Tessara pushes the doors slightly and sees that the doors are cleverly trapped that they appear to be some kind of chain attached to them and a central pillar that will trigger something when pulled.

Kharamell disarms the chain off both of the doors, allowing them to be opened without triggering the pillar trap.

Inside are several doors arranged around the pillar each slightly ajar.

Moving with surprising stealth for a woman in armor, Nyssa enters the room with the trapped pillar. With so much attention placed on her own movement, she is less than observant, however...

Stairs leading up and several similar small rooms surround the pillar, each with their doors slightly ajar. Peering inside one of the rooms, Orgar and Nyssa each can see a wooden frame for a bed and a dresser along with cluttered metal pieces on the ground.

@ GM Demonmoose: how much time would be left on my Resist Energy Spell?
It would be good for 1 hr 10 min, and I cast it when we entered.


The resist energy should last another 30 min or so.

The tiny bits of metal pieces begin to swirl together forming a tiny spectral figure with a skull like face. It moves towards the party with sharp metal claws.

Orgar slashes through the ethereal creature, but it refuses to go down.

Tessara aims down the lane and shoots the ghost with a pair of arrows. It shrieks.

Iophiel misses the ghost, slamming her greatsword into the ground. It cleaves through the stone.

Nyssa strikes the ghost directly but misses with her second slash. Much of the ghost's metal pieces clatter to the ground.
