Van, who goes forth alone |

not sure if this was brought up but do you want to use background skills? I think this would be a good thing to implement.
If Background Skills are allowed, then I am ready to go. If not, than I will need to pare off the Skill points I put into Knowledge: Engineering & Linguistics, which will make me sad, but I can do it.

Kurgu |

I believe Kurgu is about ready. He is a Numerian Liberator, ready to fight the mechanical monsters with brains, courage, and a long hammer.

Galnikatix |

Almost done with building character.
Outstanding: personality, gear (wrong, copied another character file and editing)
Debating which to take first: Hover or Flyby attack.
Starting gold: 3d6 ⇒ (5, 2, 6) = 13 x 10 = 130 gp

Phineas T Nalinder |

Criminey, I had rolled up my gold a lot earlier not thinking about this. Oh well, if it ends up being less, I can quickly change it. Otherwise, inspector Phineas Nalinder is ready to go.
STarting Gold: 3d6 ⇒ (1, 6, 1) = 8 * 10 = 80.
...darn. That's low, but I'll make due.

DarkOne the Drow |

What are the rules concerning posting in Gameplay? Player info, treasure dividing, strategies, etc.
I finish the gear today.
I will be travelling from 2-14 May and have absolutely no idea if I have internet during that period. I think it is best to have Galnikatix meet up with the party on the outskirts of town, besides she is no fond of urban centres.

Kurgu |

Tactics should be hashed out IC as much as possible IMHO but I don't object to it in discussion.
And yeah, we really should work out how to divide loot. Easier done in discussion.
I thought this suggested method is quite fair:
Any equipment picked up a character can take up and use. Any items not claimed for use are sold off and added to the gold which is then divided evenly. If a claimed item is later sold (as a better one is found or they buy an upgrade) then the value of it is split among everyone.
If of course someone uses their share of the gold to buy an item it is their item and if later sold the gold is entirely theirs.
Consumable items get used, it's what they are there for. If you guys are buying 'group items' like the Wand of CLW ye are going to discuss it beforehand and work something out. For CLW probably everyone will pitch in... a hard rule on this isn't needed as it'll be a case by case basis. I could see a party with a sorceror and monk having just the two of them buy a wand of mage armour between just the two of them

Me'mori |

What would Kurgu know about androids, and if/how they are related to the robot monsters infesting the Badlands? And is he able to recognise Mira as one?
Androids are superficially identical to humans in many ways, and to the uninformed it can be difficult to differentiate the two. In the right light, though, androids’ alien nature is revealed by the metallic sheen in their eyes and the biological, tattoo-like circuitry that riddles their skin. "
Not much to see but her face and some of her forearms (gloves, duster) though it is entirely possible that the circuitry patterns could have been picked up by any of the machine-worshipping groups, or even picked up as a fashionable accent, depending. Either way, she's not particularly flaunting her nature.

One of my games that has been running for many years is short a player. It's currently lv 10. I'd prefer someone willing to take over an existing character that has stopped playing (you can rebuilt the character just keep the same name/backstory) but if you want to introduce someone new I'm willing to consider it.
Players you could take over include:
Arkanost the gnome sorcerer 10 who likes to tinker with machines and artifices.
Bleyz oni-spawn Tiefling monk 10 (currently affected by a powerful artifact that cost him and arm but gave him the ability to manipulate earth and stone).
Archren the Kyton-Spawn tiefling synthesis summoner 10.
Here is the game Secret of the keepers Feel free to pop into the ooc discussion and talk to the players.

Galnikatix |

Don't worry I am very much alive. Just travelling plenty, though until end of month I having more internet access.
Unusual pre-made characters, I see Arkanost is already taken. Monk I know way too little to be able to play it effectively. Summoner type characters I try to avoid on forums, managing them is a nightmare. Take too much time for me.
I see Van, who goes forth alone has only dotted the Gameplay thread.

Kurgu |

A heads up. Between Friday 1st June and Sunday 3rd June, I won't be available at all. My availability on the Thursday and Monday is also likely to be very limited.
So realistically, I'm not likely to post much from Thursday May 31st until Tuesday June 5th.

Kurgu |

Yeah, no sign of Van. Perhaps a pm is in order, or a replacement character.
I'm back, but there's not a lot Kurgu can do right now.

Ibarra, since Kul'Theraka and Ibarra were on the same group, I thought we could discuss what we know about one another, and why we were working together. What to know about Kul'Theraka is simple, he hates robots. He has lost friends and family to the things so that he has built his life around learning how to destroy them.

Falvastar Kraigsmith |

Kul is going to have a funny relationship with Falv then as he wants to study and eventually learn how to build robots.

DM Diremerc,
Have you considered having a 24 hour time limit? After that, you take appropriate action for the character, or in the case of decision making silence is consent with the others in the group? It seems like that would keep the game moving and keeps the character relevant in combat. I closing out a live game in pbp and was going to go to such a rule so that I can move the game along. Life happens but the game must go on! Just sayin'.

Galnikatix |

Yep, I agree with the proposal. There are times when I travel and will not be able to post for a few days, lucky only happens a few times a year. I prefer the someone just to do some actions during my absence.
