Balfic-graa wrote:Love that song Rad. If this turns out to be a Sergio Leone scene I want to be Clint Eastwoods character.Exactly. It manages to be both western enough to be good for a shoot-out and indistinct-chanting/gothic enough for 40k, if that makes any sense.
Oddly enough, it does, I was thinking the same thing.

Thanks Rad, now your making me wish I still had my copies of Final Liberation, and Chaos Gate.

You know, the Joker's right. It really does just take one bad day to make a man go insane. Also, I'm going to be sitting out most of this fight babbling about whatever the GM sees fit and probably clawing at my hands trying to clean off nonexistent blood.
Oh, and if I run into one more thing that causes Insanity, I'm probably going to officially become Unsettled.
Welcome to Uriah's world, Davi. I have been lucky rolling and I still have 6 IP's and 4 CP's.

You know I was thinking it would really suck for Johnnie to run all the way up to help us, and fail his willpower test twitching on the floor next to Albrek.
It's funny, I was thinking the same thing earlier today. Roleplaying games and die rolls can be painfully anticlimactic sometimes. Hopefully this won't be the case with Rico.
Once Davi posts I will start start round #3.

Lik thanks for being patient. As a reward, I have worked up a unique homeworld template for your Death World of choice, Zel Secundus. Let me know if it is something you would like to incorporate for your character. It basically is an alternate Feral Homeworld character option similar to those found in the Inquisitor's Handbook.
Also, for Catman and Ellipsis, don't worry it won't be much longer.

No Problem when ever you can fit me in.

Okay Rook, wasn't sure.
On a side note I was reading up on the Flamers stats. Any character wounded by one of the Flamers psychic attacks has to make a Willpower Save +10 or take a d5 corruption points.
Yep, I tacked the roll on to Ishmael's post before retiring last night. He made it. Making one for Albrek on his turn now that he is coming to.

That is all Uriah needs is more CP's when it was not by any choice he made.

Yeah, in the original post, Ishmael used a Fate Point for the WP test, failing the first time, succeeding the second. When I pasted and reposted, I noticed the rolls were reversed, so I deleted the unnecessary Fate Point roll, and then the damn success disappeared. For what it is worth, he did succeed. Uriah can rest assured, it is not Tzeentch interposing his trickery on our reality.
; )

To respond to Uriah's comment on the main thread, I personally like how Ishmael's been portrayed lately. (Meaning since he became an NPC, no insult meant.) He's just entertaining from a reader's standpoint. From a character's standpoint he's annoying at best, but still entertaining to read.
EDIT: Yeah, if you delete the first roll in a series of rolls the other rolls just shift up one. You roll a 31, a 56, and a 2, if you delete the 31 roll the previous 56 becomes 31 and the 2 becomes 56.

Glad you like him Davi, some higher power than you must like him as well for that Agility roll to succeed. I'll be honest, with three new PC's coming in, even though Ishmael has grown on me, I wouldn't be weeping for too long if the dice fell badly and did a little housecleaning.
He must still have some purpose to serve (for this round at least, heh).

Yeah, I like how it tracks the rolls. I think the extra roll being lost in the eaten post mucked me up, though. I'm not so mean a GM that I would let the postmonster kill Ishmael though, even if he is an NPC.

He has been more sympathic towards me since he found out I am having visions, but Uriah still does not like him.
But you are right, he is an entertaining read.
Edit: The infamous post monster just ate this post so I cut and paste it in.
Re-edit: No insult, Balfic and I have known the player for twenty years.

I'm pretty sure the last time I had a problem it coincided with a page turn, too. I copy everything into the buffer before hitting submit now, it is as natural as breathing for me. Losing a big post or one with lots of rolls is a killer.

Unfortunately, although long and bizarrely shaped, the Flamer is not Hulking in size. If Rad wants to use a Fate Point to reroll, though...
This might be a good call given that I rolled a 120 on the Shock table for Johnnie.
EDIT: Misread the result, was fainting, not shoot your friends until they are all dead.

Rookseye wrote:See above for the edit, I misread the result. 135 is FAR worse than 120, but 120 isn't good either.what does 135 say? it'll be our little secret hehehe
Basically Johnnie goes on a rampage, attacking random target with the 'ol combat shotgun until he is knocked unconscious or "snaps out of it" (WP test).
