now its my fault for waiting this long. I just held off that part of character creation because I was still trying to get my 'character' down pat.
And (!) I can use my bonded item, which is literally bonded to me since childhood within my chest cavity, so I can try to use spells like Charm Person or Sleep again to at least get Blackerly, if we knock out or charm the Sergeant then we have a few minutes where the Warden will be 'in charge.'

Sleep only affects up to 4HD of targets, I think it'd be best to use it on a cluster of guards to take them out of the fight so we can focus Blackerly down quickly.
Also..damn Aasimar's get deeper darkness? Ugh..Tieflings only get darkness lol.

I advise taking out the guards if you can, Blackerly will be mine and Bref's main target. Hopefully someone else can get in with us, it shouldn't take long if we have flank. By that time I should have Challenged him so anyone attacking him should be +1 to hit and 1d6 damage if flanking.
