@Bref, I'd be happy to, but I've heard the crafting rules are pretty terrible. For example it would take 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (2) + 7 = 9

Well..that was assuming I made the DC in the first place (DC 13). Assume he made the DC and rolled a 13, it would take around four or five weeks to make one dose of the poison. [I haven't used the crafting rules much, but just re-read them and this seems right.

@Dren: I was not aware I could take ten! I will presume the DM will be okay with me doing that instead.

Bref is asleep hardcore. he kept those as hardcore weapons. when we have to take someone out. But once he is awake he could be convinced to brew some tea.

@ DMDM - Can we buy wands with only half charges? If so, I would like a Wand of Mage Armor with 25 charges (375gp) and possible another Wand, not sure what.

Ok, I will but a Wand of Mage Armor. Will hold off on the other purchases until I hear back from Cy as to whether she wants to join me on this purchase. This will leave me with either 50gp or 425gp.

a different class every level! Barbarian 1 rogue 1 sorcerer 18!

but seriously mostly rogue. Might take one more level of barbarian for a rage power, unless I can take the feat for a rage power. Might look into prestige classes down the line...shadow dancer or assassin. There are a buttload of new ones as well.


I was thinking more in terms of RPing. (Though the two are connected, sure. Multiclassing into barbarian is one way to act out anger management issues...)

The Judge will have that conversation with the Cardinal fairly soon.

Here's my vision for the next little bit. Instead of a dungeon crawl, several PCs will have opportunities to do things on their own... not solo adventures, these could be as short as a simple conversation, but anyway mano-a-mano. Two of these are already taking shape: "Sir Edmin embarks on a new career path" and "The Judge has a chat with Cardinal Thorn about a possible long-term change in dietary habits". Another one will be "Someone meets an old acquaintance". "Someone does a small job for the Cardinal" is also possible.

Once we're past that, we go into Training Montage for a bit, then on to the next thing.

You also have the opportunity to explore, investigate, talk to any or all of the NPCs you've met so far, and so forth. Think carefully, though, before you violate an instruction or do anything that could jeapordize your standing. The headquarters of Team Evil is not a safe or forgiving place, and you can get TPKed here as easily as in any dungeon.

As noted, I'm waiting until everyone is caught up before proceeding. (Zimu? You with us?)

I think creepy lady was on target. Bref is child like...he is only 4 afterall. But like children I think he will develop based on his conpanions. He does have very big plans and I think we will see more of just how frickin smart he is.

I'm very sorry for not getting to post guys, I will try and catch up, (going on no sleep, I have a few things going on, part work, part school, part FUN) going to power nap after I get some of the game stuff done, I mostly advance Cуровую a few days ago, think ahead of everybody but I am missing upgrades to spell book (wanted to speak to other spell casters and did not know if we had to share but I am reading through all that now) and I have to figure out items.

Can somebody please explain spell caster teamwork feats?

The group is leaning to Stealth feats though so thats alright by me as well.

I would very much agree to Grumblejack being equipped and I will give party funds to that as well, further one the day of our arrival I would have made sure he had a least one glass on the excellent wine.

I will adress him in Giant and ask what weapons and armor he would prefer, and even offer a buckler and perhaps a spear or throwing axe to supplement what he may want.

Regarding bonus skills, I had added it to Survival already thanks DM.

I would prefer a wand of Infernal Healing over a Cure Light Wounds but we would need to carry at least three potions of CLWs or have Dren memorize them for emergency combat situations.

Judge I have yet to read the main thread, but if you are purchasing a Wand of Mage Armor count me in on 20 percent of the wand price, I normally would cast my own spell for longer duration but I don't mind giving you some funds and you can use most the charges yourself, save 5 to 10 for me.

Judge the bonus to my bluff is from the class skill and bonus point from the crime trait we committed and 2 points I out in.

I'm checking the main thread now.

Here is the feat I was talking about...

Allied Spellcaster (Teamwork)
With the aid of an ally, you are skilled at piercing the protections of other creatures with your spells.

Prerequisite: Caster level 1st.

Benefit: Whenever you are adjacent to an ally who also has this feat, you receive a +2 competence bonus on level checks made to overcome spell resistance. If your ally has the same spell prepared (or known with a slot available if they are spontaneous spellcasters), this bonus increases to +4 and you receive a +1 bonus to the caster level for all level-dependent variables, such as duration, range, and effect.

Would just allow us spell penetration if we were standing next to each other. If we both have the same spell memorized or know, the SP becomes +4 and we get +1 caster level.

BTW I just got around to reading Stealth Synergy:

Stealth Synergy (Teamwork)
Working closely with an ally, you are able to move like twin shadows.

Benefit: While you can see one or more allies who also have this feat, whenever you and your allies make a Stealth check, you all take the highest roll and add all your modifiers to Stealth.

The way I belive it works is we all roll and then take the highest roll. We then add our individual modifyers to the highest roll.
It means we have better stealth, but still not super powerful because if Edwin has a -3 stealth, even if we roll a 17, his net is a 14. I am not sure if it is still worth taking? The 2 stealthy characters can sneak around and take the best out of the 2 rolls but it is pretty useless for the fighter types.

I sort of argued that point. In the Judge's view, if the compensation is not appropriate, then the Cardinal will have broken the contract and we are all free. He is the drafter of a very ambiguous contract.

Actually, I am a lawyer, but trying to not have too much time spent on this issue to take away from the game.

Okay, for the next bit I want to try a little narrative experiment. Let's do multiple threads in parallel over the next couple of days. The ones I have so far are:
