Spore, thanks for the Spanish(East) Harlem suggestion. It's perfect.

The New York Post listed one part of the neighborhood – the block of Lexington Avenue between East 123rd and 124th Streets – as one of "the most dangerous blocks in the city" because police crime statistics for 2015 showed that 19 assaults had taken place there, more than for any other city block. The Post also reported that there were, according to the Harlem Neighborhood Block Association, "22 drug-treatment programs, four homeless-services providers and four transitional-living facilities" in East Harlem.

Haha, yeah kinda! I actually thought about making a Groot joke in character, but then realized that people on Earth generally wouldn't be aware of the Guardians so it wouldn't really work.

Huge comics fan and MCU fan here, but thanks for the summary. It always helps to have something written to reference.

I'd say he's the on the larger/largest size of being mechanically "medium", which puts him somewhere between 7 and 8 feet depending on how tall he feels like being at the moment.

Spore: You might want to do it for character reasons since your species is alien and spread throughout the galaxy/universe?

Mechanically, Trystt will be dabbling in the Knowledge skills. I'll be keeping Perception, Disable Device, and Spellcraft maxed.

I wasn't expecting to deal with the 'confined spaces/underground' personality quirk right off the bat. That should be fun to deal with.

I find Wolverine ok as a character, I just dislike his currently place in Fox's X-men movies where he's in everything(like x men days of future past *rolls eyes* that was bad.)

I didnt even see the last solo Wolverine in Japan, But! I have heard good thing about this more so than usual so I may have to listen to your suggestion here as I'm also hugely skeptical.

Don't get me started on Deadpool and Ryan Reynolds.

Spore is the same as the others with the Knowledge Meta; I'll be spending some time at SHIELD getting some basic info to justify the skill point, since I've basically been reading old newspapers in the park and eavesdropping since I've been here.


Just to let you know guys, there is a point to all this.

Mainly to show that there are a number of heroes out there and you can start making contacts with them and to help you bond as a new team over a training exercise that we will get to eventually.

But also because I was thinking about making the training centre something you could use in your downtime for temporary or possibly even permanent bonuses.

The heads up is appreciated. At the same time, don't worry too much about it. Roleplay is cool, not everything needs to be combat. You've shown that you want us to be cool and to have fun. That earns a lot of trust.

That's an awesome idea for the training center. If you go that way, being able to pick up an extra feat or something would be dope.


Honestly, I haven't worked it out myself yet.

I don't know whether free feats might work out too powerful, I was thinking more like temporary boosts.

I'll think on it and discuss with you guys as it becomes relevant :)

Talking about the training I like the idea of getting a boon. Gives us a good reason to go there and we can interact with more heros!

While getting feats would be cool, if it was something like that what if it was more just unity ones? Like endurance ? Some thatpeople don't pick up? We did talk about boon for the next combat I like that too, anything you come up with will be nice.

Haha, hey! Endurance is absolutely VITAL to my build.

Really though, it's probably easier to write off, in character, that regular leveling/advancement is in part due to the use of training facilities as well as actual fighting/adventures.

I think that might be better answered by Midnight ooc.

21 is going to give you a pretty good overview of the world itself, major continents/countries, governing structure, recent history etc.

I like to keep the game moving quickly, those who've played with me previously will know that, but I also highly encourage roleplaying between the group and with NPCs and I think spoilers are the best way to manage that :)

Didn't come across that way at all, but not to worry even if it did. I'm fully aware that writing only conveys about 20% of meaning, absenting body language, tone and other clues, so I never take offense at a seeming slight online.

As GM, how do you prefer to handle trap searching? Do you like us making active checks, or you making checks for us, or something else?


Active checks usually. I don't want to assume you search every single nook and cranny because that totally negates the trapspotter rogue talent.
