Nice - 8 days and we are up to 850 posts, 600 in the gameplay and 250 in OOC.

Having a blast so far (or will once our wizard reaches level 5 and gets fireball). Keep up the great work and posting all.

I have reservations about setting the whole place on fire too, at least until we know it would be to our advantage.

Is heading to the Warden's tower just asking for trouble? I keep thinking 'spell book!'

My concern is our lack of healing, and the next shift of guards.

We really should make our escape before dawn. We dont want more guards that are actually looking for us, and remember that over the 5 guards actually on duty, 3 had been drunk. We may get lucky tonight but probably not in the morning.

We do have a vile left.

yes just posted, Cуровую do you still have spell to alter look/form etc.
we could walk out as a pear if need be as a back up.

two fake emergence passes would bypass pass words.

we could start a fire as a distraction but the down side is if we get stuck moving in around the place we could burn with the biulding, Burn was alway when and IF we have the place taken fully. now we have numbers we can asses our chances to
1: Run for it,
2: Take the whole place.

GM is there a town close to the keep. Again maps would be good here, for lay out and combat, etc.

There is a 3ed root out and its this.
If we can find a outer wall, to the causeway, we can use the window to the causeway, we use a fire here to pull the guards inside the keep to here wile we head out,

this would over out tracks and let us use alter self/look + fake docs to get the guards at the end of the course way.

Thats if we can get to and outside wall with out being seen.

Fight our way past every Gured until we luck out and they make a call, if that happens one rider out of the keep to the town and we are dead as Judge said, thats IF there is a town close, GM again is there and how close?

we could use Divination and sneak to make it to the causeway and away to the moors, Rosa aside I like this batter as if it gos bad we are back at plan A etc.

lol. I figure two levels to get the rage power where I get claws too. Get an amulet of mighty fists with the agile enchantment on it, instead of the usual +1. Just nasty!

Though no way bref survives till then. I think he is a little bit insane. He wanted to be king...but running this place could be a good time for him

Thats pricey though, and far down my list of things to get

i mean i want a dex belt an amulet of mighty fists (agile not +1) and probably a cloak and armor first.

I could get a chill touch hat for a measly 400, if I got it at CL 2 for once per day. or something like that. I forget the exact forumla

-- Seriously, Bref does seem to be moving more towards CE. (Not that there's anything wrong with CE. Fine alignment. Some of the best villains have been CE.) Mind, you could also retcon that as saying he's getting loopy with fatigue; he hasn't really slept properly in weeks.

I made a mention of the fatigue on I think page one. about 5 bazillion posts ago. ha. I definitely see him as a bit punch drunk right now. That being said he may be NE or CE in reality. I kind of saw it as big picture wise he thinks there is an order that must be followed. Might makes right. He attempted to challenge it and wound up here. Now of course he is a bit obsessed with revenge, and he is doing it as best he knows how. But let me know if you still see him as going there and I can either adjust his behavior...or adjust the alignment based on your preference.

Is there a Knowledge roll I can make for the bottle from the other room? And can we use the substance on the traps Bref found on the traps to coat the blades of our group?

Sorry I asked both these questions earlier but may have been overlooked.


I already made the knowledge roll for you. Rolled a 19 for a DC 20 check.

You probably can't use the gunk -- it has dried to a tarry, glue-like consistency that would be difficult to remove.

We do not know what it is. Morsum knows that there is something wrong with it. I am not sure, but I think that Rosa or you made a Detect Magic check and it did not radiate magic, so my guess is poison. I certainly am not going to test it.

That is what I was thinking too, in the other thread I stated that it did not radiate magic then it may well be poison, if it is it's something we could use.

Let's get out of this large room as soon as we can and have taken what we need.
