Dark Heresy: The Oremor Affliction IC

Or just retroactively increase their Strength by 10 and reduce their Agility by 5.

(Also, the guy who was raised in the dark void of space is stronger than Savolos! Eat it, Thul!)

Male Half-Orc 9th lvl Cleric, 4th lvl Ninja, 1st lvl Black Flame Zealot

Actually if you look at my build on the character sheet it does say I am wiry.

And Lorm its not wiry its wiry Had to throw in a movie reference.

Davi, Its true Iacton is the stronger of the two. But at the end of the day the Smile Girl was smiling at Savalos, and not him.

Male Half-Orc 9th lvl Cleric, 4th lvl Ninja, 1st lvl Black Flame Zealot

I am glad that nurgling had a weak bite. Whew!

Male Catfolk Shade (magically altered human) Monk-8, Mage-16

So Ssvalos was too wiry for the nurgling.

Too wiry to get a good grip on at least...

Male Catfolk Shade (magically altered human) Monk-8, Mage-16

Wow, Rookseye, that was some vision for Uriah. He is not going to mention a thing to Ishmael. He will be thinking about why he got that vision there and at that time.

Even though I never planned that he would be a diviner, this would turn him off to the idea completely.

And I am quite happy about that.

Male Catfolk Shade (magically altered human) Monk-8, Mage-16

Rookseye, I sent you an E-mail about my thoughts about the vision, but I forgot one question. Was the bloated man in Uriah's vision the same as the one in the holovid of Krade's kidnapping?

Most assuredly, yes.

Looks like wiry strength prevails in the end. I will post the nurgling actions tomorrow to finish the round.

They remind me of Daemonic Garbage Pail Kids. Just glad to get out of the restroom.

Now I have to think up my MIB story for the masses. To bad I don't have the flashy pen, and cool sun glasses.

Don't you mean a pen that flashes?

Received Rad. I will keep you posted.

Sent you a fresh write up Rook. Figured it was time to send another snapshot of what Sav is thinking.

Dark Archive

Anyone familiar with the Ordo Sepulturum?

Male Half-Orc 9th lvl Cleric, 4th lvl Ninja, 1st lvl Black Flame Zealot

I am. They covered there fluff during the 13th Black Crusade dealing with Typhus's fleet, and the zombie plague.

Dark Archive

Thanks Balfric for that.

FYI, I may be able to post more often at the time you guys are on-line, as I am moving my office to my home, so less time spent in transit and away from the 'net. Yay!!!

Sounds good Rad, I think we've been doing great even with the disparity in time zones, this should make things flow even better.

Radavel, I am glad you can save the commute. I did a 70 mile commute for about three years. It is not fun.

Male Half-Orc 9th lvl Cleric, 4th lvl Ninja, 1st lvl Black Flame Zealot

Glad to help Rad. If any of you guys want to look up any history or information in the 40k universe. This is the site I use.

Looking forward to seeing more of Johnnie. Granted if Sav and Iacton manage to walk out of the place.

Male Half-Orc 9th lvl Cleric, 4th lvl Ninja, 1st lvl Black Flame Zealot

Rook,

Glad you liked the write up. Figured its one of those life changing moments, and I wanted to take a snapshot of it for my character.

Male Catfolk Shade (magically altered human) Monk-8, Mage-16

I guess the weight of the world is on Uriah's gangly shoulders. It is funny that a voidborn is try to save a ball of dirt. The ground pounders are not going to appreciate it.

I'm sure the irony is not lost on him.

So, if Krade dies, I'm going to have to guard the Prisoner?

Krade better not die then.

LOL. That would be two voidborn tasked with keeping the turf-folk safe. At least you will have company, Uriah.

Dark Archive

Rook, I just read from the corebook about stimm and I noticed that Johnnie has some. That should make for some interesting applications :-)

Male Catfolk Shade (magically altered human) Monk-8, Mage-16

Two very unhappy gangly voidborn. lol.

Don't forget that Iacton is also Stoop-Shouldered! You are the most wiry, gangly, malformed bunch of acolytes in the history of the Imperium, it seems.

To Johnnie: Stimm is always interesting, heh.

Also, if Krade dies my two main goals will be to kill the Prisoner and to keep the Prisoner alive. There's going to be some pathos in Iacton's future, that's for sure. (And that's ignoring the fact that Savolos wants to punch Krade in the face.)

And we both have bluish skin. (only mine is pallid) Also we both want the Prisoner dead and will have to keep him alive. (see my first post about the Prisoner.)

Male Half-Orc 9th lvl Cleric, 4th lvl Ninja, 1st lvl Black Flame Zealot

At least I just want to punch Krade. Granted my opinon of him may improve or get worse. After all its only day one.

Just wait til Ishmael gets ahold of the prisnor...

Well since the orginal group has been up for over 24 hours. There is a pretty safe bet that most of day two will pass fairly quick. Got to sleep sometime.

and a treat for everyone.

Go to the link and click on description and it talks about what type of marines you can play in the kill team you are part of.

Your pacing is fine Rookseye. It is just the way pbp's turn out. Most of the time it goes at a reasonable pace considering everyone's conflicting schedules and Radavel living in the Philipines.

Didn't notice that. Still, those pages are just aggravatingly close to being readable. I don't really want/need to know what's written there, I just want to read it.

Male Half-Orc 9th lvl Cleric, 4th lvl Ninja, 1st lvl Black Flame Zealot

I feel your pain Davi. Makes me wonder if we can take traits to mark us from different Chapters though. Space Wolf, Blood Angel, etc.

I'm guessing those are going to be equivalent to home-worlds. After all, after that much alteration to the body, the types of alteration are probably going to have more effect than the fact that you grew up in a hive.

Dark Archive

have you seen the preview for the magos in the ascension book?

edit: yes i know everyone is positively giddy with delight with the announcement for deathwatch. i was expecting it to come out in 2011, since the original announcement i read from black library said the gap for each release was 16 months.

Male Humanoid Lurker 1/ Nerd 1

This? No, thanks for reminding me.

Male Half-Orc 9th lvl Cleric, 4th lvl Ninja, 1st lvl Black Flame Zealot

I have. Also picked up the latest White Dwarf today at my LGS. Looks like Haarlocks Legacy Part 3 is coming out before Ascension. Wish it was the other way around.

What I read in that description section, is that you will play one of six chapters in the Deathwatch as a mixed group, but they do not mention which ones. At least the corebook will only be six.

Male Half-Orc 9th lvl Cleric, 4th lvl Ninja, 1st lvl Black Flame Zealot

Well if they follow Codex releases it would be Space Wolf, Dark Angel, Blood Angel, Ultra Marine, Black Templar. Possibly Blood Raven since they are popular with the DoW series.

Yeah, the pacing thing was meant kind of tongue in cheek. There is likely some narrative time coming down the road shortly.

I know what you mean about the preview image for Deathwatch, too, Davi. Makes you wonder if their web layout guy did it on purpose to drive people crazy. I have to say, I'm really looking forward to it.

Two different Core Rulebook Campaign types in Dark Heresy and Rogue Trader before bringing in the Astartes, talk about building anticipation for the main course. All have great staying power as campaigns, too.

The Magos preview was cool as well, Ascension looks great.

Sorry about the delay in the timeline and wiki update, it will happen as soon as I can finish scouring the threads, I don't want to create any contradictions.

Male Catfolk Shade (magically altered human) Monk-8, Mage-16

I just got home. I went right from work to Balfic's and played a game of Dungeonbowl. My skaven team verses Norscans. It was a brutal game with both teams losing over half their total players. It was fun.
