What a supreme pleasure seeing you again, my good Junior. I see that your style is as amazing as your company.
The White Rabbit seems to be dumping a plethora of soap out of a sack; little eyes looking directly at Junior.
Theophilus loudly clears his throat, tossing a handkerchief haphazardly over the newly formed--and one might say mysteriously processed--pile of soap.
I can Teleport us 3 at a time?
He takes out a deck of cards, shuffling them while blue eyes looks at each person in the group.
Junior smiles at Ci Ci and says in a sing-song voice while the soap piles up, "One bar to makes you bigger, and one bar makes you small, and the ones that mother gives you, don't do anything at all."
He claps his hands, "Well I should be able to handle two of you just fine!" His gaze drifts to Dervak, "Would you kindly hold my hand?"

Miraculously you arrive in Okeno exactly as intended and right next to each other. Junior holds his hand up high for Theo, "It worked? It worked! C'mer bro!"
Okeno is huddled beneath Stonespire's imposing mountains, it has no wall or fortifications. You're looking out over a natural harbor that forms at the foothills of the mountains which offers a calm anchorage. A vast district of ashen stone rises out of the waters, carved seemingly from a single piece of bedrock. Higher up in the mountain you see large manors and well maintained houses, no doubt rich off the backs of their slaves.
Okeno is a slippery mass of alleyways and streets, a confusing maze of sunless dead-ends and corners where cutthroats doubtless will welcome you. Hard to avoid are the fleshfairs, seemingly endless auctions where slaves are bought and sold.
Junior says, "I'm going to hole up in the Fleet for a while. See if I can't get a lead on a ship to liberate."
You know that Lowls will have bought slaves from Biting Lash for his expedition to Neruzavin, however Pocky's research revealed that she only deals with people she has a prior relationship with. Finding her means finding someone who already knows her. Luckily you have a name, Hyena Princess Njano, who operates in the Laughing Fleshfair.

"Hyena Princess. Such a lovely title," Ci Ci says to no one in particular. "Ah well. Let's be off. Thanks again, Junior," she says, smiling at the Captain.
You rather easily find the Laughing Fleshfair, so named because the cackling of the gnolls that frequent it. An overwhelming number of the merchants and customers are gnolls but there are a few other humanoids scattered about. The guards eye you nervously and you can tell they're just looking for an excuse.
The place is busy and sweaty; the dusty feral stench of hosts is everywhere. You see all sorts of people and creatures for sale, kept in pits between 10ft and 30ft below. Its apparent that the Laughing Fleshfair specializes in slaves meant for entertainment, often violent, ranter than those meant for work.
Theo, without fear, flags down a gnoll and asks him about Njano. Something about the hatter's countenance must have thrown the gnoll off balance because he points towards the hyena princess. She wears a fine mantilla draped on her head, paired with loose fitting green dress. She is conversing with pair of gnoll slavers. She has two bodyguards, the first is a short muscular human woman and the second is a halfling swaddled in black robes with a monkey perched on his shoulder.
Images of the princess and her first bodyguard are on slide 3.
Pocky is thoroughly disgusted by the display. She would help the slaves if she could, but for the sake of the mission, she will be civil. One of the guards is her kind, so if the parties are to talk, she will keep an eye on him.

When they reached the entrance to the Laughing Fleshfair, Mara prayed for divine assistance for her upcoming inquiries. She was no longer in her crone aspect, finding that she didn't need it now to enhance her spellcasting. She steeled herself for the repugnant sights that she suspected she was about to see, and entered the grounds.
Casting Heroism on herself, using the metamagic rod.
She had never experienced a slave market before, and had to force herself not to think about the horrible things that the captives here must be going through. She let Theo take the lead while he asked where to find Princess Njano. It didn't take long for them to locate the well-known hyena slaver.
Mara approached the gnoll woman and greeted her, bowing in what she hoped was the correct manner. She spoke in gnoll, "Greetings, Princess Njano! I am Mara. We have sought you out due to your esteemed reputation. We humbly ask you for an introduction to the merchant known as Biting Lash. We hope that Biting Lash may be open to bargaining for some information that we are seeking, for a suitable price naturally."
Now that she has mental prowess +4, the +4 enhancement to wisdom from crone aspect no longer matters. She'll only cast Threefold Aspect when the intelligence boost is important.
When the party approaches you hear not so subtle growls from the assembled gnolls. The human bodyguard not only bars the way but shoves Mara before she can get close to Njano. Before a fight erupts the Hyena Princess howls at her subordinate,
Gnoll:
"Kizets, you're as subtle as an alchemists fire in a bowl of oatmeal! Stand down!"
The bodyguard relents and Njano apologizes, "Please accept my apology for the rudeness of Kisetz. She will be properly disciplined."
When Mara mentions Biting Lash Mara sees recognition light up in the gnoll's brown eyes. She lets loose a high pitch squealing, laughter. She puts her arm on Mara's shoulder gently nudging her to the side and says, "We should talk. But not here, meet me at my estate this evening." Njano provides directions.

Ci Ci keeps her mouth tightly shut, willing herself not to speak.
All those times I complained to my parents about being a slave to the family business, and had convinced myself it was true...what a stupid, stupid child I was! I had no idea what I was talking about. This is horrible!
Pocky is certain that the bodyguards are slaves themselves. The Hyena Princess’ response seems to confirm this. In her own experience, there were slaves who found ways on their master’s good side.
Pocky preferred beatings to that.
But what fate awaits a gnoll’s slave that doesn’t seek the master’s favor? Pocky reminds herself not to pity the bodyguards. They are the enemy. If it comes to blows, perhaps she will fight to subdue rather than kill.
Disgusted as she is, like Ci-Ci, she remains silent. Any words attempting to escape Pocky’s lips are either insincere, or likely to provoke a fight she doesn’t want. Yet…

lol, believe it or not for some reason I was looking back at your posts in that game recently. You made it to the middle of part 1a. The quest for doppelganger corpses. Most of the SA PBP games I know about have died around this point.
We started ours with an epic jailbreak. A houseruled use of Pugnacious (allowing me a +4 effective size bonus to STR check instead of increased damage dice) gave me just enough strength to break a metal door (with a natural 17). So my brawler kicked the DC28 door down while players in a second cell combined magic spells to grab the key. In a third cell, someone distracted the doppelgänger.
Oh… Delmoth! Did you take over just after I nearly died getting one of the doppelgänger corpses? Yes, that is the campaign death spot then, isn’t it?

Dervak had to fight that damned nurse twice, of course. In both cases he was an Aberrant Half-orc Bloodrager who was intent on avoiding Rage as much as possible. Wanted to save it for an epic reveal. And weaponless and unarmored.
He killed the thing with his tusks the first time, though there was some ridiculous softballing by the GM - directing its attacks at a weak summons instead of Dervak (had it not been for that, Dervak would have finished that fight with Orc Ferocity and collapsed at -11, which would have been way cooler).
The second time he was again instrumental and was on the verge of getting killed by the thing before a party member AOO saved the day. The GM (not Delmoth) softballed a bit in that fight but not as blatantly as in the first campaign.
Still figuring out a couple of things on level-up; which new spells, and if I want to do a spell swap.

Your bloodline feats, when they come up, are bonus and in addition to your general feats from leveling.
I think you should have one more feat.
6 base, 1 human bonus, 1 bloodline bonus, and Eschew Materials, for 9 total.
I am not sure, may have missed something. Pardon the observation if so.
I think you’re right. I probably miscounted when I leveled up from the other campaign.
Well, it looks like I can get Spell Penetration now instead of waiting two more levels.

On wealth:
The new PCs' gear wasn't included on their tabs so I just put "starting gear - 31,000 GP" as a placeholder so they are no longer appearing under-geared on the Party Reports tab.
It now looks on the Party Reports tab like we all have considerably more than our target WBL, but that is due to unsold "Party Loot." In terms of actual gear, Dervak is about 14,000 behind his WBL, but with a share of selling everything he would be about 19,000 over WBL.
That includes all of Kat's gear, and the gear on Elder Lythiin that specific PCs claimed. Did Elder Thyrr want us to return his stuff, or could we keep it (to use or sell)?
We are in a metropolis now but might not be so for long (and who knows if we will get to one in the next two books?). And I don't know how much downtime we'll have to craft in the future. So maybe the intent is that we are a bit over-geared now?

We could just bury Kat's gear with her if we don't want to tilt to far?
We do have a full party now, so not seeing a good reason to go above WBL.
With ABP also, I am finding Theo's desire for gear has lessened considerably; although, he being a caster/Hexer he doesn't require as much as a martial imo.
You get to keep the elder's things, he gave you permission. Cesadia will gladly put Kat's gear toward causes that she would have championed back in Thrushmoor.

What are our respective share of the platinum? I need to buy some diamond dust to use stoneskin in the future, and there may be other spells on my list that have an expensive component.

Adding Vicious Stomp to a cestus through the Training enchantment would reduce your primary attack bonus and damage.
Because instead of being attuned to one weapon (your Amulet of Mighty Fists) at +2, you would be attuned to two (Amulet and Cestus) at +1/+1.
Maybe not a huge problem, but it is a tradeoff. I had considered getting myself an Amulet of Mighty Fists with the Training enchantment (and helping with Monstrous Physique natural attacks) but decreasing the bonus on my main attacks would be the downside.

I was trying to figure out the treasure shares.
Hope I didn't screw up anything on the spreadsheet, but you should be able to revert to an earlier version if I did.
I removed all of Kat's gear. Wasn't sure if the Periapt of Health was hers.
I shifted the Ring of Feather Falling to Pocky's tab, and the Necklace of Adaptation to CiCi's.
I moved most of what we wanted to sell from Party Loot to the Vendor Trash tab.
I figured out as best I could what would sell for how much - my understanding is that "art objects" sell for full, and everything else for half.
Most of what is left in Party Loot is wands, scrolls, and potions. There are 6 1,000 GP diamonds there as well (I guess one just got crushed by the jeweler or the monk?).
Factoring in the stuff selling for half, the "Vendor Trash" tab plus our remaining 900 PP come out to shares of about 14,500 each. Which would put Dervak just about exactly at WBL for 11th under ABP.
Adding Vicious Stomp to a cestus through the Training enchantment would reduce your primary attack bonus and damage.

Short version: it turned out I misunderstood the ABP ruling on the amulet. Upside, for almost the same cost, I have two training cestuses and a Thorny Ioun Stone. Basically, I can have Greater Trip with the same bonus as before (with the stone) or I can attune to a different cestus for Piranha Strike.
Eventually, I’ll just use the tripping one and have a second feat on it at Lv.14 and a third at Lv.15 (all trip-related, none prerequisites).
My saves in (parentheses) are with the max teamwork bonus.

I have a few characters with teamwork feats and they are a bit tricky to adjudicate in PbP since unlike in face-to-face we aren't all seeing the map and making our saves at the same time.
If Delmoth posts that the enemy casts Fireball, and then Pocky and Allegra move, and then I get around to checking the map later and making my save, I'll need to know whether Dervak was adjacent to Pocky and Allegra at the time of the Fireball.
It is probably easiest for the GM to note the PCs' position at the time of the attack. And then say that he needs a Reflex saves from Pocky (+1 SiO), Allegra (+2 SiO), Dervak (+1 SiO). Or roll our saves for us (as long as we keep our stat lines accurately updated with things like Rage and buff spells).
@GM - would a Robe of Arcane Heritage work for Dervak? If not, is it possible to get a variant of that robe that works for Bloodragers?

I can look at earlier versions of the maps but it's a question of matching timestamps with the Gameplay post to know exactly which version was correct when the damaging effect took place.
New shares of 14,010 each, plus the 5086 he had before, minus the 1000 he spent on Modify Memory, leaves Dervak with 18,096.
Buying Robes of Arcane Heritage and also Gloves of Reconnaissance.
That leaves him with 96 GP.
The Mnemonic Vestments take up the same slot as the Robes, so he could sell those off (and gain 2,500 GP in doing so), but would let CiCi have them if she wanted. They're quite useful and she has way more spell slots than he does. But if she wanted to get her own Robes of Arcane Heritage, then selling the Vestments is the way to go.
Edit: he'll need to come up with 500 GP to get the focus for Tactical Adaptation. There is more we could sell from Party Loot, or he can sell some of his own gear. It's a fairly small amount at this level.

The robes look pretty awesome. If you are willing to let me sell the vestments, I can 'just' afford them, with a little bit left to buy some diamond dust.

@DM_Delmoth: I'm thinking of using Permanency to give Mara permanent See Invisibility. She would be using Use Magic Device to cast See Invisibility from a scroll (Mara needs to be the caster since it's a personal spell). The Permanency spell description lists a minimum caster level of 10 for See Invisibility, but does that just refer to her caster level for Permanency, or does the scroll need to be CL 10? This affects the cost of the scroll and the DC for UMD.
EDIT: Permanency is a Time mystery spell, which the Speaker for the Past archetype adds to Mara's spell list.

Though anything combat-useful is always nice, are you going to need Pocky for stealth missions?
She’s good at stealth, and can become even better. (Admittedly, I’m looking at items that are fun, if not thematic. Boots of Lightning are an example of ‘thematic,’ though I doubt I’ll get those.)
